We're at the rooms 511 & 510. Nice hotel and in good condition. Everything is clean and a little gift for our dog (Choco) At the reception, the welcome was warm and professional. The service and menus @ the restaurant are excellent. All the staff is welcoming and friendly. I recommend this hotel

Good food with relaxed sitting inside and outside, location forest/dunes/sea, friendly staff, nice outdoor swimmingpool for the warmer part of the year. Walking trails, one is almost direct behind the hotel, named waterbos. Enjoy!

The single rooms are so small that you can hardly turn around without hitting a wall. The beds are really minimum size. It's very old-fashioned style decorated with fake hunting trophies and a fake fireplace. Bathroom is modern and clean. The location is nice and enough parking space. The food looks nice when served but the amount of food is nearly enough to fill the stomach although the quality is good. Breakfast is really nice and enough choices. The price is three times more than it's worth. Nothing wrong with the staff but the hotel is a living museum. I was there for business and privately it's not my kind of hotel. Although if you like to visit the beach it's a perfect location.

Excellent location and atmosphere. Rooms need to be updated, small old beds and bathroom. We could hardly not sit on the toilette without hitting our knees against the wall. Staff was friendly but serving in the restaurant area was quite nervous, several waiters are serving at the same time, one takes the order another brings the order and then another one came for asking whether we needed another drink etc. one waitress came asking for ordering while we already ordered. Organization is a bit messy.

Cannot recommend this hotel. Had an apartment (177€/night) and was disappointed by the maintenance and cleaning service (see pictures attached) and interior. It’s old, smelly and needs a big upgrade. Found several death flys, midges in the room combined with spiderwebs. The rooms are bad isolated ( you will hear the neighbours and surroundings very well. The food is simple but good. Had the spare rips and tartare. The sauna, which you have to book for 12,50€ per hour is ok but should be included in the overpriced room charges as in any other even lower rated star hotel.

We only went to eat dinner, and it was very good!

Pool opens to non-guests in the afternoon so it’s packed with screaming children, otherwise nice. My room was very small and on the ground floor, but actually a basement. It smelt like fish the whole time despite efforts from staff to cover it with air fresheners and even with the window open (ventilation is poor). Key cards stop working every few minutes - I went through 4 in 8 hours. Staff mentions it’s because you hold it close to your phone, even though this happened only once (I paid attention after of course.) Food, wine and location so close to the beach were good but definitely not worth the price.

Room waa ok, a bit lost in the 80s and lodgy. No a/c, no fan and my window doesn't open, so a very hot night unless we left the balcony door and the bedroom door open on the first floor. Everything could use a refresh.

We had a wonderful time, it is a jewel among beach hotels because it was honestly one of the first times in years that we were treated with kindness by every single staff member at a hotel. We truly felt the definition of what a holiday should be and could feel that the hotel policy was to make sure we felt that too...No complaints, we will definitely return again.

Small old rooms. Rooms smelt of mold. The whole building smelt very bad of damp and mold. Very unhealthy environment. Buildings all out dated they need re modernising. No elevator. We requested ground floor but got put on the 3rd floor even tho we had a 1 year old baby and an elderly woman. Service from staff was terrible. Rude and ignorant. The location was good because it’s right near the beach but other than that nothing was good. Extremely disappointed. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

What an amazing and lovely 7 nights stay I had at Badhotel Rockanje. The staff team was wonderful all around. From friendliness to helpfulness, I felt welcome, very much at home and appreciated. Had meals in the restaurant with my family to celebrate my birthday and being together, and all the food was delicious, and the service friendly and helpfull. Rented a bicycle for a few days, which were of good quality. Breakfast every morning did become a little repetitive, so would not mind to be able to order something from the kitchen in addition on certain mornings, but definitely good, convenient and appreciated. Having so many years of memories of my Opa and Oma and family gatherings in Rockanje, this was my first stay in Badhotel Rockanje. But I expect to be back on a yearly basis. What a wonderful place to spend time away from home. Thank you to everyone I interacted with, for making me feel so welcome. You all have a wonderful year, and until next time.
