Had an exceptional dining experience at Oakwood Grill. Despite walking in without a reservation on a busy night, I was promptly seated and warned that dishes might take a bit longer. Surprisingly, the service was quick and efficient. The Serrano ham starter was not only delicious but also generously portioned. Followed by great spareribs and a perfectly grilled rib-eye, the meal was a meat lover's dream. Even with a full house, Oakwood Grill exceeded all expectations in both quality and service speed. Highly recommend and can't wait to return!

We had to change our reservation from three to two on the day we had planned to visit. The friendly staff member I spoke on the phone made no problem of it at all. Sadly this meant we got a rather drafty spot near the front door with cold blasts of air every time someone entered. The very nicely decorated restaurant was packed which slowed service down, who were very good but just understaffed. We weren't in a rush, so that was ok but running out of drinks when meals were served was a bit disappointing. The food was excellent although we did ask to return one of our steaks to the grill for not being cooked medium as we requested, this was handled very nicely. A selection of different salts served with the steaks was a very nice touch I haven't seen before. Specially the Molokai black lava salt was very interesting! After being allowed to reopen due to covid for a couple of weeks now it seems this restaurant is taking on more guests than it can handle while trying to maintain the high standards which it is most definitely capable of. This is a pity but understandable. With that in mind, I definitely recommend this restaurant (and its hard working staff).
