We wilden OV fietsen huren bij station Steenwijk om er ‘s avonds mee naar een restaurant te fietsen maar er waren er geen meer beschikbaar. Gelukkig was eigenaar Jaap zo lief dat we tegen een mooi prijsje fietsen konden huren voor een paar uur. Volgende ochtend genoten van een heerlijk en uitgebreid ontbijt. Ga zo door!!

De B&B ligt centraal in een mooie straat van het verassende Steenwijk. Na wat tips van Marja en Jaap zijn we de omgeving gaan ontdekken. Jammer genoeg hadden wij maar 1 nachtje geboekt en dat was te kort. Mooie natuur(gebieden) in de omgeving. Ook 's avonds nog even gewandeld in het park achter de B&B. Het ontbijt was lekker en vers. Ik wil terug komen, niet alleen voor de omgeving maar ook voor de B&B!

Very lucky to book the room in the last minute. The room is very beautiful and comfortable. Service is excellent and the breakfast is so good with plenty of breads, yogurt, cheese, hams, fruits, eggs, fresh juice, and coffee.

Fantastic stay and great sleep in this beautiful, nicely decorated hotel. All small touches and amazing hospitality of Jaap are highly appreciated. They have nice coffee and place is very clean, all the things which are important to us. They also have a beautiful inner garden. The only one small thing, that would it make even better is more protein for breakfast, i.e. maybe omelette with variety of fillings. It’s really a small thing and down to people personal choices. Overall, it’s just an amazing place. We will be back ❤️

Wow! Staying at B&B De Stadssingel was like one massive hug from start to finish. Incredible attention to detail, the likes of which I've never experienced in the many hotels & B&Bs I've stayed in all over the world (plenty of toilet roll, amazing scents, a non-metalic spoon for yoghurt & eggs for better taste, quality chocolates and coffee in the room, luxury shampoo and body wash, powerful luxury shower). The hosts were so friendly, with lots of information and tips for the surrounding area. The bed was super comfy - we had the best nights sleep! Breakfast was absolutely delicious, varied, healthy - just excellent, as was the tea! It was such a treat, we didn't want to leave. After we left we stayed at Chateau St Gerlach and it just did not compare (didn't even come close) to our stay at B&B De Stadssingel. You are doing everything brilliantly, thank you so much for our wonderful stay! We can't wait to visit again.

I usually don’t give 5 stars to any institutions but this place was exceptional. It was a B&B but had everything, was very clean and orderly. The hosts were very welcoming and detail oriented. The room was not huge but very comfortable. Simply faultless.

We stayed at the B&b Stadssingel in Steenwijk the Netherlands on September the 1st. Jaap took our luggage up the stairs and to our rooms. The rooms were nicely decorated and we overlooked the street. There is a lot to do as the B&b is near the central town square. The breakfast were very good. I would stay there again.
