Loved everything about this place. The 8 tables mean it feels intimate and the chef and servers have time for a chat and to explain the dishes. Every course was incredible with bold, brave, and fresh flavour combinations. It’s everything a modern Michelin star restaurant should be (and more). Can’t wait to go back if we’re in the area again.

Studio is a very nice restaurant, definitely worth a Michelin star! The food was excellent and the wine pairings were tasty. The chef's fusion cuisine draws heavily on flavors from the Near - and Far East. Service was efficient and friendly. The kitchen team introduce each plate at the table. Minor point of criticism, it took a bit too long to get the check. Overall, a great experience!

Truly a one of a kind experience. The attention to detail is extraordinary. Every meal is a party and i have not eaten anything like this at this level for quite some time. My Compliments to the chef and shout out to the staff about sharing their wine knowledge and sharing the passion about their bread, butter, meals and recipes. Where to start. The food is excellent: fusion food with inspiration from Asia. Delicious and original courses combined with good wine. Furthermore, the service is very adequate! Very nice people giving nice explanations about the food. The chef is very open for discussion, ask him any question you have! Of course, this one star Michelin restaurant is pricey, but definitely worth the price. I recommend this restaurant 😁

First of all, I'd like to say thank you for being patience with the noise that my party made in the place. My guests were not familiar with such atmosphere and manners that we had to do when in this kind of decent restaurant. Regarding the food we were served, I ate too much. 6 course should fit for me. As an Asian, I felt little bit salty on all of the food. But in general, it was beautifully harmonized with Asian and western - taste, dish, and ingredient. Wines were great. The wine we drank after champaign was unforgettable. It is one of the best ones I've ever tasted in my life.

Just had the best lunch ever in so long, This is the first time i eat modern cuisine with asian flavor in it that does not hold back in flavor, very BOLD, the texture of every single dish is very well thought (especially the dessert omg), every bite i ate is just basically a umami bomb. love the presentation as well, not pretentious at all. Service is top notch i feel at home the entire two and a half hours, today is the day i become a fan of chef Gilbert von Berg, and kudos to all the kitchen team explaining and executing every dish to perfection.

This is definitely top. To be recommended. Very creative, new tastes and flavours. Is a total culinary experience. Beautiful evening in a nice space, with a great team and fantastic cooking. We loved the subtle blend of japan, morocco, Lebanon and other influence that offer a uge variety of tastes and textures, very often with a massive kick and great umami. The wine pairing is super smart, as the wines proposed reveal themselves only fully in conjonction with the dish. All that in a friendly, modern, warm atmosphere, bravo to a fantastic team, we will be back !

Yesterday evening, we had one of the best nights at STUDIO in Maastricht. We fell in love with the cuisine! Often, when we go out and go for a tasting menu, 1 or 2 dishes are less to our liking (most often the main meat and dessert). But here, every single dish won us over. The service and the pace of the evening were excellent too. And let's not forget about their sourdough and butter! Definitely an address we'll visit again... and you should too!

Had an amazing experience, the menu is original and created with a lot of passion and expertise. The staff can explain the dishes extremely well even if you have some extra questions about specific ingredients. i would definitely recommend this place 10/10

We had a memorable dinner at Studio last week-cooking at a very high level, superb food with an adventurous twist,especially the vegetarian version of the menu. The wine pairing for every course was a perfect match. Well trained,focust and charming staff on both sides of the kitchen. Beautiful tableware as well. The best fine dining restaurant in Maastricht! My girlfriend and I had the best dinner experience of our lives! Everything of the evening was perfect; from the music that plaid such a big part of the atmosphere, to the restaurant's design and small details like the candles and cutlery holder. The service was impeccable and we loved how every dish was brought to the table and presented by a different chef. The menu was incredibly original, mixing continental classics with some Asian spice and touch. We honestly cannot say what was our favourite course as every single one was an explosion of flavours perfectly balanced with each other. Special kudos to the Black Angus rib slow cooked for 24 hours and served with fermented white asparagus and a parmesan & truffle sauce. The dessert is the most original creation we ever had: an ice cream made from the (delicious) home made sourdough bread left overs served with caramelized pumpkin. Compliments to every single staff member that created such lasting memories and experience! Price-wise it was extremely fair and I would definitely go back soon to try a new menu!

A must-eat restaurant if you are in Maastricht!!! Chef Gilbert and his team run a restaurant that delivers an amazing experience. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy, with all elements blending harmoniously, from the menu to the dishes made by sous-chef Cas Driessen. The hosts were very friendly and committed to making us feel comfortable and relaxed. The food, however, topped it all. The amount of different cuisines, Sichuan, Japanese, Dutch, Indian, Middle-Eastern, and more, in a dish was impressive, showing off the team's comprehension of flavour, as well as their boldness to experiment with new things. Thank you for the great experience!!!

We've had an excellent lunch: all courses were well-balanced, not overly complex and very tasty! The children (10 and 14 years old) also thought the food was great! Very friendly staff. When we're in the neighborhood of Maastricht again, we'll definitely try to make a reservation.

Amazing food, Very good wine, Great team We had a wonderful night. The service is very friendly, engaging and a bit of fun. The food and wine was the highlight of the night very rich in Flavors and we loved everything but Donburi and dessert was our most favorite. We’ll definitely going back soon with some friends.

Fine dining done right! The other Michelin starred restaurant around the corner that loves you could learn a thing or two from this place and their food! No fuss, just good food in a nice atmosphere with suitable music, even the bread and butter were impressive.

A great experience with a meal that is both innovative yet familiar. Great use of fermentation to give that "little bit extra" while not dominating the menu. Charming service and a great atmosphere with the open kitchen and the entire kitchen brigade serving as well as preparing meals.
