First of all I would like to extend my thanks to uncle whose hospitality and warm welcome just won our heart ❤️ and made me write this long review. We went to this place on our first day in Paris. Food was delicious and even more than that the way uncle greeted us and served the food to us was beyond words. Uncle was very generous and kind to us. He offered us special kulfi and I must say it tastes yum. The whole ambience was very soothing and food was yumm. I would highly recommend this place to everyone who want delicious food with warm welcome 🙏. Please guys do visit this place. This review is not sponsored but I truly felt so overwhelmed that day and I couldn't resist myself writing this. Thanks.

We didn’t made reservations but they were able to find us some seats. We really enjoyed our dinner here. Service was very nice, food was good. The poulet vind allou wasn’t as spicy as I expected but it was tasty. Biryani was also not as spicy. Maybe the spice level is toned down for European guests, I am not sure. Overall it was a nice dinner.

Zero customer service - totally disappointed Booked this restaurant for a special dinner. Made a reservation for 8.30pm which was confirmed. Got to the restaurant at 8.30 and was told table wasn't ready and could have a drink at bar. No problem we said , so my husband ordered a beer and I wanted wine so deferred to wait till we got table to choose bottle. So 15 min goes by and as nothing was happening , I approach the man in charge to ask when our table will be ready ? he says the table would be another 15 min or so or I could take a table at the back . So given this was already late and we were hungry we agreed. So the table they gave us was right at the back , beside end of bar and very soon we noticed that it was right beside where the bar staff load and unload the dishwasher. All we could hear was clinking glasses and staff working. Not really in line with the romantic dinner I thought we were going to have when I booked it one week in advance . So I approached the man again and complained. His attitude was terrible and basically said that he did have a table available for our reservation ( referring to the dishwasher table ) and that he had offered us a better table just at the side of where the entrance to the kitchen was ( which he did not ) . I explained again how I had a reservation for 8.30 and this was not acceptable customer service. He didn't give a damn and there was no apology for any inconvenience, just an attitude to me basically that we were over reacting. So we left . In short , The service and attitude of the staff was terrible and not something we are used to in our country so it was a very disappointing night unfortunately.

Overall rather uninspiring. We ordered an in onion bahji starter, that arrived with our mains, that was too salty to eat. The spicy lamb was strangely minted and the flavour was a touch off for my palate. Can't fault the meat though, the lamb was soft and juicy. The cheese naan contains a kind of weak, runny cheese, similar to dairylea. The peshwari naan has a strong pistachio flavour, which some readers will love, and no sweetness to it. We didn't eat them in the end but we weren't charged either, which was decent of them. The daal is excellent, the surprise star of the show. None of the dishes are served with fresh coriander or ginger garnish and lack the freshness of flavour that comes with that. Nice spice levels though. It's $18/l of beer. If you're passionate about curry this may not be the place for you, it's close but doesn't quite deliver.

The best Indian restaurant in Paris. We ordered an extensive meal comprising everything from appetizers, drinks, main course and dessert. The service was excellent and the environment was genuine, authentic, and caring. Loved it and will visit again! Cheers to the manager!

finefood, poor service at best Came here for an Indian dinner in paris. The food was good. We ordered the jawad curry , garlic naan, palak paneer and the lamb. The food was good. After our appetizers the main course took 45 minutes to come only after to hailed the server and the manager. Neither of them apologized for not getting us the food on time and they avoided us for the rest of the dinner. We finished our drinks and water and not once did they approach us to ask if we want anything else. For the quality this place is also expensive. They charge Micheline star prices but they far from it. Stay away and spend your $$$ elsewhe

It’s amazing the food, the portions are very good and the taste is delicious. Amazing place and ambient. The attention it’s really good too, the personal it’s very nice and fast. They give us a mango smoothie free for taste. You should try the passion fruit smoothie it’s amazing! 10/10 I love it, my favorite Indian restaurant.

You feel rushed the whole time. We wanted to try because it is well rated: we ended up disappointed. The food is NOT insane, and the worst is the service. You are barely done eating that they bring your the bill. It’s VERY rude. I don’t understand such a good rating

Gonna start with the Ambiente, very nice and modern but definitely not Indian style. The food is average nothing special. Chicken isn’t tender at all and the sauce not Original Indian. If you go to India you will understand the quality difference. I mean to have a dinner it’s okay, but don’t expect explosion in your mouth. Yeah may people who don’t eat Indian food often they will think it’s the best Indian food. The presentation of the food is good but let me say you something you come here to have the taste of India. The naan bread was a joke to thick and not baked well. As I said the food is okay not more not less. This is review from someone who loves Indian food and who ate it once a week all around the world.

Really enjoyed eating at The New Jawad in Paris! Delicious Indian flavors with a cozy atmosphere. Service was friendly and prompt. It’s tasty, fresh and offer many options on the menu. Personally it was too classic for me but it remains a great dining experience. Solid 4 stars!

So my wife and I have been travelling across Europe for about 2 weeks now and after crossing the 10 day mark the Indian in us was screaming for some good home cooked meal. Now that we are in Paris we came across this place called “New Jawad” in Longchamp and decided to give it a try, we were lucky to have reached the place early during opening at 7PM coz boy a boy did the place get packed. If you plan on reaching this place around 8PM I highly recommend that you make a reservation. We ordered the Butter Chicken a signature dish at the restaurant and it was simply wow So creamy and delicious the taste still lingers on my tongue, decided to eat it with a kheema naan and a garlic naan and we absolutely loved it. Also ordered the chicken biryani coz we were so hungry and totally skipped clicking it. How could we skip dessert after a nice masaledar meal? We couldn’t do we had the signature Malai Kulfi and it was delectable. If you are in Paris and are craving Indian or Pakistani food, you absolutely have to visit this place. The team and the owner were so nice to us it was an absolute delight. 7 on 5 for the overall experience and a big thanks to the team.

I visited New Jawad for my boyfriend’s birthday, and we had an okay experience! The restrooms were impeccably clean, the decor was pretty, and the vegetable samosas were delicious. I must also compliment the staff as they are very attentive and professional! However, there were some glaring issues. The sweet sauce provided had bananas in it for some reason? Very weird. The butter chicken (the signature dish) I had was probably the worst I’ve ever eaten, and that was so disappointing. It was more oily than creamy, and it had a very strong bacon taste for some reason? I found small flat chunks of what I assumed must be some other kind of meat, because even my boyfriend remarked that it tasted like pork, which wouldn’t make any sense. Lastly, the “saffron” rice was 5 euros for a relatively small portion and maybe 2 drops of color. All in all, I’d like to give another location a try and maybe see if this butter chicken was just a fluke.

Beautiful location, very spacious and nice ambience. Hard to find this combination in Paris! The service is top notch, the food delicious and it’s authentic Pakistani food. And on top of this, the prices are super reasonable too! Definitely recommended! But better to make reservation as it was quite full.

One of the best Lamb Tikka Massala I’ve ever tried !! Very good service, waiters are detailed, and the food and taste is incredible! If you like near by is a must. The price is super affordable compared to the quality of the dishes.

If you are looking for spicy Indian food, look away. The serving portions are pretty less compared to the price. The ambiance is good, and the staff are polite.

A nice place near touristy area but not a tourist trap. Very friendly staff. Good number of vegan options but you should make sure to tell them upfront - they cook their rice with buttter so make sure you be very explicit in all your orders. When they brought rice with butter they were quick to make separate batch for us. Flavor profile is good, mild and perhaps we could have asked for more heat. The apps were overpriced for the amount so I would say skip apps. The friendly person there whom the rest of the staff addressed as “uncle” was very attentive and made us sit after we paid the bill to give us sweet port like drinks on the house

Great food and service, especially my main server Asif. Glad I took the recommendations from my hotel concierge to check out this Indian restaurant. They even gave me a complimentary apple drink after my meal, never had that before and it was delicious!

To be honest, low quality indian-pakistani restaurant! We went on 28Jan2023 with my wife and very good friend to spend a good time and enjoy a traditional and delicious Indian-Pakistani supper. To be sure we had a spot, I booked my reservation for 3 at 8pm. Due to metro being delayed, we arrived around 8:10pm. I told the waiter that we had a reservation for 8pm and our table wasn't even ready and we had to wait 45min to get a spot. Basically, don't waste your time to book in advance as it will be first come first served. They only look for high number of people and how much benefits they can make. Then we got a spot in a corner and the table had spots of dirts. It wasn't even clean to be honest. Then we waited again 30min for a waiter to come and get our order. We took the chicken Samosas and vegetarian samosas, cheese naan, nature naan, chicken byriani, nature basmati rice, chicken Shai Korma, Chana Massala or chickpeas Stew, chicken Tikka massala. It was a terrible supper. The Samosas looked industrial, small and tasteless. The byriani was not a byriani. It looked like a fried rice and the chicken inside was blend and dry. The rest was only sauce and very small pieces of chicken. They said in menu that chicken were cooked on wood charcoal but it did not feel like that. They were cooked in the sauce and you could feel something you could make at home or something you could buy from a grocery store. Naan breads looked homemade but I didn't come to Indian-Pakistani place for bread. It is a shame to be honest. You can look at my photos and you will understand by the look, shape and consistency that my review is honest (not my first time to review food). Also, they didn't use too much spices and their food tastes like a all you can eat indian buffet, nothing less nothing more. I forgot to mention how expensive was the food. It is not even worth half the price. To be honest, I should have eaten a cheeseburger from Mcdonald. It would be better and price wise it would be definitely better. The service was so slow and staffs were all over the place. In conclusion, I highly don't recommend this place!!! Quantities are small, quality is very low, food is not even traditional, recipes are not even original, and service is terrible. If you don't belive me, go try for yourself. To close the loop, at the end, we paid and my wife and friend went to bathrooms and they were in shock. They said the toilets were not clean at all. They couldn't belive it. I welcome anyone to go and check this place for safety and hygiene, I am sure they will have a nice surprise in the kitchen.

Hospitality was amazing, this is 2nd time I've been here. It's a Must for Indian/Pakistani food if in Paris. Portions are small, one dish of lamb curry is about 16 euros, enough for one person only. Quality 10/10 See you next time.

Everything … just everything is great about this restaurant. The sheikh kebabs are awesome . Naans and curry are delicious. We ordered the cheese naan and we loved it. It’s very kids friendly restaurant. Gravy items are delicious . The hospitality is something you won’t receive anywhere in Paris . It’s the best. We got complimentary welcome drink as well as complimentary dessert wine which is their signature.

Chicken biryani and chicken tikka masala were delicious As for the butter chicken, I don't like it and I think that they should look for the problem because I think that other restaurants serve the dish in a better way. And all the staff are friendly and move like bees to serve customers

Great food and good ambience. But more than all our server was really awesome and friendly. The dishes were all quite good but the kulfi was the winner (wife had 3!). The owner also working there himself was quite friendly. If looking for Pakistani/Indian cuisine in Paris this is it.

This was truly an incredible experience. My boyfriend and I came here for a dinner date, and so far it has been our favorite place to dine at. The service was incredible, and everyone was super kind. They treated us like family, and made me feel like I was eating dinner at home with my loving family. The food was also very delicious, and you can tell the food was cooked with love! I can’t wait to come back here. I wish this restaurant was in my home town, in America!! I will definitely be visiting this restaurant next time I come to Paris!
