The Waldeck is a really nice hotel in Titisee (central location) with welcoming staff & a very pleasant feel about it! It is also a dog-friendly place with their own dog (a long, red-haired Highland cow dog!) who lies peacefully scrutinizing everyone who passes by in the lobby with one eye! The evening meal served in the restaurant was simply scrumptuous! (made with love & attention!)... and the waiters/waitresses were helpful and attentive to detail. The bartender also knows how to make a cracking cocktail!! An absolute MUST! Breakfast is self-service (indoors or outside on the terrace), and typically Continental (also with eggs/bacon or eggs/mushrooms... some small German sausages would have been nice too!). You can also squeeze your own fresh orange juice with a great little machine! The breakfast staff are great! The hotel has a nice indoor pool, with an underground sauna & hammam baths, as well as an outdoor jacuzzi and sun-loungers. All in all, very relaxing! The cleaners are also very friendly & do their job well! A special thanks to Frama, a very bubbly lady, and her colleague, who cleaned our room every morning. I guess this efficient & friendly team spirit is very much a reflection of good hotel management at the Parkhotel Waldeck 4☆, and can be highly recommended!

Absolutely beautiful hotel here at Titisee right in the opposite of the train station. Very cosy and very comfortable. The staff is very helpful. Though check in starts at 1500h, they checked us in early at 1130h because we were cold (it was very cold, -1°C, when we arrived). The lobby is fantastic and they have a very nice fire in an open fireplace in the evening. Also Titisee is not very far from here. Its a walk of approximately 400m only

All facilities closed. No restaurant, bar, sauna or pool open at the weekend in high season.

Good location, but the trains are a little noisy if you are early to bed or a late riser. Rooms well appointed and comfortable. Small but nice pool area and jacuzzi.

We just had a drink in the bar (two special beers). The waiter (sommelier) gave us all the attention and explained everything about the beers the bar offers. Very nice. Upperclass.

Great service! Best location! Delicious food! Will definitely return here!
