We are a big family, and we came every summer to enjoy our vacation in Europe. It was our worst experience ever. We have usually been welcomed and treated very well. We always found Europeans are very friendly and kind, But those guys in this hotel were really weird. They wrote on their page that children of all ages are welcome, but then we were surprised that only some of the room categories and not the suites. Then they decided (by the woman who claimed she is the owner) that all of our kids are not welcome in all categories! They said that we did not mention the number of kids during the reservation. Sadly, when we tried to explain that is because we didn’t need any extra beds for them and we also were ready for any additional charge, they didn’t even listen. They forced us to cancel our reservation! (by the way, last week, we did not mention our kids during the reservation process on both Düsseldorf- intercontinental and NH collection of Amsterdam, and our kids were welcomed upon check-in and even included in the breakfast). What hotel in the world insists on separating young kids from their parents!! I can not leave my 2 and 5 years old children alone in a separated room !! And l believe it is against the law in many countries. We were shocked by how they spoke to us and their uncivilized behavior. We came all overseas to discover and enjoy many places, including this fantastic lake. We arrived very late, just before sundown. It was a long drive for more than five hours with our kids and parents who needed to rest after that long day. Unfortunately, they didn’t consider any of that. Actually, this hotel was below our standards, but we chose it because of the location and the lake view. They try to make it a luxurious hotel, but it will never be. Especially if they treat their customers the way they dealt with us (I kept my two kids with me at the most luxurious hotels in the world, they never been refused, and it never considered a kind of people stocking like what the staff said to us). Was it a kind of racism? No one knows!! . I hope we never meet those kinds of people again.

Everything about this hotel was perfect and we would recommend it highly. The rooms were huge , with large balconies with amazing views over the lake and Forrest. There was a very impressive choice of food at the breakfast buffet. All the staff very very professional and helpful.

Wonderfull place to stay! Very relaxing, good vibes & ambiance. Private beach on the lake & 2 min walk to the village. Can highly recommend. Has resident Alpacas too.

Mind blowing and super calm scene from the balcony if you choose the lake view. Very clean room and very good variation for the breakfast and dinner. I would say its one of the best places in titisee!!

Wonderful experience! The cuisine is marvelous and staff very friendly, competent and conscientious. Rooms have a beautiful view and kept in excellent state. The private beach on the lake provides a secure way to enjoy the fresh water lake.

Great place to have an amazingly good weekend or even more days ;-) . Perfectly placed near the lake. The staff were humble and friendly. The bartender was great. The swimming pool and sauna was fun. The restaurant was amazingly good. I would come back again. A little bit costly i guess, but i think it is worth it. Note : they don't accept AMEX

Close to the lake with very friendly staff. Very good location with lots of opportunities for cycling or hiking. The area is a fantastic .... Had a renovated room with a balcony and a great view of the lake. My food and wine were very good $$$. With a spa area where I enjoyed a good massage. Storage space for bicycles and paid parking spaces. With a private beach separated by a street. Unfortunately there is a lot of traffic through bikes and poser cars during the day. A little too loud for my taste ....

This is an amazing stay. The beds are comfy, the staff amazing, breakfast wonderful, sauna and spa relaxing, and the location could not be better. You’ll feel amazing. So amazing, in fact, that you’ll probably forget that you’re paying the equivalent of a new iPhone or a months worth of food for a family of four for a double for two nights. And so well, that the rather useless WiFi (forget about LTE) won’t aggravate you for more than a few minutes.
