A hotel with best location and private beach. Almost perfect, but the staff… no motivation and a service pitiful

Nice view/lakeside. However, it isn't worth the money. When we check in, we should be notified of the conditions surrounding the hotel. Apparently, there is a live band outside our window and all the restaurants are closed because of a festival. While i understand it is impossible to accommodate everyone, it would have been been nice to have been made aware of the fact that there are no restaurants options available, especially when we pay 300€ a night. At least have the foresight to make sure your guests can make reservations at the restaurant in the hotel they are paying, if you know there aren't other options. Also, perhaps talk to the festival organizers about how much people pay to stay here and negotiate your quiet hours. Finally, when a customer is upset that they are basically stranded in their room with no dining options, fighting with them at the front desk shouldn't be an option. Basically, this place doesn't seem to take care of it's guests. The experience has been terrible.

Great hotel. Excellent location. Downside was no air-conditioning. And the hotel are not geared up for hot weather. Asked at reception if they had any fans for the room for the night , but no 🥵not good if your a peri menopausal woman 🥵

The interial of the rooms/hotel are a little bit oldish. Not really my taste. But it was very nice. Service was also great, and the staff where always ready to help

The feather pillows are allergies waiting to happen. Unfortunately we are extremely sensitive with this type of sleeping material, and thus were suffering from blocked sinuses during the night. The water was expensive, and the bottles were unsealed. I was quite taken aback by then finding out I can take my own water. I didn't mind paying for water that was closed but refilled water from the tap at €8 a bottle seemed like a robbery to us. Otherwise, the new year's eve gala was SUPER! The staff are awesome and we will be coming back in summer or when it actually snows :) (with our own pillows though :P) THANK YOU!!!!

We had a great stay at the beautiful Titisee lake. The area was very tourist friendly, I think there were only hotels & shops around! It was very pleasant and nice to walk around. The hotel is a bit outdated, but the rooms were simple and clean. The bathroom on the other hand was very modern and classy and a pleasure to be in. A rainfall shower 🤩. Cleaning service was also great, you could see they worked hard. But as I said the style of the lobby & restaurant reminded me a bit of the style of the 80/90s.. could do with a new updated look 🙂 The staff was also very friendly and helpful. There seemed to be a sauna & spa but we did not have the time to check that out. Also the bowling alley (which was broken for a bit so we couldn’t play) and the pool table area were very musty and hard to breathe in. We had rooms on the forest side but that’s basically on the side with the traffic, stores & people. Not necessarily bad because it’s calm, but I strongly recommend to take a room at the lake side. The view is phenomenal. Especially when you’re not used to mountains (I’m from the Netherlands where it is basically 95% flat 😄) Also in the surroundings there’s a lot of things to do on the water, all kinds of different boats & shops. A little train in the mountains which we had a free pass for I believe. We only stayed for 3 nights and couldn’t do everything due to the rain but it was a good experience and we enjoyed it in Titisee 🙂 There is also a very nice lounging area in the garden with a view of the lake. Very relaxing. It was a nice stay :) Ps. Me and my friend had adjoining rooms with a door that could open so we could visit each other, it was a fun detail 😊
