Wonderful. They use the absolute best avocados in their food. Flavorful salsas and sauces. Excellent shrimp. The best beans and potatoes flavor wise I’ve had ANYWHERE.

Hidden gem. Casual dining with delicious Guadalajara style Mexican food. The bluefin tuna ceviche is a must-have. The lengua in sauce is the best preparation of lengua I've ever had. Excellent corn tortillas. Surprisingly good wine list.

We tried this place out yesterday for dinner. Had the asada enchiladas and shrimp plate with avocado appetizer. It was delicious. In fact it was so good we returned for breakfast this morning. I had the chilaquiles and baby had the enfrijoladas and they were amazing. With a mimosa..can't wait to try everything on the menu. It's our new spot. Love that the owner is so involved and provides service, he is so friendly and makes the place very inviting. I never leave reviews but they deserve one.

The food was amazing, we had the asada quesadilla with rice and bean and the shrimp enchiladas with cilantro sauce and rice. The sauce was so tasty with a little kick. They are moving to another location which is a little farther to drive but I definitely would make the drive!!

Was recommended this place by a friend. The place didn't disappoint. Great selection of menu items. Food came out hot and delicious. It's one the places you just got to be told about. It's a hidden gem 💎 you don't want to miss out on. I can recommend this location for your Mexican food. The staff is funny and great and made sure we had a great time waiting for our food. Kept us updated even when the restaurant was busy.

Real Mexican food you will certainly find here - and it is delicious! Not Tex Mex and it shows. The cuisine is straight out of Mexico. Been to many portions and say that with great confidence. Ceviche, tacos, & quesadilla were outatanding!

This is a lovely family restaurant with amazing food. I would suggest the pork belly Torta. The pork melts in your mouth and the the bread is so light and fluffy! Warning the pork is a bit fatty so if you are not into that I suggest the asada as it is also wonderful.

My husband and I had delicious and attractive Sunday meal here. The food is Mexican rather than Tex-Mex, our food was medium spicy hot. Again is was delicious and beautifully plated. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. We’ll go back for another meal soon.

We had a surprise Birthday Dinner here. The food was amazing as always . Hands down the best salmon I have ever eaten. We had a large party of 16 and every single person enjoyed their meal. You can tell every dish is made with love. The owner and staff made us all feel very special. Even though we had a large party, our drinks stayed refilled, our food was fresh/hot and they were so attentive to each one of us. They sang Happy Birthday in Spanish. It was beautiful they even created sounds like fireworks. It was so creative and one of a kind experience! We look forward to visiting this hidden Gem often! I ordered the salmon, mixed vegetable and potatoes. You will not be disappointed and I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s worth every penny! I don’t write reviews unless it is an above and beyond experience!

What a fabulous surprise we had when dining at Salomon’s. The food was extremely fresh. The wine list is like none other in this area. We had the tuna ceviche, which was made when we ordered it. The owner, Oscar, was very knowledgeable of his menu and wines. They offer cooking classes and dinner nights. We will definitely be regulars. So happy to know there is a quality restaurant in our area.

Delicious food. Friendly staff. Real Mexican food. We had the shrimp ceviche. I had the shrimp tacos. They are street taco size. My husband had the chicken quesidilla. All the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

Positive feed back.... good food, great service, cute place, big tables, and good tea. Not so great.... straws that break? Weird. Nothing is reasonably priced. It was $100 for 4 enchilada plates and 4 teas. I mean over all it's a cute place, the guy running it is really kind and fun. Not $100 fun, but where we won't probably go back the food was pretty good. Asada had good flavor.

Food was amazing..from the ceviche, the calamari, and blue fin tuna. The surf n turf to the ribeye was cooked to perfection. And the lenga and enchiladas were on point. Can't wait to try the breakfast menu...Soon

The culinary experience at Sal-O-Mon’s is exceptional! The cuisine is true interior and authentic Mexican cuisine (not yellow cheese Tex Mex), and it absolutely incredible with authentic ingredients and flavors. Their wine list is the best in New Braunfels, and if you need assistance choosing a wine ask Oscar the proprietor - you will not be disappointed. And the service is exactly what makes a fine dinning experience fun and unique, with complete attentiveness to the details. Probably the best dinning experience in New Braunfels.

Sal-O-Mon Family Restaurant has the most delicious Mexican food 😋 if you're in the New Braunfels, Texas area you must come here. We can't wait to go back, everything was delicious including the Margaritas.

I would rate Sal-o-Mon with 10 stars! The food was amazingly delicious! I had the grilled salmon with veggies and rice. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection! Highly recommend the flavorful salmon plate! Also tried the red snapper and it was very tasty as well (but my salmon was even better, IMHO!) Also tried the margarita and the dessert that’s similar to flan (different name). Everything we had is made in house and was delicious! Service was exceptional and even a solo musician played lovely music.

I tried the garlic seasoned shrimp and it was exceptional! They do not fry anything. Other than that, the place is very clean and environment is charming. Everything was excellent!

The food is amazingly delicious, I really love this dish, the prime rib, the Salomon ceviche was out of the world. The only complaint I would have, and it’s typical in a lot of Mexican restaurants, is the drinks. I want a big cold Pepsi or coke from the fountain, they only served cans, I do imagine the wine is good choice for those who drink, however for non drinkers, the glass are small, the ice melts fast, the food is amazing. I will be back 100 percent.

Wonderful place! Visiting from New England and so happy to have found this authentic Mexican cuisine that we returned a second time. Enjoyed every delicious dish…fresh, quality, homemade. And for an even more enjoyable experience the waitstaff was especially friendly, warm and funny. Talented live guitarist one evening. A must visit restaurant!

I have never had better tortillas in my life. The tacos (shrimp and pork belly) were perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned. The restaurant is extremely cozy and comfortable to eat in. This is one of the best meals I've had in a long long time.

Absolutely fantastic. Don't let the retail location dissuade you. This is fine Mexican Cuisine, not TexMex, with an amazing selection of wines. Make sure you get the Pork Belly Appetizer. Delicious! The seafood is some of the best in town.

My family party of 7 (inc. kids) had a fantastic experience at Sal-O-Man Family Restaurant when we were visiting the New Braunfels area! The owners were present during our dinner and recommended amazing wine pairings with our (delicious!) authentic Mexican cuisine. The food was so so good (fajitas were on point!), and we felt so welcome by the owners. The new space is huge and beautifully decorated too. Can’t wait to return soon! Just AMAZING. I am currently pregnant and was craving breakfast tacos, we looked up local Mexican food restaurants but didn’t want to go to the same bland “taco house.” I ordered tacos and they did unfortunately let me know tacos aren’t on the menu, however the Owner himself graciously made an exception for me. I have to say absolutely the best!! The tortillas were 100% homemade and you could taste it. My husband had the Huevos Rancheros plate and it was absolutely stunning. He even said it was the best he has had! This is a place you must try if you are looking for authentic Mexican food and a locally owned restaurant!! Highly recommend! We will definitely be coming back…and soon.
