Great pizza! It came out quick and it was nice and hot. It had a great flavor and we'll def order again!

This is probably best as a take-out only place. We tried this for the first time last night and agree that the pizza was good, maybe even some of the better pie in town, but they’re not set up for dine-in or for hosting guests. *Three tables *no way to get water or refill a drink (Ice is behind the counter and requires the checker to put down her phone to refill) *full 30-minute wait for pizza *Salad (brought in prepackaged plastic box for twice the price of any other place in town) at the same time the pizza box was dropped on the table. (Salad was also not made as ordered.) *Styrofoam plates and plastic silverware rounded out our experience. Again, not an issue if you take out, but as a patron, it’s not a great experience. Listening to the checker chat on the company phone and/or play on her phone while someone is waiting to ask for a refill put a bad taste in our mouths. Good pizza, below average dining experience

This is our third attempt with this place and the results have been the same . Staff is great . Our pizza always seems overcooked and taste like it is frozen pizza out of the box. I would just give a 1 star, but the staff deserves another for their friendliness

This place is so delicious. The pizza rolls are some of the best we've ever had. I had the margherita pizza and it was delicious. Super friendly staff and it came out quickly.

Having traveled all over the US, Mattenga's is one of the best pizzas we've had! Outstanding customer service is just a bonus and if you have the opportunity to be served by Parker, you'll know! He's not only an obvious hustler in the kitchen but is quick to serve you as a customer! Can't recommend enough if you're in the area!

Wish I would have taken a picture of the food but the family was too quick eating it! Pizza was awesome... cooked perfectly. The Brisket Roll rocked. The pretzels were perfect. I ordered pick up and it was ready in 15 minutes and the staff was great. This is now my favorite pizza place in the area!

It's an order out place but the best in town without a doubt. Very friendly staff and wonderful food. The few times my food wasn't ready when they said it was, they were very apologetic and had it out within 5 or so minutes after. LOVE their pizza rolls with their homemade ranch dipping sauces. Go check it out!

We have been ordering takeout and delivery (hallelujah!) from Mattenga's since they opened this new location. We love the pizza crust and interesting varieties of toppings and combinations. We love the unusual dressings that they have available also! We have ordered pizza rolls, brisket rolls, calzones, pizza, salads, desserts-- we haven't had a bad meal yet. Service is always prompt and friendly. We are so thankful that Mattenga's delivers to us, since we are in Vintage Oaks and when we moved in October 2021 _not a single pizza place_ would deliver. Thank you, Mattenga's!

I tried out Mattenga's randomly and I have to say it was really good pizza. The only thing I would recommend to Mattenga's is you really need a better drink station. I would highly recommend if you happen to be craving pizza while you are out and about.

Stopped by the restaurant sometime last week. I was working around the area and decided to dine in to get out of the heat. I had a personal pizza w/ pepperoni and jalapeños, it's what I usually get. Pizza rolls are really good too, I still need to try the calzones. I've been by a few times and first visited back in February to have lunch with two of my nieces. They enjoyed it as well at the time. The food and service has always been great. Definitely recommend Mattenga's Pizzeria for their delicious food and service. I know I'll definitely be back... hopefully soon.

It was our 1st time there. The staff was super friendly, the pizza was good. The crust is not too thick and not too thin. The sauce is not overwhelming, and the toppings were great. Most importantly, I love their mission statement and how it glorifies God.

This was great pizza; very flavorful and high quality ingredients! The service was outstanding and friendly also. When they ran out of water cups they gave us bottled water free of charge. The owners are very friendly and present - holding doors open, delivering pizzas curbside, and making the dough alongside their staff. Wonderful people!

We ordered the calzone and pizza rolls with Texas ranch. Everything was amazing!! This is our new favorite pizza spot. Order was delivered hot, faster than expected and the delivery driver was very nice. They didn’t forget the extra ranch I ordered either.

The pizza was delish. Got the 14in. Pepperoni. Fed 3 of us with pieces to spare. Crust was lite and had some texture. Price was also good. Smiling staff even though they were super busy with in store and phone orders. I'll go back.

Fast and fantastic tasting pizza. We have several choices for good quality pizza near us but our go to is Mattenga's pizza. We have never been let down. Our favorite crust is the thin crust but both are excellent. Top quality toppings with great flavors. Add their fresh basil. Mmm mmm. You will not be disappointed.

Sunday around 5:30 pm. The young lady in the front was delightful and very professional. She was amazing with every customer that came in. Articulated herself very well. She was the reason for the experience being so great!! Even said bye when she left and got off of work. Pizza was solid Breadsticks pretty good. Few things to tighten up operational but overall solid. Love that its a Christian based business in town.

Ordered for the 1st time at the New Braunfels location. I placed my pizza on my weather tech mats on the floor of my vehicle. Takes me less than 5 minutes to arrive home. When I pulled the pizza box out of the car; GREASE WAS DRIPPING EVERYWHERE!! Opened the box when I got inside my home & it was floating in GREASE! Worst service I have ever seen. It went directly into my trash can!! Will NEVER GO BACK.

I usually go to the location on 3009 but I was close to the new Braunfels location so we came here for dinner. As always super fast service, friendly and customer focused. Erin was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable dinner. Including putting Moana on for my daughter. I love the pizza especially the crust here and will definitely be back.

This is best pizza I have had since moving to texas! Super friendly owners, quick delivery and they use the freshest ingredients. This was perfect for our football get together with family! The sauce was perfect. Sausage, pepperoni, veggies and bread for dipping was delicious. We will be back!

Great pizza had it delivered was here within a 1/2 hour. Pizza was still hot and Cesar salad was fresh. Highly recommend
