Stopped in the restaurant for lunch and I wasn't impressed. The menu was vast, but I was surprised to see that the Fish & Chip Platter is the most expensive item for lunch. Why? Of course, I asked the waitress why and her reply was "Well, this is an upscale restaurant" and that is all she said and rolled her eyes. Really, that was condescending! Dear Manager, please help the staff understand how to address your customers. So, I ordered the Fish & Chip Platter and it was nothing special to me. It was meaty and the spices was all in the breading (which I removed). The fries were good, but cole slaw was plain and needed something. Sorry, not worth $35 for lunch. As a new restaurant, you should be upfront with your customers and let them know there is a credit card fee (2%). I totally understand why, but at least let the customers be aware of it so they can make their own choice (cash or credit). I did give the waitress a 20% tip because I know folks are struggling, but I will not be back to this restaurant for lunch. No, thank you.

Delicious food and great service. We went for lunch and had a great time. The drinks are very good and the food is fresh and good. Their ice cream sandwich is to die for!! Big portions and can def have enough for the next day. The decor inside is done very well. Our waitress was really nice as well. Will def. Be back!

Top notch food quality and marvellous service! One wouldn’t guess there is such a jem in New Brunswick! If you happen to be around, that is your place! Dropped by spontaneously without a reservation given that it is just across the street (from Hyatt). Classy and very cosy atmosphere! Contemporary interior design with high ceilings and super spacy! Portions are humongous. Apetizers, main dishes, deserts - all very delicious! This restaurant deserves a 6 out of 5!

Exception food and service! Expensive but quality and quantity and definitely worth it! The only complaint was the air fresheners they were using began to disturb mine and my husband's sinuses as they were very strong, usually not a problem but was here. Would still go back but hopefully they addressed that!

My wife and I went here for our anniversary dinner. Everything, appetizers, drinks and main meal was great. Diffenitly recommend going here. Our host was the best. He went all out for us, including taking pics for us.

Parking is super convenient. They offer free parking across the street at the Hyatt. Service was great! Food was good. Atmosphere- loud AF!! Extremely crowded. Our party was a seated in the basement. But I couldn't take the closeness. Besides a shorter ceiling, no windows, we were packed in there! Luckily, they found a spot for us upstairs! Whew! They were very nice, and about 3 different staff members circled back to check on us. Christian, gave us a round of drinks because I was getting wet from a sweating pipe, in the basement. The food was good, but not great. The drinks were FaBULous! 🥳 We definitely will go back, but for a Happy Hour - not a weekend dinner.

My friends and I enjoyed our ladies night out. We all had different dishes from the lobster dumpling, calamari and cobb salad appetizers to the catfish special, shrimp, whole red snapper and salmon entrees. The food came out hot and each dish was delicious, this was our 2nd time at this restaurant and just like the first time we all enjoyed our meals. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable with dim lights. They have downstairs seating if you have a bigger party. Don't hesitate to try, you won't regret this choice, also your parking is validated if you park across street at the hotel!

We are not from NJ but took our sister there as a treat after a college visit, it was a spur of the moment thing. This was one of the best places for a reasonable price. With the exception of the spaghetti and clam having to much parsley everything else was amazing. The drinks are really good and the raw oyster and clams where amazing. The service is phenomenal our waiter went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We can’t wait to go back in a few weeks and take the rest of the family there.

The cocktail menu is impressive they have something for everyone. Employees were very nice our waiter was very accommodating when my friend didn’t like the drink she ordered. And please try the truffle pasta and scallops!! However I’m giving 3 stars because our appetizers took over 30 minutes, when our calamari reached the table it seemed over cooked as if it was sitting in the window for a while.

I've gone to Cuzin's twice now, and both times the food was impeccable, the ambiance is stunning. The only con that I can state is that it can be a bit loud. One of the visits was for a business lunch, so if anyone is hard of hearing, it can be a bit distracting. I have tried the shrimp risotto, which was garlicky and delicious, risotto is a favorite of mine. The coconut shrimp was perfect, something that tends to be a but disappointing at certain restaurants. The lobster Mac and Cheese was decadent and delicious, if anything, I would prefer a bit more of a cheesy flavor. I make my own Mac and Cheese often and am partial to it. On my last visit, I had the lobster ravioli, which was spectacular, it had huge chunks of lobster in it. My own personal preference is more of a pink or Vodka Sauce but again, it was still delicious. Also, the bread, butter, and 2 oils were delicious They have a full bar, which I did not take advantage of and an awesome raw bar. I am definitely looking forward to visiting again.

I visited this spot about a month ago and had the steak, brussel sprouts (amazing) and lobster Mac! Everything was great! Returned yesterday to take my son for a birthday dinner and again, they did not disappoint!! Our waitress was Caitlyn and she was amazing, very attentive and helpful with recommendations and suggestions. Atmosphere and food were great! Run, don’t walk!

love this place!! the food is amazing and fresh, great portions too. we tend to order a biiiit more than we can actually eat but it’s great to have some leftovers. service is great too - they check up on you when you need it and are not aggressively over accommodating 😅 our go tos are the fish and chips, lobster mac, and crab cakes (shown in photo)

Absolute hands down best party ever. The staff is amazingly attentive, super courteous, and they go above and beyond any party staff I have ever seen. We will definitely be investing in more memories here! An overall wonderful experience. The food was fantastic, served at exactly the right times and cooked to perfection. This place is a gem!

Incredible food and amazing service. Our server, Jake, was so helpful when it came to recommendations and had great energy. So happy we tried it here because we will definitely be back! The Mac and cheese was INSANE!! Recommend the strip steak.

One of the best restaurants in New Brunswick. No wonder it is always so crowded. But the price is totally worth it. Amazing presentation, polite and friendly service, and great food. A must have would be their warm bread pudding. The cocktails were good too. Overall a great experience.

New Brunswick is absolutely crazy on a Saturday night. Parking was tough to get now that is another popular restaurant on the George Street/Church Street block. We were seated right away and had to wait a bit for our party to find parking. Took a while for everyone to get settled but service was good and drinks came quicker than I thought (it was packed). The restaurant is VERY noisy. If you are looking for a quiet place to eat, this ain’t it, at least on a Saturday night. The food, however, was very good. I’ve been to Cuzin’s in Marlboro numerous times. New Brunswick had a similar menu and everything, from appetizers to dessert was excellent. I would definitely go back. But not on a weekend. It was just too much of a hassle and too loud to go at a busy time. I’d definitely return on a weekday or for lunch. Had a good time just getting old. Lol.

The food was not very impressive, especially for a $100 dinner. We ordered pasta, seafood salad, and fish. Pasta was very salty, fish was pretty mild. (I did like the grilled vegetables on the side) The salad was basically just a bunch of boiled seafood mixing with few veggies. The only sauce inside was lemon. I like the volume. But I felt there could have been more creativity from the chef? The service was also kind of off. After the bread, the waiter just gave us the salad without gathering the plates. I ordered the salad, but he just left the salad on my husband’s side. It didn’t occur to them that the table should be reorganized until we asked them to. There were things that were kind of impressive. The waitress are very good-looking with bright smile. The design of the restaurant is eye catching. But I probably won’t go there again.

We spent about $350 for my husband and myself which I have no problem with. The oysters were fresh and delicious. We ordered the fried calamari. It was a very chewy. The taste of the sauce was great but the calamari was over cooked or reheated. We asked for extra red sauce for the bread and we never received it. The clams casino, also chewy and more filling than clams. . My husband ordered the scallops. They were delicious, the flavor of the truffle was prevalent, the noodles had a great texture and the Alfredo sauce was delicious. I ordered the clam bake. Delicious but a bit oily. I told the waiter I wanted a glass of Chardonnay and he just brought me a glass without asking me which one I wanted. The cocktails were good but the choice of desserts were underwhelming. NYC prices without the quality of service. For seafood in New Brunswick I prefer Salt for the price level. I still gave 22% tip only because I care about the workers.

Seafood centered upscale casual dining option in New Brunswick ! This restaurant is perfect for birthdays, family events, and celebrations. We went to celebrate a birthday and the food was pretty good! You also get complimentary bread with several dips which are reallly great. Price is around 30$ per entree but the size of the plates are comparable. For a 5 person party on a birthday ran about $500 including tip (considering appetizers, entree, drinks, and the birthday sparkler). Service is also good, the servers are attentive and accommodating. Overall this is a good place to go if your celebrating with a group of people!

What can I say? Our experience was nothing short of EXTRAORDINARY!! I was meeting my buddy for lunch. The hostess greeted me warmly. I decided to have a drink at the bar while I waited for my guest. Joe from Staten Island gave me a hello like I was his long lost brother from the same mother! Things only got better from here! There is no doubt that I will go out of my way to visit my home away from home regularly! Park at The Hyatt and it is comped by Cuzin's. What more can you ask for? First Class start to finish!! God Bless Blue & Gold!! God Bless America!!

You are going to love Cuzin’s! Fresh seafood and really great drinks. I recommend the honey pear margarita. The atmosphere is super cool and casual with great music but not too loud to hear your own conversations. There was a virtual video screen at the bar which is fully stocked. If you’re celebrating a birthday, they bring out sparklers to your table. Almost everyone seemed to be celebrating!

Came here for a date Night and though the Vibe is nice and service was good the food was disappointing. The bread was great the coconut shrimp was Delish but the shrimp scampi was Not the scampi sauce reminded me of (shrimp and lobster sauce) same consistency with a hint of lemon. The calamari was a nice texture but lacked flavor, the marinara sauce was delicious. My husband had fish and chips. So he loved the steak fries but the fish had no flavor (Fish was nice and flaky) the crust was like a little hot pocket that enclosed the fish but slipped out once you bite into it (cut it). Though it was busy I really didn’t understand why. I like a little flavor in my food. Safe to say we probably won’t be returning but it is such a cute place.

Absolutely delicious food and drinks 10/10! Service could be better. My waitress wasn’t pleasant at all. I requested a corner table on a Tuesday at 4pm but I was told she was expecting more parties… while I was there not one person walked through the door. There was a total of 2 tables being serviced (including myself) Nonetheless, I’ll give them another try I just hope for a better service.

Simply amazing the food was made to perfection. The company was wonderful and our waiter Marcus was the best‼️ He is well informed and he knows the menu and can make recommendations to accommodate your taste. I had to make my presence know to Christian I will see how he responds to me next time around. I will definitely go back with my twin and a few other friends. Cuzins is a must go to spot‼️
