The
doctors
are
very
good
and
listens
patiently.
No
doubt
in
that.
But
the
staff,
infrastructure
and
services
are
horrible.
I
went
there
on
Thursday
for
ANC
consultation.
One
has
to
reach
the
Hospital
before
8am
in
the
morning
to
get
the
token
number.
When
we
reached
at
7:55am
and
waited
for
1hr....the
counter
opened
at
9:05.
Then
when
my
turn
came
at
9:30am..
and
I
showed
the
counter
person
my
CGHS
card...
I
was
asked
to
submit
the
cghs
card's
photocopy
and
to
present
one
photocopy
of
my
husband'
cghs
card.
When
I
told
the
person
that
here
is
my
card
and
I
am
in
service...then
why
would
you
need
husband's
card.
But
to
no
respite.
I
dont
know
why
they
had
to
pester
me.
Well
past
this...
I
was
asked
to
go
to
3
different
rooms
before
going
to
the
doctor's
room.
I
had
to
submit
samples
for
the
hiv
test
and
urine
test..
I
told
them
that
I
have
had
both
the
tests
done
last
week
only..but
they
refused
to
accept
my
plea..
and
literrally
refused
to
move
my
file
further.
There
is
literally
no
facility
for
the
urine
sample
submission....
The
container
they
give
has
no
cap
on
it..it
is
an
open
tiny
glass
wet
container.
There
are
only
2
toilets
(one
western
and
one
squat
toilet)
which
are
in
horrible
condition
and
have
not
been
cleaned
since
ages.
The
smell
is
so
bad
that
it
will
make
you
vomit.
And
there
is
no
soap/sanitiser
available.
Just
plain
water
that
too
from
a
running
tap.
This
is
complete
torture
on
the
visiting
patients.
Then
finally
when
you
take
ur
urine
sample
to
the
lab
they
just
dip
a
ph
strip
in
it
and
ask
you
to
empty
the
glass
container
in
the
toilet
and
put
it
in
a
big
steel
bowl
which
is
kept
at
one
side
in
the
lab.
Again
I
dont
know
how
the
patients
manage
without
soaps
and
sanitisers.
So
poor
level
of
hygiene
at
the
CGHS
maternity
hospital....shocking.
The
unhygienic
conditions
may
lead
to
many
diseases
like
uti
and
e.coli
infection
among
the
patients
and
their
companions.
Further
rushing
to
other
rooms
to
give
the
blood
test
and
bp
check.
Then
finally
reached
at
the
waiting
area
outside
room
no.
15
to
finally
see
the
doctor.
The
waiting
area
is
marred
by
lack
of
proper
chairs,
lack
of
cooler
or
fans,
no
drinkingwater
availability
etc.
Plus
the
area
gets
the
hot
air
coming
from
two
AC's
exhaust
fans
that
adds
up
to
the
heat
faced
by
waiting
patients.
So
basically
in
scorching
heat,
the
patients
were
left
to
fend
for
themselves.
Finally
when
your
turn
comes...
the
doctors
though
highly
experienced,
refuse
to
give
you
referral.
I
have
never
had
such
tormenting
experience.
Further,
despite
going
through
such
a
terrible
time,
the
cghs
will
get
you
17k
in
case
of
normal
delivery
that
too
from
empannelled
hospital.
I
dont
know
why
we
govt
employees
are
made
to
sign
up
for
this.
I
literally
was
missing
from
my
office
from
8
am
to
12:30
pm.
I
feel
like
I
donate
the
cghs
amount
to
the
govt
every
month
cuz
I
do
not
have
the
courage
to
visit
the
centre
anymore.
I
pray
and
hope
that
I
never
have
to.
Hats
off
to
all
the
females
who
go
there.
