A beautiful space that is used far below it's potential as a place to relax and unplug. The park has a beautiful gazebo, soldiers' memorials (The Cenopag) and a large greenspsce that spans a large enough area for picnics behind the gazebo, games of catch, frizbee, you name it. Take time to unwind and read a book while you take in the sights of the East River and runners on the near-by Sampson Trail.

Got a pic of my Grandfather standing there in his new uniform before he shipped off to war. Alot of this communities memories happened there. It's a special place.

Beautiful spot for taking pictures, flowers all over, memorial for soldiers, great place to get married, has a great spot for seating, very cozy spot.

Carmichael Park is a cute little park but does not utilise the fact it is close to water. Park is always empty, no place to park no place to really hang out throw a ball or frisbee. New Glasgow needs a larger park where they can have functions and room for people to do things. Sometimes people just want to sit, throw a ball or something. New Glasgow has a river down the middle of it, utilise that. Victoria Park in pei is a perfect example of a park ready for use.

A nice riverside park in the heart of New Glasgow. A beautiful gazebo and soldiers memorial. A great place to relax under the shade of the tall trees on a hot day and listen to the sounds of nature. This is a very well maintained park, kudos to the Town of New Glasgow!
