Great ambience. Cozy spot that would be great for a nice lounge with friends. They have some tasty signature pastries with complex flavours and great attention to detail. I applaud their technique in presenting tasty bites with bursts of flavour. Big up to the Deaf Can Coffee Baristas. The coffee beverages are excellent!

Danya's is a breath of fresh air in Downtown, Kingston. This quaint coffee shop has some very tasty and really interesting menu items. You can either get your items to go, or dine in if it's not too crowded. All COVID-19 protocols are in effect. Really lovely space, loved it and the staff is awesome.

Really nice experience from being greeted courteously by "management" taking our orders to the visually pleasing easthetics. 😊 Of mention is the loooooong list of meals, pastries and beverage. The option to dine-in was enticing given the comfortable space with a view facing traffic and the Kingston Harbour. This will have to wait for the next visit and should be fun. Kudos to the ultra-pleasant team of employees. It was delightful to interact with team members from deafcan.

One the most delightful coffee shops I’ve been to. So cozy and welcoming in downtown. They have so much options from coffee, smoothies, food and homemade pastries, so there is literally something for everyone. What makes it so special is that their baristas are the super talented youths from Deaf Can who knows their coffee. After dining take a 7 min stroll to the pier for an amazing view.

Amazing food, environment and service!

The cafe was an overall pleasing experience, embodying the essence of what a good cafe should be. The decor had a rustic charm, with muted yet pleasant elements. Quaint personal touches, like the piano, used books, and warm lamps, created an inviting atmosphere. I particularly admired the navy blue ceiling with red piping, which complemented the marine backdrop of the nearby harbor on Harbour Street. It felt like a cozy and tranquil place. I appreciated the unique touch of the pull-down menu paper roll; it was a clever and cute way to provide a fresh canvas for new menus periodically. My egg and bacon bagel was expertly prepared, with eggs that were light and fluffy and a perfectly toasted bagel. The cafe maintained cleanliness, and the restroom had a pleasant aroma. Overall, this cafe offers an enjoyable experience with few to no barriers to one's enjoyment. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quick and delightful breakfast.

It's a lovely little bar, their lemon poppy pound cake I loveee. I'm also a fan of their turkey club, I've tried the ackee sandwich, and it's nice, but it has quite a kick. So if you like spicy, you can definitely try it. If you don't and still want to try, prepare for heat.

I had the Smoked Marlin Bagel with Chai Latte. It was so tasty! Fresh ingredients, everything tied in so well.. from the Capers to the Everything Bagel and the Pepper Jelly to top everything off. Not to mention the Chai Latte was amazing and at the perfect temperature for drinking. Great ambiance, pleasant and quick service. Im definately coming back to try more of the items on the menu 😉

After multiple visits with exceptional service, I’ve decided to write a review. Great service should always be praised. That being said, ME? Naah give Danya’s Coffee Barrel bun. I will always come back. Curb side pickup is seamless, the coffee and food is good and the staff is top tier. I come for the coffee but I stay because the staff never makes me feel like a bother. Cant wait to sample the rest of the menu. 10/10 would recommend.

Awesome food with great service and personable staff

As a first time customer, I purchased their Thanksgiving meal yesterday and we were extremely pleased with it. It tasted like an authentic home made meal plus the sorrel was just right! Not to mention the boston cream pie which is ny favorite dessert! Will definitely be back.

A great place to take a load off, eat real food and have a delicious hot or cold beverage. My newest love is the oat milk chai latte. The BLT is loaded with the “B”. I have my favourite seating spot and I love the personal touch that the manager Bri Ho puts out by hand writing the menu on a roll of brown paper each day. I also love the fact that they partner with the Deaf Society by hiring deaf baristas. I stop by each time I’m heading to the airport at NMIA. I leave Kingston with DCB as a lady memory💕

I love, love this nice, cozy cafe in downtown Kingston. My go to on the menu is a Chai Latte + Pork Tenderloin on Brioche! Get yourself a jar of that pepper jelly!

Best coffee place in Downtown Kingston and one of the best to eat indoor (though there are few tables) or take away. They have a varied menu, which includes some fine salads (like one with smoked marlin). Nice view to the sea and the airport on the horizon.

Gezzzzz!!!!! 1000/10!!! The prices are soo reasonable! my all time fav perk is that they have @deafcancoffee barista's I love businesses that employs EVERYONE, because EVERYONE CAN. My experience was absolutely amazing, the space is so cozy and warm. What is a Starbucks? Danya's have my money locked from now on! They also offer curbside pick up so you can order ahead & grab on the go & I love that because i am busy sometimes & cant really stop so i'm defo sold! Great job Danya's!

Food was really nice & it opening that early was a life saver. Nice staff & environment. Reminded me of early morning dining in England with my father. Try the French toast won’t regret ;)

Service was excellent and the food was delicious. They do have a good coffee. However I had to drive around the block twice just to find parking. Breakfast was a great regardless!

The Chai Latte is really an amazing option if you're not feeling for coffee that day and omg the Smoked Salmon Bagel the flavours come together so nicely with the crisp, fresh vegetables.

Danya's Coffee Barrel is a unique niche cafe. Upon entry you receive warm customer service from the owner, suddenly feeling at home in a personalized environment. Interesting menu items are offered from tasty coffee beverages to deeply flavoured lunches. My favorite so far is the Pork Tenderloin on Brioche complimented with a Strawberry Lemonade.
