Visiting the home of Lucy M Montgomery is a treat, particularly those who are fans of this author. The home is filled with a lot of personal belongings as well as period related items. A few of her original books are there. And there is some interesting history as well. Of course a small gift shop in the entry.

Interesting place for die-hard L.M. Montgomery fans, but is quite small. On the bright side, if you don't have much time, this can be a pretty quick stop as you explore PEI. Maude was born there but didn't actually live there for much of her life. Cute little house and good price (under $5 per person) for the tour and the host gives a bit of history about L.M. Montgomery.

Ok so if your a huge fan of L.M there are some interesting rooms. Not for the Anne fan. Cost was low tour took about 5 to 10 min. And the staff was friendly. Wish there were more to see.

Full disclosure - I only peaked inside. The building itself is pretty small, and I couldn't justify the cost personally, although I know it's right for other. I would suggest stopping in.

Small house with typical period furnishings. Sign in upstairs "master bedroom " says she was borne in this room. Good to visit here for those wanting a complete view of her life.

See where the author was born. Quaint and full of information about the location and upbringing of the author. Minimal admission. If you buy the ticket package to the show, you can add admission of this place and the museum to it. Otherwise, just pay separately.

So much betteer than the museum. A little understaffed, but the people do care so much about LM's history and are very enthusiastic and personal. Price is not bad, totally worth it. So interesting

Was above authentic experience. Did feel like commercialized trap. The people that worked there were very knowledgeable and friendly, made you feel connected to the history on display. You didn't feel like they were trying to sell you Anne merchandise it was about the experience and in my opinion earns them the 5 stars.

I just stopped for a picture. It was pouring with rain. But would be interesting stop for anyone into the books or the Anne of Green Gables characters.

Unfortunately we didn't get here in time to go inside on a weekend. But the property itself although small was very cute. The surrounding area was also scenic and I was happy to have stopped here nonetheless.

Historic home. By the road. Never imagined that one day I would visit this place and become part of great history.

Just saw it from the outside since I had 2 little children with me and would've had to pay. Saved money for the museum down the road.

Found it very strange that Lucy Maud never really lived in this house (I think she left when she was only 2-3 years old?) and yet it’s still a busy tourist attraction on the Anne of GG circuit. It’s just an old house that she never would have really remembered. Anyway, if you have to see it then OK. It only takes about 5 mins to walk around and the lady gave a nice intro on Lucy’s life if you’re interested in that sort of thing.

Due to time restraints we weren't able to go in to the home but took exterior pictures.

Located at the intersection in New London, the birthplace home is a very small house on a small lot but there is a sizeable parking lot adjacent. The staff are well informed. Down the hill is a small fishing port and an oyster nursery site. The Kindred Spirit shop adjacent is not a not of the birthplace site.

The employees were very informative and clearly very passionate about sharing the interesting details of L.M Montgomery's life. The Museum was full of interesting artifacts and was well worth stopping in to!

What a sweet surprise. This one is nice to visit. There is even a craft shop with coffee next to it. Very few people around. There are so many other Anne of Green Gables sites to visit around the island.
