First night in PEI! Our flight from Toronto was delayed by two hours and the restaurant we initially wanted to go to for dinner was already closed by the time we got in the island. Drove almost half an hour to get to Sou’West, one of the few open after 8pm. We were promptly taken to our seats but had to wait for 10-15 minutes before someone came to take our orders. It was just a bit frustrating because most of the servers were just chatting with customers in other tables while we were unattended. The food, however, is amazing. The seafood pasta ($26) and seafood bubbly ($29) are both delicious. Very buttery and creamy! :) the large oysters are $3.50 and are worth it.

Oh wow was the food here amazing. I normally don't eat lobster, but the lobster sandwich was incredible! The atmosphere was fun, my cocktail was a summer special..amazing!! But dessert..strawberry shortcake on a tea biscuit blew my mind. So good we are booked for tonight again! Service was amazing!

Incredible and so Delicious. The chowder and the lobster roll were some of the best I've ever had. I have been craving one since I left PEI. I can't wait to go back!

Absolutely amazing. Sit on the patio if you can, food was delicious and the drinks were amazing. Lots of local beer options to try - so get a flight. Perfect atmosphere for a drink or dinner.

Delicious food and great service. We shared a lobster roll and fish tacos. Both were incredible along with the fingerling potatoes and French fried. Had a Caesar (with the bacon wrapped scallop) and partner had a beer. Both hit the spot and were very enjoyable as we looked out over the river.

This restaurant is a great place to eat! It has a large deck outside overlooking the harbor with ample outdoor seating. The atmosphere and views in and around Sou'West really make this spot an ideal place to eat in this area. We both had the raw oysters as appetizers, which were fresh and delicious. As a main, my wife had the fish and chips, and I had the fish tacos. The service was excellent.

this was lobster roll number four of seven on this trip and probably my least favourite. not as generous with the lobster and lacked fresh flavours. The bun was definitely “meh” My partner loved the fish tacos. 4/5 for those! Staff and restaurant itself were lovely.

Food was good. Atmosphere on the deck facing the water was great. Steak sandwich was nice although I expected a more "BBQ style" steak. Still it was good.

Food is delicious. Fries hot and crispy. Same for coconut shrimp. Fish tacos very tasty , fish hot and crisp.Chowder full of seafood. Wait staff friendly and service good. We are here 4 times on our PEI trip. Deck view lovely.

This is the first restaurant we tried at PEI. We ordered various of items recommended by the staff and they all tasted good. Among them, the oysters and lobster dinner were our favorite. We’ve never had cold lobster before, so we ordered one warm and one cold lobster dinner to compare, we preferred the cold one. It definitely had more flavor. The oysters were the best we had tried so far, so fresh and tasty. Overall a great restaurant, would recommend.

Arrived mid day, so mid between lunch and supper hours. I had the pan fried Haddock with a side of seafood chowder, my friend had the Fish and chips with a side of the chowder. Both my Haddock and fish bredding from her order were soft, not crisp as it should have been had it been just made. My Haddock was overcooked and dry and totally unappealing. (I left a good portion on my plate) it was almost like it was made much earlier and kept on a heating element. The chowder I felt had a taste of canned milk which I did not like, and the bits of seafood were flavorless. Hugely disappointed in this meal. Especially for the cost. We have been traveling all over the island and had many an excellent meal coast to coast. I would not recommend this restaurant for the food.

Stopped by for dinner tonight, wasn’t really expecting much from the bar look from the road. The food was good , not great .Our waitress was attentive and very friendly. We enjoy talking to the waitresses and waiters in the stops we make. The personal touches Jeannette made like bringing extra tartar sauce and watching for when we need a beer top up without asking goes along way. There were many younger servers and staff standing around that could really learn from Jeanette’s skills .Thank you for your kind attention to our night in New London!

The best restaurant in our 4 day trip here PEI . The lobster rolls are to die for. It beats the surrounding lobster rolls. Love the scenery too. It's a pity to fly away at night. If there is a store like this in Toronto. I'm going to have a lobster roll every week.

The bad ********* Kid's mac and cheese is very bland. I make better at home. Strawberry shortcake looks delicious, but was very disappointing to the point you don't even want to eat it, the biscuit ruins the dish (wrong biscuit). I should have returned it. The Good *********** Fish tacos were delicious Bubbly was delicious Cheesecake was delicious Local beer was very good and cold. Service was good and they were having a bad day (missing staff). I have no issue recommending this restaurant.

We came across this place by chance just to grab a snack and some oysters and we ended up staying for a couple of hours, canceling our dinner in Charlottetown and ordering almost 4 dozens of oysters and a couple of lobster rolls. The oysters were the freshest and one of the best oysters we’ve ever had from PEI. The lobsters rolls were 10/10. So fresh, tasty and just perfect. Even the FRIES which are like the most basic side dish were so perfect. I know they’re not house-made but their supplier and how they fried them, were just spot on. I’m so happy we got to eat our last meal in PEI in their place. Hoping to come back soon!

We really enjoyed this restaurant! The service, the food, the view… everything was very good. My kids ordered fish and chips, it was crispy and delicious. Me and my husband had lobster chowder, that was really nice. The best part was the mussels. Really fresh and delicious :) unfortunately, I ordered a strawberry shortcake. It was terrible. I should have stopped at the seafood, that was 5 stars. Definitely I would be back at this restaurant (but never would order this dessert again).

We met a couple at our campground that highly recommended this restaurant. They were spot - on!! Loved this restauran! We ate outside, on the front deck as we had our dog with us. They were totally fine with that! Terrific menu, great prices , awesome service.

Fish tacos were amazing, fish cooked to perfection and all the flavours well balanced. Excellent drink menu, the loaded ceasar was great. Inside and outside seating available, the view on the back deck was absolutely beautiful (if you can handle the flies). Service was exceptional, very friendly and attentive.

Love, love, love this restaurant! One of my favorite places to eat while visiting PEI. I especially love eating outside by the water on their deck. Food is delicious and staff are so friendly and kind. Thank you!
