Luna de Papel is an amazing art experience! The space is beautiful and there are so many creative options. The teachers and the owner, Ruth, are engaging and knowledgeable; my daughter LOVES her classes here. This place is an absolute gem. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Ok, I love this woman owned after school/day camp/summer camp! Luna de Papel is the place I want to go every day! Ruth is amazing! She’s very knowledgeable about all things craft. If you have a crafty child, they will love it! The program is broken up by different crafts per week: painting, knitting/crochet, weaving/felting, and 1 more that I cannot recall. And, There’s a reading area with great books to keep them occupied in another way (other than crafting) for end of day wind down. There are so many great things to say about Ruth & her camp especially it’s so clean & organized! Ruth is open, friendly, and so is her staff.

My kids love this place! They have been going for a year now. Ruth is caring and devoted to her work, and it shows! The art projects are fund and well thought out. My girls still play with the shark they made last week. The space is huge compared to many places in Manhattan and downtown JC, which allows the kids to move around. Ruth has lots of games and a slide to keep my little ones occupied while doing arts and crafts. I also go there for adult crafting classes.

Luna de Papel is an incredible place for children and families. Ruth is such a kind-hearted person and teacher who believes in the community as well as art education for all. Her crafts are so fun and unique and her birthday parties are out of this world. She also hosts great after hour events for adults.

Absolutely wonderful! Our 4 year-old has been doing day camp during school break. He loves Ruth and comes home with fantastic art projects every day.

I scheduled a craft and sip for my mom and I at Luna de Papel and it was worth every penny! Ruth was so helpful while booking, giving us multiple options of crafts to choose from. Ruth welcoming us into her charming studio and helped us create beautiful Christmas ornaments. We had so much fun drinking wine, chatting and crafting. I highly recommend this for a fun girls night!

We recently celebrated my son's 6th birthday at Luna de Papel and couldn't have been happier — Ruth was communicative and clear when it came to planning, and extremely accommodating. We requested a "Diwali" theme and even though she hadn't planned a party with this theme before, she was super resourceful and thoughtful. The final product was a beautifully decorated event that flowed really well, complete with crafts that kept our group of kids engaged! Thank you, Ruth!

My 2 years old son Love Luna De Papel , this place is amazing and very welcoming children , this is one of the best creative art classes at Jersey City , her craft work are beautiful and fun, even as a mommy I had great time. Ruth she is very warm and nice with children , what can say more, there is no worries leaving your child at Luna De Papel ! Very safe place. Highly recommended!

We hosted my daughter’s 3rd birthday party here, with kids ranging from 2 to 7. I can’t say enough about how amazing Ruth is and how lovely this business is. Her staff is as wonderful as she is. The children were so engaged with the activities and everyone, including adults, had the best time. Parking nearby was super easy for all, the space was perfectly sized, and they set up so beautifully for our custom theme. We’ll be back for sure.
