Very cute place. The view is amazing! Outside of the screaming child at the table over we had a great time! The calamari and salmon was a little salty but overall everything was very good including the cider and autumn punch. The sushi is made very fresh right near the tables. This would be a great place for a wedding reception or a group date night. Just check out that view!

We ordered an appetizer and when we were about to eat it saw mold on the bread! We showed the manager and all he did was grab the piece of bread with the mold and proceeded to walk away. So we said, we will not be eating this. He said sorry, then walked away with the plate. We were already disappointed at this point but tried not to let it ruin the wonderful date we had planned. Then cake the bill and they still included that appetizer with the mold that we did NOT eat to the bill! When we complained they just took it out. We felt very UNWELCOME and hate to say this but felt we were treated this way because of our race. We WILL NOT be coming back because of this manager & the mean treatment we received today. We took a pic for the bread with the mold. We cannot believe this experience so be restaurant does not check what they put on their customers plates and when called out for it does not take any action to replace the dish or even offer any compensation. It is ridiculous!!

The view from this place is second to none in Jersey!! Parking gets validated after your meal Make sure to come early to be able to walk the park which closes at 10 Food was great, service was very nice and location is phenomenal. Views of downtown Manhattan with private cabanas available. Easiest to book through open table to make sure you can get a seat on the weekends. Having the manager come by asking how things were elevated our experience and made us feel like VIPS. Definitely a spot I will return to

This restaurant is definitely a 5 star! From the venue, to the location, to the ambiance and the staff- you will feel like you deserve it all! It is amazingly beautiful in here and recommended for a date night, a celebration, a girls night out, Just Make it here! This place won't disappoint! Dress, sexy, elegant, pretty and come ready to take pictures- there are views for days! Prices aren't bad and everything on the menu taste spectacular. I LOVE it here! Went for the first time to celebrate my birthday and I will be back soon. Recommended over and over!!!!!!

We have dined at Liberty House a few times and have been delighted by our experience. The food is great, the ambience is fantastic, you get fantastic views of the Manhattan skyline, and the service is among the most hospitable I have ever experienced in the Tri State Area. We enjoyed the Brussels Sprouts, the Pan Seared Citrus Gulf Shrimp, the Roasted Local Chicken, and the Branzino fillet. All the dishes were plated to perfection and were delicious! Special shout-out to Tony and Brandon who were exceptional servers and made the experience truly outstanding. Highly, highly recommend!

Great place to visit! The server were very kind and friendly. He recommended the special menu which was wagyu burger and it was fantastic. Salad was very fresh and the dressing was perfect. Bison hangar steak had very strong beef flavor. For the swordfish, me and my friends enjoyed it, but couldn’t tell the difference with other fish dishes. The interior was very nice, and enjoyed the time at the restaurant.

Went to a Bat Mitzvah as this amazing venue. Of all the views in the world, you couldn’t ask for one much better. The perfect weather certainly helped but the service and good were also excellent. Had a lovely time at the Liberty House and would definitely consider going back for a lunch or dinner, no need for an event. Really fantastic and will most definitely try again.

First time dining with this place. The waitress was not very attentive. We ordered a bunch of appetizers; the pork belly, oyster Rockafella, some spinach dip/spread and a sushi roll. I noticed after we left we never got the Oysters. Hopefully it was not on the bill. I drank a Macallen Scotch on the rocks. She never asked if I wanted a refill after my drink was finished. We dined for a few hours. I shared the 32oz Porterhouse with my date and they barley sliced the steak up for sharing. The butter that was meant to melt on top was added after the steak cooled so the butter was solid on top of the steak not melted. I would expect better from a $300+ dinner. It has nice views outside overlooking NYC but the interior looks like a typical bar. I wouldn’t return.

We visited Liberty House to celebrate my husband's birthday and we were blown away by not only the views but also the service! Upon entry, we were greeted by the hostess and seated promptly. She accommodated us with seating that had a nice view of NYC. We ordered East & West Coast oysters which were briny and salty, YUM! Also, Calamari as a starter which was crispy, flavorful and light! For the entree we shared the 36oz Porterhouse with 3 sides (Pomme Aligot, Crispy Brussel Sprouts and Mushrooms) I would skip the Mushrooms but the Pomme Aligot and the Brussel Sprouts were SO GOOD! We had to order seconds! The Porterhouse was tender and it was sooo much! We had leftovers. While we waited for the HUGE steak to be ready, we walked the grounds in the back. There was a life sized chess board that we played on. We took pictures as the sun set and our son had lots of space in the garden to run around. If it gets cool, you can warm up next to the outdoor open fire table. When dinner was through and we were ready to leave, we were surprised with a fireworks display in the back. It was amazing! Perfect way to end the evening!

Liberty House Restaurant & Events is an enchanting hidden gem nestled amidst a serene park. Perfect for a leisurely stroll before diving into a delightful dining experience. Our visit was memorable, with a well-crafted meal that satiated our palates. Given their diverse roster of events, I can imagine each visit offers a unique encounter. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and found the venue captivating. The combination of beautiful surroundings and appealing food makes it a must-visit spot that we wholeheartedly recommend.

I've wanted to go here for quite some time. My husband made reservations & we were seated immediately upon arrival. Our waitor Brandon was AMAZING! The ambiance was nice, we wanted to sit outside. However, the weather was unstable. The views of the city are stunning. I can only imagine what it looks like at night. The food was absolutely delicious. I really didn't take many pictures of the meals, as we were busy enjoying the moment. The drinks were also tasty. The only thing is the bathroom needed to be cleaned up, it was a bit messy. Not filthy only messy. Still won't change my 10 out 10. We will definitely be back.

Birthday dinner for my wife. Location was great. Really busy with weddings to the side rooms. Had a table reserved with nice view. Little on expensive side but it was a nice treat and we all enjoyed the outside bar after dinner.

The weather cooperated to accommodate us for outdoor seating with spectacular views of Manhattan and the Freedom Tower gracing the skyline. Our host Brandon was very attentive, kept the drinks flowing and made sure our orders were prepared right. The food was tasty, tender and terrific (see for yourself). Too stuffed for desert so I’ll be back.

Love this place for the staff and it’s views. Been here for a few events and everyone is very accommodating, from ceremony to reception, nothing is skipped and everything is detailed. This place can be a bit pricey for a venue but worth it for the pictures, view and with baseline production entertainment since they know exactly How to get the party started from beginning to end.

Love Liberty House! Great food, drinks and View (NYC)!! Indoor & outdoor seating. Their outdoor seating in warm weather is wonderful... including firepits and an outdoor bar. (Usually a wedding or two happening - can be noisy.) Enjoy!

I have Never left a review on a restaurant! Not because I haven’t been to some amazing ones but it’s not something I have the habit of doing. Anyways Liberty house was Incredible!! I went for a birthday with a reserved time and got right in! The view from the back deck seating area is AMAZING!!! The food was spectacular and timely! And above all Ronaldo the waiter was the BEST waiter I have ever had! Helpful, kind, attentive and went above and beyond! GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE! He made sure my night with my partner was impeccable and it was nothing short of that. So much so I had to come write a review. Pay this place a visit you will not be disappointed! Ronaldo thank you again!

I went there with a group of people to celebrate last night. It was a Saturday night and I had a reservation for 7:30 or 6 people. Unfortunately the tables were running behind and we didn't end up getting our table until about 8:10. And let me tell you something, they could not have been more accommodating. They were so unbelievably apologetic and nice to us about it. I completely understand that a place like this gets busy but luckily we had planned to be out for the night so we sat by the bar. We went outside. We took some pictures and we waited it out. It was well worth the wait. The manager and the captain were unbelievable to us. Because of that I will be returning here many times. The food was outstanding. The fried calamari and the Italian meatballs were some of the best they've ever had. We all order drinks, appetizers, dinner and dessert and everything was unbelievable. Thank you guys again so much for making the night memorable.

My husband and I held our wedding at Liberty House and it was the best decision we could have made! Working with Casey was wonderful, she is so on top of things but at the same time so calm, which is a great and rare combination. The whole staff was friendly and went above and beyond, the space was gorgeous, the food was delicious and they were able to accommodate many dietary restrictions. All of our guests commented on how great the venue and staff were, and they loved taking pictures with the NYC skyline too :)

Thank you, Liberty House, for a wonderful dining experience while my girlfriend and I celebrated our first anniversary! Our server Brandon was extremely kind and really helped us feel special. Shoutout to Daniel as well for his hospitality. We really appreciate the effort from the whole staff. Looking forward to coming back again!

The scenic backdrop and the importance of the location aside, the folks at this establishment and physical plant make it a wonderful venue. Excellent food, service and presentation combined with an iconic location make this a bucket list event spot.

I highly recommend dining at the Liberty House. We celebrated my daughter’s engagement at the Maddie Rose restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere spectacular! We can’t wait to go back.

I've been here before for events, and had no complaints. The service was impeccable and the food and drinks were delicious. So when I brought my mother to the park to enjoy the last day of summer here in New Jersey, I thought we could get a drink and enjoy the sunset before we headed home. We ended up sitting at the bar and whiling away 3+ hours, in large part due to the wonderful service from the bar staff. I want to single out Henry (photo below) and Joel in particular. They were both very solicitous and kind, and made it a wonderful experience for my Mom in particular. The food and drinks were great - the espresso dreams tower was a particular treat if you're in the mood for fun - but it was the great service that elevated this above other restaurants I've frequented in the area. I would definitely come again, and bring company.

One of my favorite restaurants in the world. Food was absolutely incredible. Whenever I go here, I order the tomahawk steak to share with a colleague of mine and they never disappoint. Nothing can be the views of this restaurant as you see the New York skyline. And the vibes and aesthetics of the restaurant are amazing. Your experience will be incomplete without taking your beverage or your peers outdoors, and continue the conversation while looking at New York. The service is impeccable, and whatever server or bartender we are blessed with always is attentive to detail without being over bearing. Whenever I am Jersey City, I always love to see if I can grab a meal here and I recommend that you do too.

Spectacular views of downtown NYC and great ambience at the Liberty House! Great food and professional wait staff. Shout out to Rolando who quickly rebounded from an undercook duck (didn’t ask what term we’d like the duck cooked). He made up by treating us to cocktails on the house. ✨👌🏽

I could not recommend this place enough! I came here for my anniversary and everything about it was amazing. Our waiter Pablo was so nice and timely with our meal. The food itself was incredible along with the view and they made sure to give us complimentary champagne and customize our menus “happy anniversary” to make it such a special day. I will definetly be coming back!

Our first time at Liberty House was for the special thanksgiving menu. It's beautiful with lots of places to take pictures. We loved the food and the artistic cocktails. Great place to celebrate an occasion.

Decided to have brunch since we stayed overnight in Weehawkin. What a beautiful restaurant with fantastic NYC views. The food was delicious and the waiter Brandon and manager Carlo were extremely professional and accommodating. I was so impressed that contacted my nephew immediately to check this place out for his upcoming wedding! Will definitely be back!

An uneven experience but it has potential. The appetizers, seafood salad and octopus mosaic, were outstanding. My entree, crispy salmon, was very tasty but the accouterments were lacking in quantity. Our second entree, the sword fish was disappointing, dry, bland, and also lacking. Unfortunately they were so busy our waiter was not able to return in a timely manner so we simply sent it back and had dessert which they comped. July 4th was probably not a good day to return here. We had a outstanding view of the skyline from our table.

Went here for an event and the food did not disappoint. The gorgeous view outside makes this place a must for special events as you can clearly see the city skyline. They also validated parking which is available in front of the restaurant.

A beautiful place on the water with an amazing view of the city! We were greeted and taken cared of as soon as we walked in. From the first person that helped us, to the last..The service was spot on! I always appreciate a restaurant who’s staff are smiling. To top it off the food was amazing! We enjoyed every plate brought to our table. The best food we’ve had on our trip!

Excellent service. Food is fine. You come here for the atmosphere and the views, they can't be beat. Weather was perfect. We ordered the Halibut, Salmon, and Flatiron steak. Started with the Jumbo Shirmo & Crab Cakes. Everything was delicious. Finished off the evening with the Flourless chocolate cake and homemade sorbet was a perfect end to the meal.

Food was great and out waiter Xavier was awesome. He was very detailed and all recommended drinks and meals were on point. The only concern I had was that I requested a table with view via my reservation. The hostess indicated that the tables that were open accommodate larger groups more then 4. During dinner we noticed that several tables with the view had either 4 people or less. It was very odd. We did mention it to the staff so the understand our concerns. Over all our experience was great but due to the issue with the table I didn't give it a 5 star, but Xavier himself recieves a 5 star 🌟 .
