My partner and I had such a pleasant experience for an otherwise traumatic situation. Early Options offers a very private and personal experience. I was searching for an option where my partner could be present with me during the whole procedure. At most clinics, you have to go under anesthesia and no one else can be present or the other option is the pill which felt scary to me. I'm so grateful I stumbled upon this clinic. Dr Fleischman was so kind to both my partner, answered any any all questions we had and I really trusted the entire team to give me the best care possible. I won't lie, the procedure was painful but they really make you as comfortable as possible - after, they let me stay as long as I needed to: to feel my feels, to feel less nauseous etc. They gave me snacks and gingerale and I felt good-to-go within 30 minutes after the procedure. That evening I went home and attended a music festival that weekend! The next few weeks I was able to call the clinic with any questions I had about after care and how my body may react and everyone was so kind. I really can't express enough how great our experience was (considering). I am so grateful the MVA procedure was accessible to me and I hope in the future it can be accessible to so many others.

The care and privacy I received in this clinic was amazing. I could not have asked for better abortion care. When I found myself pregnant (as a young woman) I went down a spiral of guilt, negativity and of course google searches about my options and procedures. I was bracing myself for a horrible experience. The moment I walked in the clinic I was greeted by calm, warm women who led me to a private room and gave me all the time I needed to prepare. Dr. Joan came in and talked to me about my options and answered all the questions I had for her. I ended up choosing their SoftTouch procedure which really earns its name. During the procedure Madeline (Dr. Joan's assistant) held my hand the entire time and wiped my nervous tears. I was expecting to experience a lot of pain during the procedure, but I was incredibly shocked when Dr. Joan (after what felt way less than 5 minutes) said the procedure was done and I hadn't experienced any pain that I haven't experienced during my period before. I even asked "Already?" and immediately felt a sense of relief. After the procedure it took me about 15 minutes to recover. (I felt well enough to sit up almost immediately but that might be attributed to the fact that I was so happy and surprised about how simple and painless the MVA had been) but because they are good doctors they brought in snacks and drinks and encouraged me to take some time to rest and recover. Dr Joan and all her assistants were incredibly friendly, candid and sympathetic. I could tell they really care about the patients they see. This is how abortion care should be all over the country.

Early Options is the most warm and safe office, where each patient and visitor will be met with a genuine smile and desire to make you feel as comfortable and welcomed as possible. I could not recommend this clinic enough, the entire staff from the front desk, to nurses, to Dr. Fleishman are all so kind and willing to answer any questions and make sure you feel at ease entering their practice. Their moniker “early options” should be “best option” because no matter what you choose, going with their practice is the best choice. Thank you, to all of you, for your work and authenticity. This country needs more “you”s!

As the male partner of of a female patient that chose Early Options, I cannot recommend our experience enough. It was an incredible relief that both my wife and I were treated with compassion and respect as we navigated an already difficult situation. We felt heard and understood, and were immensely grateful that we were both able to be present during the procedure. The level of help and support that Early Options provides to every single one of their patients is impeccable, and their compassion and understanding helps ease the emotional difficulties of one of the most stressful situations a couple can find themselves in.

In the Fall of 2020 I unexpectedly found out I was pregnant. I preferred not to wait if the decision was to abort as this would only allow the fetus to grow more. I was able to schedule an appointment that same week at a time that fit my and my husband's schedule. Upon arrival, the place is great. It doesn't have that abortion clinic vibe that you see in movies. It very much feels like a massage spa and there was no one else there in the waiting area. Very private and personalized, which I liked. I was checked in by Maggie, who was great, and my husband and I were brought to our room. The exam room can feel a bit small, but it is NYC! Dr. Kang was excellent. Very personable, provided tons of information, did not force me to visualize the ultrasound but did assure me that there was NOT a heartbeat yet, and yes I know she wasn't lying as my husband was there was able to visualize the screen with her. I read some of the other comments before I decided to write mine, I saw someone talking about the procedure being the most painful and barbaric. This person is MOST DEFINITELY full of it and has clearly never given birth, which is 10/10 much more painful. No procedure is 100% pain free, there is discomfort. I would not call this procedure painful, but also not a massage! Dr. Kang and Maggie were absolutely so great with me. If I didn't have my husband there, I would have been okay to be alone because they were THAT comforting. After the procedure I was taken from the exam room to the doctor's office and given a snack and drink and given my discharge instructions. The next appointment arrived while I was still in the doctor's office and the staff were so great to ensure complete and total privacy. I never saw anyone or heard any names! I later on had some GI discomfort and was able to text Dr. Kang to discuss and she was so responsive. It was great. I've had the cold abortion clinic experience and would absolutely recommend this instead. This felt much more like standardized healthcare, which is what we should all strive for when it comes to women's health and procedures of this nature. And for anyone wondering, I had 2 children prior to this abortion, one of whom was 15 months old, and I went on to have another child years after the procedure.

This is, without a doubt, how all early abortion care should be. The all-female staff of doctors and nurses here are the most understanding and caring professionals you will ever meet. My wife and I found Early Options upon the discovery of an unplanned pregnancy and several days of the most confusing and stressful decision making we have ever faced. The professionals here helped us talk calmly through our options to help us better understand what was best for us and our life. The level of clarity about our decision would have been impossible without this practice's help, and we will be forever grateful for the care we received here. While it is comparatively expensive to other providers, the care that you are receiving here is invaluable. The emotional support and attention is worth every penny. As a husband, being allowed in the room for every step of the discussion and process allowed for our relationship to feel respected and sacred. Though my wife was nervous about the SofTouch procedure, she ultimately came away confident in our decision to proceed with it. While there was severe cramping for her during the 2-3 minute process, she was fully supported by our doctor, nurse, and myself throughout. Afterwards, we were provided with snacks and ample recovery time, being allowed to remain in the room for as much time as we needed. Unplanned pregnancy is an incredibly difficult situation. My wife and I will never forget the incredible care we received from Early Options, and we will be forever grateful for their help. This practice absolutely sets the standard for how care in this country should be, and is well worth your attention should you find yourself in need of their services.

I had an miscarriage of twins at 7 and 8 weeks of pregnancy. It was one of the most emotionally devastating experiences of my entire life. My doctor told me my choices were 1) Watch and wait (expectant management) 2) Medicated miscarriage that is filled with hours of pain and excessive bleeding or 3) a D and C. I have an extreme fear of anesthesia and I also don't like the idea of surgery to scrape the insides of my uterus. So I did my research. I knew there had to be another way and I found out about Manual Vacuum Aspiration. I did a quick Google search and found this clinic. The whole experience was superb. The receptionist made me feel so comfortable and answered all of my questions and the nurse Selena literally held my hand. And Dr. Fleischman was so reassuring. The procedure was painful yes, but nothing unbearable or that you can't breathe through and it was over in less than 5 minutes. I'll tell you that pain was nothing compared to the emotional pain of dealing with a miscarriage. I'm just happy I can fully grieve now and move on and try again next month! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

The experience was very professional, organized, smooth and comforting. As Dr. Joan and her assistant Madeline put it, it’s not a feeling that’s unfamiliar. The process from start to finish was easy. Of course like any other medical procedure, there will be some discomfort but rest assured they make you feel as comfortable as possible. My partner and I decided to go for the Softouch which is a quick and non-invasive procedure. Everything described in the website is straightforward. Amazing and I am most thankful and relieved!

Early Options gave me a calming and private experience during a very difficult decision. I felt so at ease between the nurse and the doctor. Both were readily available to ease all nerves and seemed to understand the difficult situation the women are in coming into the office. I also appreciated the privacy they offered. There is no advertising saying what building you are going into on the outside, and only "women's health practice" on the door. Once at the door, you pick up a phone to let them know you are there and they buzz you in. The only other people I saw were the workers. Even when you leave, after the procedure, they make sure no one else is out in the office to ensure your privacy. Overall, the staff made me and my partner feel so comfortable and ease with a decision and choice that was very difficult. I appreciate their professionalism and comfort.

I cannot praise this clinic enough. The level of care here is above & beyond. You are the only patient in the office so you have their undivided attention. They do not rush you through the appointment. They answer all your questions without judgment. They offer you drinks & snacks! The Softouch procedure itself lasts only a few minutes. The set up is much like getting an annual PAP exam, except you get some medicine to help with cramping, a sonogram and a heating pad for your abdomen. The doctor talks you through each step and when it comes time for the aspiration, the nurse and/or your companion do their best to distract you from what feels like some very strong period cramps. It is uncomfortable pressure for a minute or so and then it is over. They clean up, they make you comfortable and dim the room lights to help you relax. Every step of the way your personal well-being is considered, while at the same time respecting your privacy. You get the level of attention you need. This team is totally supportive, professional and they have created a beautiful, safe establishment for abortion care. Key word being care. They truly care. Early Options should be the standard of care for abortion. Thank you, again, EO.

I got pregnant even though i had taken a plan b so i guess you can say this pregnancy was completely a surprise. I freaked out when I saw the test result and immediately researched good places to go for an abortion being that I am only 18. Early options popped up as one of the first results. I called them and immediately got a response from their receptionist. She was the nicest women I had ever spoken to. She did not make me feel guilty and scheduled an appointment for me the NEXT morning. When i walked in i was unfortunately by myself and she had told me “It’s okay we’ll be with you” I felt extremely comfortable. Dr.F was very straight forward and when she did the ultrasound she made me feel like it was all okay. The staff wasted no time in giving me the pills and walked me through the process step by step. They even let me have my boyfriend on the phone with me because he was at work which I loved. They sent me home with the correct instructions and in addition gave me a heating pad, tea, a poem, and some extra pads for bleeding. Probably the sweetest staff I’ve ever been with. The process was not unbearable pain. There was some tough cramps and nausea but i did not feel as if I wouldn’t be able to get through it. I called the office multiple times and they did not hesitate to answer any questions as well as assure me that everything will be fine and work out okay. I was only 2 weeks pregnant so the process was quick but i’m glad i had this staff with me along the way. I had my follow up today and they were the nicest to me. I tested negative for the pregnancy test and they sent a prescription of birth control to my pharmacy to pick up on the same day. TO EVERYONE THAT IS READING MY REVIEW: I am being 100% honest. You will not regret coming here. There are some nasty reviews but I went with my instinct and came her. I don’t regret it one bit. Thank you to the staff at Early Options. I appreciate everything you guys have done <4

If I could rate this clinic negatively I would. Let's start with the fact that the "SofTouch procedure" is not soft by any means. It was the worst pain I have ever experienced and these reviews are extremely misleading. I almost passed out from the pain. I was screaming in agony, terrifying the person that came with me, and had to tell the nurse next to me that I was going to pass out and throw up at the same time. They had to bring in ice packs just to prevent me from passing out. The procedure is, as my OBGYN described, BARBARIC and INHUMANE. Then to have the procedure cost $2100, and THEY REFUSE TO NEGOTIATE WITH MY OUT OF NETWORK INSURANCE PROVIDER, was just a slap in the face. I saw a fertility doctor this morning who confirmed based on my blood work and spotting the night before the procedure that I was miscarrying and I shouldn't have even had to have the procedure done had they just RUN THE BLOODWORK PRIOR TO PERFORMING THE PROCEDURE. I never had to traumatize myself or subject myself to that level of mutilation in the first place. I am considering taking them to court for malpractice and emotional distress. more to come. DO NOT GO HERE. Oh, and after my procedure, they had the audacity to call me and ASK ME TO POST A REVIEW ON GOOGLE FOR THEM. These reveiws are mostly fake on the good side. I knew I didn't have a positive experience, and wanted to wait a while prior to posting for the sake of privacy and fear of further harrassment. Moral of the story - RUN DON'T WALK AWAY FROM HERE.

Early Options is a warm facility who provided me with dedicated care. For people able to invest in a more private experience, I cannot recommend them enough. It was important in my experience to have a less invasive procedure and less time consumed to the event overall (as compared to other clinics). I don’t understand why this particular procedure isn’t more available and accessible to women, but I’m grateful I found it here. There was minimal pain and discomfort. Grateful for this experience as something positive which I think will help shape my processing of it as well.

From my first phone call to my second, and then, my third these beautiful women at Early Options were nothing less than patient, understanding, gentle, kind, and exceptionally empathetic. This decision I will admit is one I never imagined I would ever have to make. However, I found myself researching this path. I stumbled upon Early Options reviews and I called and spoke to a very pleasant young lady who went through the process and finance options without any pressure at all.  Once I finally made my decision to move forward they booked me an appointment immediately. This office is extremely private.  They set up appointments to where you are the only patient inside with overlapping time so there is no chance of rushing the patient. During my procedure, the nurse and Doctor were very warm, companionate, and informative.  I ended up becoming a bit emotional during my procedure but in return, these women gave me such comfort and reassurance, they answered any question that popped into my mind without making me feel uncomfortable or silly for asking. When my procedure was completed, the Doctor brought me this lovely ginger tea with snacks and allowed me to take as much time as I needed.  I have received several follow-up check-in calls to make sure I'm feeling and doing alright.  Thank you, Early Options. Thank you for helping me through this tough decision with your kindness and understanding and for following up with me on my health.

What a wonderful staff and an amazing Dr.!! I was greeted by Martina and Maggie who made my husband and I feel right at home, they took great care of me. They offer little snacks like pretzels, crackers, water and ginger-ale. Maggie was very gentle in taking my blood pressure and prepping me, blood, etc. I can't say enough about Dr. F She was very warm, caring, kind and extremely gentle. I went in for the SofTouch procedure. It took exactly 3 minutes as I was only 6 weeks pregnant. I felt no pain, the most i felt was pressure as you would when getting a pap smear. My husband was able to be with me from start to finish. I left feeling great!! I bled lightly off and on for one week, like a period with normal cramping. Today marks one week exactly and I feel good. No cramping, no bleeding. At first I thought the price ($2100,) was crazy high but I must admit, it is a private practice, very clean and they treat you very well. I left feeling pleased. I never ever wrote a review before but because the way I was treated and how painless this procedure was I had to share with other woman. Thank you to the Dr. and staff for taking great care of me. May God Bless you all To all the ladies out there please trust me, I was lost confused and scared.. Don't be, your in good hands!!

My boyfriend and I are so happy that we found Early Options. I was shocked to see a positive result after taking a pregnancy test on New Year’s Eve, but even though it was a holiday, the team was quick to get back to me and schedule my appointment. The entire staff took the time to answer all of our questions, and my boyfriend was able to be with me the whole time. The procedure was not painless, but they gave me time to lie down and recover as well as a special heating pad. After the procedure, they gave us time to be alone together and did not rush us out of the clinic. After we left, I felt great and had no pain, and was able to walk around, grab food, and go to the Apple store. I did a lot of research before choosing Early Options, and I was very stressed by the thought of going to any other clinic and did not want to have an invasive surgical procedure. I am so grateful that we were able to come here, and feel so lucky to have had the experience that we had at Early Options, knowing that the whole team was 100% committed to making us feel safe, heard, and welcome the entire time that we were there. We did pay more money to come here than we would have if we had gone anywhere else, but we both agreed that it was worth it for the procedure, the privacy, and the treatment and attention that we received. I’m so thankful to the entire team and would 100% recommend Early Options to anyone who finds themselves in the same situation that I was in.

Dr Fleischman and her team exude true compassion, knowledge and friendliness, and provide a vital service that I wish any person needing to end an early pregnancy could access. The office is calming and welcoming, and they clearly explain your options beforehand through a virtual visit. The procedure itself is quick and feels like one bad menstrual cramp plus pressure. There is no surgery (e.g. D&C) and therefore no scarring. I was in the park two hours later, able to give full energy and attention to my two, wonderful little kids. While I would rather not have needed this service, it was very much worth the price, and I feel fortunate to have met these women. Thank you all!

I was so nervous and super scare when going in but they made me feel comfortable and at peace. Maggie was the best . She made sure I was good and held my hands throughout the process. She always checked up on me and explained whatever I needed to know very well. The process was very fast and I left feeling better and would recommend this place to anyone who wants to go through this process.

This place is an absolute life saver, as ironic as that may sound. My girlfriend and I were completely caught off guard by the news and timing couldn’t be worse for both of us. To have this compassionate option and the privacy Early Options offered was an absolute blessing for our situation. Unbelievably professional, compassionate and knowledgeable care. Do not hesitate to reach out to them, they will walk you through every step. Your woman’s mental and physical Heath is in good hands here.

I really can't thank Dr. Fleischman enough! I wasn't made to feel like just another number. She was so caring and kind. After the procedure, I was crampy and the staff was very attentive. They didn't rush me, they were all just there for me in every way. I wouldn't think twice about recommending this office to anyone I know in need of abortion services. Thank you again!

Went to early options to get a surgical abortion very early on in my pregnancy. I chose the surgical option because I'd had one many years prior at PP and it went smoothly so I was able to continue work immediately afterwards. Much to my dismay, they were unable to perform the surgical abortion because they couldn't get my cervix open. They said that this is something that happens there about once a week, but I'd never heard of it, nor had I read about it, nor was the possibility of such a situation posed in any of the disclaimers I signed before the procedure. I should note, the attempt to get my cervix open was incredibly painful: walking and even sitting down after the procedure hurt extremely badly for about 3hrs afterwards. (Did I mention I got up and walked straight out after the PP abortion several years prior?) So after this unexpectedly time-consuming process, I'm hurriedly given mifeprestone and sent home with the rest of the abortion pills to take 24-72hrs later. I should note I ended up losing work and $$ because I had to cancel jobs to stay home for the medical abortion procedure I never wanted in the first place. Before I left the office that day, I scheduled a mandatory followup and was told I would get an ultrasound to make sure everything was gone. Went all the way there for the followup, no ultrasound, just a urine pregnancy test and that was it. 2hrs travel, 3hrs time for a simple pregnancy test I could've gotten in the drugstore and taken at home. i was told that the dr. who'd performed my unsuccessful procedure was having a bad day that day. a bad day...we all have em, but we rarely spend $2100 for em. i'm writing this review because all i want to say is....nobody is more competent because they're more expensive. if you've got $2100 to blow, go ahead, because it seems like what happened to me is rare? i don't know anymore. but for me, i feel like i got majorly ripped off for sub-par service. also. put a disclaimer into the material you have people sign that says the surgical abortion might not work if your cervix doesn't open. if it happens once a week like you said, i think that's a high enough percentage to warrant a disclaimer for people in the future so they don't feel like they got ripped off, treated poorly and lost work and money in the process.

I accompanied a friend for a procedure and have to say this boutique facility is quality. She received compassionate care from the staff. They took their time and didn’t rush. The atmosphere was calming, clean, and safe. They value peoples privacy and you don’t see other patients. It beats going to an abortion mill with 3+ hour wait and full wait rooms. While I personally wouldn’t choose to do a soft touch procedure, this was an exceptional place. They don’t take insurance but you can submit a form to your insurer. I would recommend this place to all my female friends.

I am in the field of mental health and I was very concerned for my mental well being as I was faced with the need to terminate a pregnancy. I was very fortunate to find out about this place, Dr. Fleischman is an absolute professional in her work and a non-judgemental person which so incredibly important in these moments when a woman is already dealing with a tremendous amount of negative self judgement. Thank you Dr Fleischman and your wonderful staff for all your care and understanding, you a wonderful team that makes the difference in women's life.

I am not usually one to write reviews, but I am absolutely blown away by the level of genuine empathy and care I have received from Early Options. We all know that this is not an easy process for anyone, but the entire staff at Early Options made me feel the most comfortable I could ever imagine feeling given the circumstances of my visit here. I highly, highly recommend this place. You will leave feeling genuinely cared for and heard. The staff at Early Options only have your best needs and comfort in mind. The morning I woke up to go to early options, I was terrified. The embarrassment that ran through my mind and the thought of the potential pain from the procedure was the only thing I could think off. Upon arrival to their office I was greeted by Madeline who walked me to a warm sunny room. I instantly felt comfort, because it wasn't the usual cold medical office. What I appreciated even more was the privacy and never having to run into other patients. Then came Joan who performed the procedure. She walked me through every step, while Madeline held my hand for support and just a few cramps later, I was done. I was shocked at how painless it was. It just felt like a period cramp. The process only took 1 minute. After that, they served me some tea and snacks while I recovered before leaving. I am grateful for business' like Early Options and women like Joan and Madeline who support women in having options. The service was beyond what I expected.

Simply the best! Definitely a high-end/ upscale option but you are getting privacy and absolute best service. You are seen by just one nurse who will be with you from beginning to end. The doctor has great hands and does not use any vacuum/ suction. Procedure was very quick and as painless as it could be. No tearing unlike other places that use harsher methods and therefore healing was quick. Warm, caring and friendly nurse who attended to my needs. She gave me a follow-up call to make sure I was okay. In and out in an hour. Highly recommend. Worth every cent.

Unfortunately I had an unplanned pregnancy that I was not ready to have! It doesn’t matter what your reasons may be and a lot of times some places will make you feel wrong or uncomfortable for wanting to have an abortion! Early Options is not one of those places! From the moment I called to the moment I walked out of the office I felt completely comfortable and confident I was in good hands! Bethany, Madeline and especially Dr. Fleischman are absolutely incredible women who took amazing care of me. They never made me feel guilty or wrong for making the decision I made. The office is warm, clean and inviting. The soft touch process which I recommend was very quick I wouldn’t say painless but definitely not as bad as other alternatives. I’m so happy I went to early options. I highly recommend going here. Grateful for incredible women helping other women in hard situations! Thank you Early Options!!!

My experience at Early Options was splendid and there aren't enough words to express how comfortable I felt. Early Options provided me with an personal experience where the office and team were devoted to me and eased my nerves regarding the situation. Dr. Fleischman was a joy and I appreciate the time she spent explaining everything from the procedure to follow-up care and making sure as a patient I was given the upmost car and attention! Likewise, Madeline, another member at EO, was splendid and I appreciate her being by my side the whole procedure (she even held my hand)! For anyone who is wondering where to go, don't look any further because Early Options is the place, and in my opinion the, only option. Thank you, thank you, thank you tremendously!

I never usually write reviews on Google, but in this case I can’t thank the team at Early Options enough! The care I received while I was there was truly astounding, it was a judgment free zone, private, and I felt well-informed about the decision I was making. The MVA should be a standard practice for abortion care and I’m thankful I live in New York where options like this still exist. The procedure only took a matter of minutes and I felt like myself again by the time my partner and I left the office. As a woman, it’s stressful enough having to make these choices alone, or with a partner. I am forever thankful there are places like Early Options that make this already difficult decision a lot less scary. I genuinely can’t thank you enough!
