    Although the service I received was professional and courteous, I long for the days of Bergdorf past. Actually, it's more of my complete disconnect with the current uber-casual fashions. Gone are the days of a fine suit or outfit that allow you to dress like a man as opposed to a thug or fashion fanatic. I know, I know... they need to appease the desires of the customer. Truth be told, brands like Valentino and Boss are following in the footsteps of Hilfiger and Gucci. I'll just step aside and watch them ruin their reputations with these mediocre-at-best offerings. BTW, if not for the over-the-top service at Goodwin's, I'm not sure this review would have surpassed three stars. Unfortunately, this customer needs to go elsewhere to get measured and suited.

    The best Christmas windows display ever! I haven’t been here several years and finally I had the pleasure of watching the Christmas decoration for this year 2021! What an amazing job they did , every year is different theme, when you look close in details, you will be amazed. You don’t wanna miss it !! Recommended !!!

    Bergdorf has gone downhill over the years. Service was a joke. I received a gift wrapped moncler shoes and the box was damaged. I want to exchange an Hermes lipstick and it couldn’t be done. Very disappointing experience overall. Will not shop there again.

    Have been going to this nyc landmark for years. There are so many floors to explore. Each floor nicely decorated and well thought out. The holiday market is our destination during the Holiday season. Definitely worth checking out! This place has wonderful options to choose from! Check this place out!!

    Be sure to visit around November/December Christmas time. The decor is out of the world. It's not some regular Christmas Decor. It is one of the kind. About the stores inside, i go here to shop my perfumes and colognes. It is 1 level down when you enter, The brands vary from Frederic malle, clive, christian, Christian Dior ofcourse, Creed, Mizensir, La Prairie (Switzerland brand). My all time favorite is all Dior brands. Dioriviera and Jasmin Des anges to name. In the same level, They also have various beauty stores like La mer, Retrouve, Clè De peau beauty, Dries vannoten. Excellent showcase of items and love it.

    There is so much to say about this amazing department store. They’re displays are phenomenal. Not only do they have some of the best brands, but I can understand fully why they are the one of the best in New York. First floor is jewelry in Purses Next lore would be my favorite, which would be the shoe department Next would be women’s clothing following for formal wear I only went through four floors and it took half a day. There is just so much to see and enjoy, for those of you who love fashion and beautiful product designs. Staff is friendly, kind and knowledgeable. I hope that I can go back there one day and see the rest of it. I highly recommend if it’s your first time in New York and you love fashion go to Bergdorf Goodman. You will not be disappointed.

    I was hesitant to write this but I thought I should. The staff in the women’s department tried to sell me a pair of worn Chanel shoes that I was intending to buy as a present. I was assured that it’s “fine” but the shoes were in poor condition, probably was a display shoe before. Attaching some pictures.

    0 stars!!! The worst customer service! Please DONT buy here! My husband and his brother spend over $10,000 for sunglasses and shoes In this store! When my husband came today with a sunglasses that cost him $600 less than a year ago (but 2 months after he bought the glass there were already broken! But we live in Dallas not NY) and told the manager that the sunglasses is broken if she can fix it or try to help him she looked at him told him no we don’t fix it we can’t do nothing you can buy a new sunglasses or you can go. He was shocked !! Never happened to us before in any store !!!! Will never buy there again!!!! We are so disappointed!

    Got my Chanel bag shipped from the boutique in the worst condition. The bag had scratches inside, threads coming off and there were white stains on the bag. I would never recommend shopping from this boutique

    I’ve lived in New York for 5 years now and I finally went here for the first time. I’m still trying to figure out why I did not come sooner?! This is one of the most upscale and elegant department stores I’ve ever been in. They have everything you could possibly imagine and it feels more like you are walking through a home than a store. You could spend HOURS in here. Make sure to make a reservation for drinks at the cafe on the top floor - it’s super cute. Letters from Jackie Kennedy adorn the walls leading into it. Such a charming place!

    First time purchasing at Bergdorf Goodman. Extremely disappointed with the experience. Purchased a full price Jason Wu dress at the store. Since I gave my email at check out I received a welcome coupon with a small discount via email. I didn't see it until I got home, so I called store number on the receipt and asked if it can be applied since receipt says price adjustment in 10 days. A representative took down the message said someone will get back to me. The person that called back said it most likely can be honored, just call the sales associate. The associate said she needs approval and will get back to me. She called and said client services would not approve. I called myself to see since I was told otherwise the first time. I was routed to "someone that will definitely help me". I explained the situation and the woman on the phone said no very rudely and put the phone next to her so as to not have to hear anymore and hung up on me. If you want to get the runaround when something goes wrong and no service this is the place to be. They have high-end goods with the high prices but definitely don't have premier service.

    Lap of luxury! What a beautifully decorated store and wonderful shopping experience! Christmas is great in any NY store but this one is amazing! The shopping assistants are very respectful and helpful. Things are expensive but for the quality it is worth it.

    Went to find a skincare product and a new fragrance to get me ready wear for the Beyonce concert on the 29th. Made a new professional acquaintance by the name of Francine who introduced me to a new fragrance for the night.Very personable, and beautiful, whose makeup was on point. I was given a tip for my makeup colors to wear for the special night and I did a trail run and the colors came out very nice. In addition was given a sample of the fragrance I will be putting in my purse, while on the go. I will definitely be smelling like I am going out. My skin looked radiant the next day after trying out new skincare products introduced to me by Fara Islam the counter manager from the Dr. Barbara Sturm skincare line. My visit to Bergdorf's was a Awesome time and will returning for my facial in August.

    Bergdorf Goodman shipped a S Veronica Beard tee shirt instead of a XS Carolina Herrera cardigan. Then, they made a mess of sending the correct item despite making the request to send the correct item three times. Make sure you don't save your payment information on the website. The customer service is atrocious by text, by email and by telephone. Bergdorf Goodman does not deserve your dollars. I made a second purchase by telephone. It went OK. I had to return three items, two by the same label for poor fit, one I really wish had worked but it just didn't.

    The best staff for Omorovicza on the planet. I have been a user of Omorovicza for 9 years. It was so great to finally get a facial and and have a pampering day. I am a assistant shop supervisor on a classic car restoration company. I love my guys but... It was so good to just be with the girls! Thank you all so much!

    In 2019 I purchased a pair of Christian louboutin Pigamule 100 black leather shoes via telephone order. I admit that I did not open the box nor any other purchases I made until recently. I was absolutely horrified to see that I was sent a pair that someone else had previously owned.The clue was that when you viewed the sole of the shoe it was sticky and in the area of the front of the bottom. Someone must have tried to cushion the top portion of the bottom.Obviously I cannot do anything about this now; however I still have the receipt that they cost approx 857 inclusive of the tax. I am disabled which is why I never opened my purchases and now I am totally appalled that a department store that I grew up with shopping at has reduced itself to such an inferior level.It is totally unacceptable that a store which had been known for its quality and customer service has been reduced to a common level. I am disappointed and disillusioned that it appears there is no quality control. I am adding photos of the shoes, box, and receipt to this review . Even cream spoils. What is astounding is that even though I mentioned having a receipt and adding photos of the front and side of the shoe, as well as the bottom, nobody reached out to me. I am absolutely shocked that Bergdorf has allowed their inventory control to send me shoes in such a deplorable condition. They really must have better quality control. I am disappointed that the store did not reach out to me as I could have shown them the receipt. Furthermore, you can tell from the photo of the shoes that they were never worn except for the sticky thing that they applied on the bottom and removed. This is a disgrace. Oh how the mighty have fallen. I recommend that if you love Christian Louboutin shoes you purchase them from a Christian louboutin store. Furthermore, if you need a repair go to the Leather Spa. Although I posted this review awhile ago, not one member reached out to me. It is not only disconcerting; but also, quite appalling that I did not get an apology. Admittedly, I should have opened my packages sooner, however the pictures I submitted spoke volumes. Obviously the shoes were new; however, a sales associate must have added an outer cushion to make the shoe more comfortable for someone to make a sale. It is an outrage that I was sent shoes in such deplorable condition which I paid full price for.

    NYC is bustling and bursting all over with tourists and New Yorkers; ready everyone lights action 🎬 showing world famous window displays all around town. I Love dropping into the MoMA , moving about the City to view to the spectacular window displays of high end luxurious clothing,accessories, Harry Winston house of diamonds...Armani,Prada, Louis Vuitton Gucci, Bergdorf Goodman's must see windows,Saks,Macy's, Chanel etcertera ... welcome to the seasons Holiday lights in New York City ❤ I'm dipping and tipping around town . I love cold weather and the smell of chestnuts 🌰 and pulling apart a large soft 🔥 yummy pretzel hmm...so everything ! Sharing some photos 📸 Peace and Blessings always agape ❤ all year round reverberation.

    We went here for the tea time. It was so mid. The sandwiches and deserts were okay. I am from San Francisco and there’s a tea place there that is the best place ever. I guess maybe it made me have high standards but I wouldn’t go back again. The tea was good but it wasn’t worth the price.

    This store really filled me with disappointment and sadness. I have proudly told people from all other countries that this is one of the best stores in the world. But now I think I will never patronize again because the service attitude is so bad that I can't imagine it. Whether it is the men's clothing area or the home collection area, it can be said that there is no service. Also, in the home collection , I encountered a contemptuous inquiry from a white curly-haired saleswoman, just because I asked if there was a discount?I was cornered and forced to answer her many inexplicable questions. I felt very uncomfortable. I couldn't accept her contempt and suspicion. It was like a kind of racism. Her eyes told me that I didn't I can't afford this thing, or feel that Asians can't spend any money here. I don't think I can forget that look in my life. I can't even imagine that until today, in New York, I can still have such a special shopping experience.....I want to tell everyone how bad the sales are here. For a loyal consumer, this was a huge disservice and an experience I will never forget for the rest of my life。When you come to this store, don't ask if there is a discount, or ask the price, because no one will care about you, and the salesperson will humiliate and ignore you.

    Wonderful experience this afternoon at the Men’s cologne section. Francesca was so incredibly helpful. As someone who is fairly new to the world of fragrance, Francesca introduced me too a few options and helped me select the perfect new cologne. She was so kind and attentive. I look forward to returning and expanding my collection of amazing perfumes.

    I purchased some items online with a promotion code. Everything in my shopping cart looks fine with the promotion code being successfully applied. When I click on the "place the order" button with my credit card info, it charges my card the price without the promotion. I feel being deceived and find this totally unacceptable. I called customer service and after being hung up twice, they finally told me that there is some rule, which you only get to find after several clicks on the website, some small front letters at the bottom say "this promotion MAY NOT be combined with other promotions". When I added items to my shopping cart, some gifts (free samples) were automatically added to my shopping cart. I was told that I have to remove those free samples to get the promotion, but the shopping cart gives me no option to do that. Basically, you have no choice but being deceived according to the design of your online shopping cart. The person on the customer service line was nice enough to offer to help me find a way to remove those free samples from his end so that the promotion can be applied... Hope other people who shop on their website do not have to go through the same frustration!

    I just bought a cashmere Coat here… never again! I felt it came from the thrif store… not only that gift wrapping is complimentary over $700 but i paid for it —spending over $3k- but the coat came wrong size —after spending over an hour with their associates- and i came a wrinkled ball, and not even on a garment bag! Please if uou dont need my business let me know and go buy it at the brownbag store or at 5th for better treatment. Merci, la gerance!

    Beautiful store...like entering an alternate universe. So many options and gorgeous things. I could spend hours in the Cosmetics and Fragrances department alone. 💜🩷💛 Customer service is "meh", not so good, but it's New York...good luck finding a friendly person anywhere in New York. It would be awesome if Bergdorf's put in a gourmet artisan coffee shop/bakery like they have at Harrods in London. ☕️🥧🧁🍰🥮🍡🍮🍭

    Bergdorfs is an institution for a reason, but the best part is the people. I had an especially memorable experience with Isadora in the jewelry department. I was looking for something very specific and she went above and beyond to find the perfect piece. I’ll be going back to buy from her again!

    Visited Bergdorf’s in NYC with a goal of finding engagement rings. Isadora, in the fine jewelry department, was patient and attentive. Her ability to assimilate all of our preferences enabled us to be successful in finding the perfect rings. She has a wealth of knowledge about the jewelry designers, and she is passionate about helping her clients find the perfect piece. We enjoyed our time shopping with her and look forward to an excuse to return.

    I would never come and buy anything is the store, I ordered a jacked online came to pick up my get home and it was small I called them and ask is my assistant can come and just exchange for a bigger size , I live in jersey didn’t want to take a trip, should a big store and nobody knows anything, THIS STORE IS A SCAM AND OVER PRICED!!! Guess what I went inside the store to return my jacket and exchange for a different one they gave me such a hell it was unbelievable I wasted two hours with the stupid people there that don’t know anything this is incredible. Do not buy anything. Do not spend your money. They’re all scams, big liars and they will take your money.

    This review is solely based on their amazing Christmas window displays! I’ve never actually been inside (I mean -I’m a seriously thrifty shopper so they would have had to administer CPR after my passing out from sticker shock 😂) That being said, their window displays for Christmas are visually stunning! Some might even say “over the top”… and I LOVE ALL OF IT! If it is a feast for the eyes then it would be like pulling your chair right up to the self serve line at an all you can eat buffet! So creative and captivating I found myself mesmerized by all the sparkling things! Just casually walking by is not an option! Each window is strategically crafted in a theme that speaks to the viewer. I wonder how much psychology is revealed by choosing our “favorite”windows. Definitely a must see on 5th Ave! Maybe next time I’ll actually visit the store inside.

    Beautiful store but I was extremely disappointed in the customer service. I went in to look for a cute Chanel bag and I was not greeted or helped at all. I hate to play the “race card” but every person that walked in was greeted and helped but me. When I asked for help, team members seemed like I was bothering or wasting their time. When I decided to buy elsewhere, the same thing happened at the Prada section. I know I may not have “looked” like I had money to spend, but I did and it’s disappointing that all customers aren’t treated the same. Please do better.

    Worst online retail service ever. Package comes in weird shape EVERY SINGLE TIME no matter how much you spend on the stuff inside. This time it’s stained with some weird liquid and THAT’S IT for me. I just hope all these good online retailers who actually try can completely take over the game after the pandemic.

    Went to the restaurant. Tables are little but it is worth the view and the ambience. Had the classic Gotham salads... Perfect. The chicken was not.

    I didn’t eat my salad. The artichoke hearts tasted very off, and it made me worry about the chicken. The greens had black mushy pieces, and the chef should be told. It was Friday 9/17. A terrible salad. However!!!! I did not inform the handsome and delightful waiter, because I had such a nice time, I was there for about 3 hrs without any nudge suggesting it might be time for me and my dear friend to leave, and the iced tea was delicious. It’s outside for drinks and less Covid fear inside for food. Also, I suppose I should note that my friend loved her crab cake, AND the waiter did recommend it. But really, I could have gotten a better salad in an elementary school cafeteria.

    I am currently having the worst experience with this store location. I am getting conflicting information from agents vs. client services. She just off the phone with client services and she was extremely rude and unhelpful. Her tone was strong and unwillingness to help. Is there someone from management that can help me with my return. It’s just unbelievable that a store of this caliber is giving conflicting information. All of my information is stored on their computer accessible with my phone number. I have never come across such a disgraceful lady!
