These are urgent do not care ! After spending 20 min for paperwork ( I was the only patient), the PA came to check . The actual visit took less than 2 min. She refused to check my nose or eyes anything. With attitude and no eye contact. She was careless as one could be. No communication , explanation about my sickness whatsoever. After I went to pick up my medication, I noticed she ordered mainly over the counters and ibuprofen for my sinus infection! I went to see an ENT after, he told me that I should not use any of theses .

They asissted me vey quickly! They also accepted my insurance. MD city accross the street sucks! They wouldn't accept my insurance and they wanted $225 or a partial payment up front! I think they're scamming people!... Anyway Modern urgent care is the place to go. They diagnosed me quickly and there were no up front requests for payment. Hope this helps😊

I only have a problem is with the app ,. but the staff is respectful .and they explain very thorough when you ask questions .

I saw Gilead Derose here in early April for pneumonia symptoms. I've had pneumonia 3 times in the past and was going on an international trip in 2 days. Needed antibiotics. He barely listened to my lungs (fluid on the lungs is easy to detect by even a halfway decent doctor) or even listened to me and my concerns. He sent me home with Tamiflu and an inhaler. Tamiflu did nothing and while on vacation in France my pnemonia got worse. I saw a French doctor who confirmed pnemonia and prescribed antibiotics. Got better, but after getting home, 2 weeks later my pnemonia came back. I had to go to ER and was confirmed my pneumonia came back. The doctor said if I had gotten antibiotics the first time I wouldn't have had such a complex case. It's now been a bit over 2 months that I've been struggling with this pnemonia because of Derose's flippant and arrogant incompetence in not listening to me and giving me the proper treatment (antibiotics). I've never had pneumonia for this long and it significantly impacted my life and my income. Who you see matters!! DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO HAVE WORSE COMPLICATIONS. DANGEROUSLY INCOMPETENT AND ARROGANT 'DOCTORS' AT THIS PLACE. This man should have his license revoked.

This staff has always been very courteous and the space is well maintained and clean. There is not a long wait time to be seen at all. I would recommend this location to anyone.

I had a great experience here. I was feeling horrible and the front staff made me feel comfortable. The check-in was very easy and the wait time was very short. The PA seemed very knowledgeable. It was fast service. Plus I was greeted nicely from front desk. She showed me how to sign in. Right after the medical assistant who also was very pleasant did my vitals. Then the PA came in, I almost forgot I was sick 👀 lol But over all the service was great. I would recommend this professional And clean facility to anyone. Keep it up 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I love this clinic! They’re always friendly every time I come. My favorite part is talking with staff. When any member of staff security, nurse or doctor sees you are uncomfortable they immediately engage in the most appropriate and friendly way. I would recommend this specific location to anyone! Wow. After waiting two hours in a crowded waiting room with no AC I get shuffled back into the rooms to be seen in. Surprisingly calm and a relaxed (aka lazy) vibe once you are taken in the back. My “room” has no door just a curtain so I am free to listen to the nurses (multiple) and the nurses station on their phones talking with their friends about how annoying the patients are, how they can’t wait to go home, how this persons out of jail now and every other personal conversation that is unprofessionally going on. Well done. Top marks

I was here before 7:30pm, and they had their security guard stopped me and asked me "why I'm here?" l did feel comfortable tell him. And as I write this review that was wrong for him to do and is against HIPAA rules! I told him I wasn't comfortable in saying and just wanted to see the doctor. He then had said they are no longer taking patience. when they still had a half hour to close and no else was in the waiting room. They should change there hours then to 7 smh

I went to MD Urgent Care fir a Covid test. They signed me in quickly snd I had a very short wait time. I asked for a specific PCR test and they were very accommodating. Will get results by email to a secure portal in 24 hours. Very pleased with the whole process.

Brief wait, staff at front desk very professional, they did not feed into my attitude. Once inside, the clerk triaged me and the PA came into the room about 10 minutes later. It was refreshing to see someone that looked like me, he was thoroughly pleasant, personable. Took care of me and I was on my way. The entire visit from start to finish took less that one hr.

Of all the days, my youngest son’s asthma reared its ugly head on Mother’s Day. Quickly took him in and he was promptly taken care of. The staff was, as always, professional, friendly and patient during the last hour of their shift. It’s never fun when your child is sick but this place always fixes him right up. As we were leaving I was handed a beautiful long stem rose and wished a Happy Mother’s Day! That simple gesture did a world of good for me. Thank you. Thank you so much.

I went there for my sprained foot. The doctor, receptionist, and the x-ray technician showed P.I.A. (Professionalism, Integrity, and Accountability). They were very attentive to my pain. I felt comfortable and I would recommend this medical office to everyone.

They took such good care of me here, I was blown away. They are so carin’ waitis is exactly the kind of energy I want to be greeted with and be in when it comes to my health. I came directly from my primary care doctor’s office up the block, where I couldn’t be seen on a walk-in and where the next most available appointment for me is over a weeks waiting time. I needed answers that my primary care facility couldn’t provide me and the ModernMD Urgent Care staff at this location gave them to me in less than an hour. I am so full of gratitude I wanted to buy them some pastries or something to thank them for such stellar service. If I could make them my primary care physician I would. I went to this Urgent care yesterday June 30th, 2023 and regretted why I did. I went with a host of problems and came back dissatisfied as there was no doctor but an incompetent physician assistant who never empathized with me and did no interview about my conditions as the doctors always did. After my blood sugar test was conducted I was told to go home!!I was never given a chance to disclose the urgent health issues that had brought me there! I for one would never go back there. On a scale 1-5 with 1 being poor and 5 being excellent, I gave them a 1!!

Waiting time was excellent. Service was precise and professional. Due to several bad experiences,I vowed to never go to any Urgent Care but this experience was very different and helpful( from the door to the MD). Thank you.

From the receptionist to the practitioner, the staff were kind and professional although I’ve noticed how rude their patients were, the staff still kept their professionalism in place. They also do rapid and PCR testings for COVID. I absolutely highly recommend!

This location on Fulton street and nostrand ave was extremely clean. The help and assistance from the registration desk to the nurse assistant and the doctor was amazing. They were very concerned about me and my health concerns. They allowed me to ask any questions I needed to and they were patient and explained everything to me. The visit was very quick and easy.

I had a good experience after needed to come in for an emergency visit. I came early in the morning, the front desk attendance was nice and helpful. I didn’t have to wait that long and the PA on site was quick and kind. I’ll be coming back if I need to visit an Urgent Care in the area.

Was prescribed the wrong antibiotics for my condition. I called days later after my symptoms worsened and another doctor was helpful in figuring out the mistake. Even so I won’t be going back here…it was a simple diagnosis and I had a lot of unnecessary pain because of a careless mistake.

GO TO CityMD INSTEAD! I went in to ModernMD Friday night thinking I had a broken toe (i did) and found out when I got there that they don't have an x-ray machine. I saw the doctor anyway and he gave it a brief eyeball test, and he concluded that it probably wasn't broken based on my ability to move it at the bottom-most joint (ignoring the fact that I couldn't really curl it at the top), and also based on his area of expertise in sports medicine! (Insane now thinking back on how this is supposed to be his specialty). He told me to put some ice on it (it's a broken bone!). He gave me a special shoe (not a boot, his sassypants made sure i knew the difference) and sent me on my way, and i walked all the way home, hurting it even more. He gave me a referral to an x-ray at some other hospital "just in case we missed something", but the place was closed for the weekend so I couldn't schedule an appointment. The weekend was terrible and the pain got worse. On Monday, confused why the pain was getting worse, I went to CityMD down the street and the doctor there thought it looked pretty bad. They actually have an x-ray machine at CityMD and they immediately confirmed that it was broken, taped it up, and gave me some crutches. They were also much nicer at CityMD and even gave me the lowdown about how ModernMD is pretty whack. In short, go to CityMD instead, much better vibes.

The waiting was extremely long, even though there's a process that's supposed to cut down the waiting time. The doctors and medical assistance we're professional and friendly. Overall the service was good but the waiting process make you not want to visit this site.

When I went up to the window the medical assistant had a smile on her face that would light up the room. Very polite, and patient with me. The Doctor was very polite, listen to my concerns, so that he can give me the proper medical attention. The medical assistant she was very polite when she came in to take my vitals. Thank you

It’s always a pleasant experience. I really like the registration waitlist, it cuts your wait time tremendously. The staff are pleasant and nice. PA Derose is very knowledgeable and helpful - offering good advice and suggestions. I would definitely recommend Bed-Stuy ModernMD.

They lost my COVID PCR test and didn’t inform me. I called after not getting results for 3 days and they told me the sample had never been labeled so I’d have to go do it again.

It was my first time. Everything went well and everyone was polite and efficient. My Waite was not long at all. But there was some waiting time outside the inner door - and I wasn’t sure why. I had to ask as there were no signs, that I could see as I waited. The person directly ahead of me left, said she wasn’t returning - but I had to ask the 2 people ahead of me what was the procedure? Was someone going to come out and take my information? They told me I had to wait until the door was opened and them we would be let in ... I think there should have been a sign giving directions to people waiting outside the inner waiting room. Pardon me, if there is one. And I didn’t see it.

Walked in with a jaw injury from impact and explained I may have a concussion. They were dismissive, only said “we can’t do anything about a concussion. And you still have wait in line.” Who said I wanted to skip the (5.5 hour, 54 person) line??? Why wouldn’t they recommend I go to the ER if they can’t help me? If I was a patient unfamiliar with concussions, I could be seriously hurt and not know it. Thankfully I know how to handle this. That alone was enough for me to never be seen here. Wouldn’t come here if you paid me!!! Check out CityMD across the street. They’re patient, smart and professional.

The service was fast and the doctor was Great. They got 2 stars from me because it took 3 hrs to send the correct prescription for my coverage. I had to go back 3 times just to get my medication! Service must be better

Modern MD care has a great system for COVID testing. So helpful to text the virtual queue to get a place in line rather than show up for a long wait. The doctors, nurses and support staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Facility is clean and processes are organized.

My experience was amazingly pleasant. The ladies there went over and beyond to make me feel comfortable during my time there . Ms Jessica cherry and Provider Ms Tamara Francis made this experience extraordinary by providing me with the answers I needed . The virtual wait-list is useless. They still make you check in and wait as a walk in once you arrive. I waited an hour at home and another hour in the lobby (30 min after paying). Oh and another 30+ min waiting for the doctor (or nurse practitioner? Not sure). They were pretty good in the end but at first they were kind of in a rush and I had to slow them down a little. They did show concern for my out of pocket expenses, so that was nice. But in general the wait is too long, sorry!

The staff there was really nice. My daughter loved the doctor. He was funny. The male receptionist was REALLY nice and patient with us. The security guard was a little annoying but of course he was doing his job I suppose. Lol

Came in last night to get help with an allergic reaction I've been having. Signing in was easy and the wait wasn't too bad. The doctor and staff were super nice and the charge wasn't too bad at $99. They sent me home with some medication. My eye is still a bit swollen but not as bad as before. Highly recommend them.

Came in an hour before they closed. They seen me right away. I was in and out in 30/35 mins. Front desk attendants were helpful with the registering. The nurses did a great job checking my vitals. The doctor was polite as well. Great team in that office

They were very efficient and surprisingly affordable compared to other urgent care experiences I’ve had. I was seen quickly and they were very upfront and clear about costs for everything. I was told in advance the exact cost before they ran any tests. I was in and out in about 30 minutes and my prescription was ready for me when I left.

I was not able to make it to this urgent care facility until a half hour before they closed. There was one person in the waiting room and they said the Dr. wasn’t taking any more patients because he was doing a procedure. If there were 5 or more people in the waiting room or what I needed would take along time to fix or diagnose that would have made sense to me so I persevered and made my argument as to why I should be seen. I prevailed and the Dr. saw me as the last patient and as predicted he gave me the prescriptions I was looking for after a quick evaluation. But he was quick AND efficient, explained the drugs he was going to give me and even did a PCR Covid test because it is more reliable. I was out the door by 6:45.

Everytime I visit this clinic I have nothing but great experiences. Everyone there is extremely helpful and supportive. Dr Gilead is by far one the best doctors I’ve met. He makes me feel comfortable enough to bring up any health concerns that I may be having
