Dr. Schleider has been my general doctor for over four years, and I have had such a wonderful and warm experience from start to finish. Appreciate that Dr. Schleider combines expertise and a willingness to listen and discuss every appointment. The atmosphere in the office is also great. Richard, the office manager, has been really patient and helpful all these years. Could not ask for a better medical office in NYC.

The entire staff is incredible. Dr. Schleider is patient and listens. I have called him multiple times on the weekend and he is very responsive. One time he was going through security at the airport and took my call and called in a prescription for me as he was running through the airport. He is a Doctor from back in the day before insurance and red tape came along. I’m so grateful !

Dr. Schleider is one-of-a-kind. He’s attentive, kind, and always willing to explain his thought process behind choosing a specific medication. He routinely checks in to see if you have any new medical concerns and how the dosage is treating you before making any adjustments. During one of our check ins, I mentioned that I had recently had an MRI and blood tests done. When I mentioned that I had trouble understanding the results, Dr. Schleider asked me to send them to him. He explained every aspect of them to me in a clear and easy to understand manner, while also making sure to analyze whether or not these other health issues were having an effect on my mental health. Dr. Schleider and his team continue to go above and beyond in every aspect of the patient care process. If you’re looking for a physician who takes a holistic approach and who will be attentive to your needs, this is the doctor.

Dr. Schleider is hands-down the best doctor. He is so caring and actually takes an interest in the well-being of his patients. When you have an issue there isn’t a barrier of receptionists/other staff to get through for you to speak with your doctor. He goes above and beyond what you would expect; whether it is finding another specialist or a more convenient pharmacy, he is a wealth of knowledge. If you are looking for a doctor who has a hands-on approach to your health and well-being, then you should absolutely book an appointment with him.

I’m so very grateful for Dr. Schleider. I had been looking, for a long time, for someone who could help me. He’s so attentive and kind. Our first talk, we discussed to many options for treatment and I felt so comfortable talking to him. Since then, he’s been just amazing! Checking in with me all the time but the quickness with his responses! I text him and sometimes, within a minute, he calls or texts me back. I highly recommend this practice.

I have been seeing Dr Schleider for a while, and I have to say it is some of my best experience with medical professionals. He is very attentive and will answer your questions patiently. My condition has improved with his medicine management, and I will happily recommend him to anyone that needs help.

Dr. Schleider is great, made me feel heard and cared for, was always on point with medication refills, and was a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately there was a mix-up with his office where I was allowed to believe that they were in-network so there were no out-of-pocket fees, when in fact it was a pandemic-era fee waiver that was covering my fees. As a result I was suddenly asked to start paying out of pocket for our sessions, which I could not afford. That was a little disappointing, and if it hadn't happened I would gladly have continued to see Dr. Schleider indefinitely.

I have been a patient of Dr. Schleider's for about 2 years now and I can't express just how happy and grateful I am to be under his care. Dr. Schleider and his staff (Richard, in particular) are highly attentive and quick to respond to correspondence. My medical needs and concerns feel seen, understood, and cared for. I typically see Dr. Schleider via telehealth, though I've gone into his physical office on 35th St for physicals and blood work, which has been about as pleasant of an experience as one could ask for. The office is clean, the staff are friendly, and I was seen on time. His office has also provided me with several referrals to specialists, all of which I've been exceedingly satisfied with.

Excellent physician. I came across Dr. Schleider after my physician passed away suddenly. I am so grateful I found him. He is extremely knowledgeable with medications and I feel extremely comfortable talking to him. I Have also referred him to A good friend with complex PTSD and he has also helped her tremendously.
