Located just south of New Moscow (South Beach) , this is a excellent pier for fishing during the late spring - early summer months . Best place for flukes and decent stripers . Connected to boardwalk with a few overhead gazebos and restrooms nearby. The Pier itself has great views of Swinburne and Hoffman Islands a few miles away. Nighttime has nice views of a lit up Verrazano Bridge .

Great place to take kids, just walking into the ocean on a pier with the view of the ocean is breathtaking.

Very Nice, Not many places have a Wet Table. Got to Fish with a Childhood friend that I haven't seen in over 25years. The Pier was clean and didn't have the Usual Blood stains and Guts that attract the Flies. Even though it was Hot & Sunny. There was a Constant Ocean Breeze flowing. I was very pleased that I caught a Flounder/Fluke, only 16in so he went back to grow bigger.

Fluke have to be over 19". The people hanging out are very friendly and helpful. They have places along the fence to rest your Pole and Running water Table to clean your fish and to prepare your bait

Located just 1.7 miles south of the Verazzano Narrows Bridge you’ll find this fishing pier. It’s on Capodanno Boulevard located about halfway down the boardwalk. The pier offers numerous benches to sit, fishing pole holders, some shade at the end of the pier and 2 cleaning and fileting stations with running water! The view of Brooklyn and the bridge are beautiful! A great place to fish or just sit and enjoy the fresh air and watch the ocean liners pass by as they head out to the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean. An easy 5***** Star Pizzaman tourist attraction rating!

The view is great, the lantern-fly infestation is getting a little out of hand. My dog enjoyed it either way.

The Ocean Breeze Fishing Pier in Staten Island is a great spot for fishing, as well as for enjoying the outdoors and taking in the beautiful views of the ocean. If you're in the area and looking for a fun and relaxing way to spend some time, the pier is definitely worth a visit.

Nice walking place. A lot of fisherman. The very end is closed and not accessible for the public as of the beginning of July 2023, I hope they fix railings fast.

I've been to Staten Island a few times, and the best moment I had was on this pier. The Ocean Breeze Fishing Pier has some breathtaking views of the nearby beach, the New York Bay, Brooklyn, and the Verrazano Narrows Bridge. I also had a good walk up to the pier as well via the FDR Boardwalk.

👍👍 This pier sticks out so far into the Hudson River that you feel like you're halfway to New Jersey. There is a fantastic view of the George Washington Bridge looking north, and the skyline of New York City looking south. This is a nice, new pier with lots of seats and indirect lighting. It is not a p...
