I recently dined at Masseria dei Vini, an Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff was incredibly attentive. I started with their classic salad, which was fresh and bursting with flavor. For the main course, I ordered veal parmigiana. It was heavenly, with layers of perfectly cooked veal, rich sauce, and melted cheese. To top it all off, I indulged in a slice of their apple cake with vanilla ice cream, and it was the perfect end to a fantastic meal. This restaurant also offers delicious pizza and it will be my must-try next time.

An excellent Italian restaurant. We keep coming back at least once a year. Excellent service and excellent food. The pizza was excellent. Several pasta dishes were excellent as well. The deserts were amazing. Nice selection of wine and alcohol. My daughter is vegan as she had nice vegan options as well including and amazing sorbet with fresh fruit. Highly recommended!

We had an excellent dinner! Every dish was outstanding. Specifically, the veal tortellini with mushroom sauce was very good. We were a group of 7 with 3 kids. The kids found plenty to eat and the staff were very friendly. This is definitely a place we would go back to.

Overly priced for the quality. The bread basket was large but it was all quite stale. Better to serve one type of good bread, warm. The food portions were large but it was just ok. I am almost certain that the “whipped” mashed potatoes were instant. They had that distinctive taste and grainy quality. Every dish the waiter served, he would say…”look at that beautiful.” In my head I was thinking, no the plating is terrible.

Very good pasta and service. Felt rushed our food arrived within 10 mins of our ordering and came before our bottle of wine.

Fine dining with vegan options. While the dining room was quite busy it was still comfortable and inviting. Polite and knowledgeable staff were able to recommend excellent vegan options and they even had a vegan dessert option! They knew which dishes were most likely to be cross contaminated.

This is an authentic Italian restaurant— heavy on wine and only Italian beers. I wanted this to be a 5-star experience, but the food came up a touch short. It was good, but I’ve had better pasta on many occasions— good not great. The service was first class, very regular visits to the table to refill water and check on needs. Would absolutely go again.

Excellent ossobuco and risotto. The service was great. Lentils and bread were delicious. Solid Long Island ice too as well!

We came for dinner on Saturday night and was recommended by our hotel since it’s so close. What a great spot. Definitely not a touristy spot, seemed more like locals dining. We came with two kids and it wasn’t an issue. Service was excellent and the food was phenomenal. My kids loved the fried zucchini sticks. This and the fritto misto are perfectly battered. The vongole pasta was incredibly flavourful. So good. The bolognese was also delicious. For secondi we shared the pork chop which had truffle flavours. And the branzino was delicious too. We will definitely come back when we are in town.

Enjoyed the food, typical of any white table cloth Italian restaurant. Wait staff was good - deducted points for the maitre d. their level of arrogance was off the charts. No smile. No humor. Bring all the tables with only women to the back of the restaurant. These two men are snobs and don’t belong in this business. I won’t go back - too many other options in Manhattan with out this class nonsense. They act as if they are from Florence and everyone else is from Bari. (Those who know, know.)

Best cosmopolitan i have had in the city! A really great special dinner destination. We loved the vibe here.. a real authentic Italian style and great service! We shared a salad to start and the risotto and they served us our own plates each which was a nice touch. Nothing blew us away but you could tell the ingredients were good and we would defo come back for a special occasion as it was slightly on the expensive side for what it was.

I stopped by for a quick bite around six. There were plenty of open seats at the bar at this time. There were a few diners in the restaurant. Service was good, attentive, and professional. Food was good and it came out in a timely manner. I look forward to coming back again.

The experience at this restaurant was top notch. Definitely a great place for a nicer meal as marked by the presence of tablecloths. Service was phenomenal and most of the food was extremely tasty. As someone who is Italian, I am also hesitant to order the meatballs as I am quite critical and they often don't live up to expectations. The meatballs here were extremely delicious and I could have had a whole bowl of them for my meal. Paired with the delicious homemade tomato sauce this appetizer was perfecto. The main courses was a bit more of a mixed bag. I ordered a chicken dish which was as described but very plain. My dad ordered Bolognese and they were accommodating enough to substitute orichiette for the original pasta. Overall, while I personally was not thrilled with the dish that I ordered, I would still recommend this restaurant and would come back myself but ordering something different.

Great real italian restaurant in Manhattan! Service is professional and kind, atmosphere is perfect to entertain conversations, weather is for a business dinner, romantic meal or even just to treat yourself alone at the bar counter! Great selection of wines and I suggest you to try the artichoke salad, my favorite plate! Highly recommended!

My friends and I went here after skating in Central Park. It was on my friend’s radar since it offered gluten-free pasta. The truffle gnocchi was some of the best I’ve ever had. Gnocchi was super light and soft. Truffle flavors were well infused throughout and a handful of truffle slices adorned the top of the dish. Price point was excellent for a dish like this at $32.50. My friends were extremely satisfied with their dishes too. They got the gluten-free pene in white clam sauce and orecchiette with broccoli rabe & Italian sausage. Atmosphere was upscale and sleek. Service was great and they accommodated my friend’s allergies. Will stop by if I am in the area again.

This place is beautiful. Service and atmosphere are awesome. Food was excellent, just a few tiny misses. A touch more salt with pasta and calamari in Frito misto are much larger than expected. But flavor, innovation and execution here is awesome. Can't wait to come back.

Very fancy. LOUD. I couldn't hear a single thing my partner said all night. They were very gracious about us sending an appetizer back because it was bad and didn't charge us for it. I had the pasta with broccoli and sausage, and my partner had the steak. The steak is freaking huge. They said it was the second best steak they've ever had. Would not recommend getting an appetizer if you plan on finishing your food because the serving sizes are huge. The food was very good quality but I don't think it was as high quality as the price suggests. We paid $200+tip for two entrees, an appetizer, and two glasses of wine.

The food was for the most part good, some minor things that could have been done better. Like my pasta was a bit under done. As well, the service was really odd, they were reaching over us eating to fill glasses, and kept knocking plates in to the little table lamp and into each other. It was just a bit unpleasant. So overall it has, for the most part, good food, but not the best service.

Never a bad time here. I have been to Masseria many times as it is my go-to neighborhood Italian restaurant. Almost everything I can remember ordering was very good to great. Good date spot with dessert options near by as well as the Park and Subway

who doesn't love Italian food. My wife and I went there for dinner. Wine selection was big. Food was very good. Cant go wrong with spicy sopressata and chorizo pizza!

Nice Italian restaurant with an extensive wine list. Came for dinner before the Opera and we were very satisfied with the service and meal! We got the beef carpaccio to start which was very fresh. For dinner, we shared the squid ink spaghetti and sea bream - perfect combo to share. I got a glass of montepulciano which was nice and lighter.

Great fine dining place. Food is awesome. Service is courteous and fast. Tiramisu was the best of all, mind blowing and fresh. Reduced one star due to complete disappointment @ Caesar Salad.
