When entering in this street I feel like entering into history. It has stone roads and small business from when this part of the city was founded. Besides that it has so many restaurants that you will be able to find something to taste

They have maintained few of the old buildings. That's really cool to see. There is a old ship and amazing view. Not recommended for winter but if you are lucky to experience fall sun, you are one lucky person. The seating area is amazing surrounded by lot of cool places to hang out or have your food. This place definitely gives out good vibe!

The seaport is a gem of NYC. There's so much to do from dining, shopping, and movies. There is beautiful boutiques and a quaint museum. My favorite part is how charming and picturesque The neighborhood is. It really is a nice change of pace to bring the family and explore.

Went to their outdoor skating rink, it was nice! Lively music and atmosphere. Admission is free with own skates. $35 I believe for rentals. 10/10 would recommend.

My family and I had a great time exploring the area. I got a great cup of coffee, a tasty bite to eat. Explored some cool shops. The primary purpose of our visit was to take a water taxi to see Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. He also had a great close up vie of the Brooklyn Bridge, Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn.

First time coming back here since it was torn down years ago. Its not entirely opened yet, just a portion, the retail(mall)portion is STILL underconstruction from what I saw and have been told from an employee there. The public has access to its new board walk in the mean time which seems very trendy, modern, and clean. The board walks has tables, chairs, and seating towards the water to enjoy the views and relax. Speakers against the wall for music playing, several mini bars serving beer, a couple of restaurants, and great mood lighting provided by the building itself. It is no where near the feel of the old Pier 17. This version feels more commercial as there are constant promotions all over about the roof top shows and schedules. I miss the old Pier 17. I hope theres much more to this once its 100% completed.

I was on these sides at night lovely place. Excellent view and good idea for a photoshoot. Has a good vibes and several restaurants nearby to eat something and share with friends or a simple walk. It has several seats around the river.

Growing up this used to be one of the best places to be. There is not a lot to do, just a bunch of restaurants, lounges, and of course of the boats. The boats are great to look at and be on, but after a while it got boring. Overall, a beautiful sight to be hold. Plus the rooftop concert space isn't to large, but can't wait till Janelle Monae comes!!! 🙌🏾

Love the sign by the port that speaks a volume. Peace, Love and Harmony. The place wasn’t overly crowded and the weather was just beautiful, parking was a bit difficult but it was well worth it.

A change of scenery from the populated chaotic shopping malls of midtown Manhattan to an elegant laid back night out. More slow based compared to the other neighborhood shopping locations, yet this place carries along with it an old spirit of what NYC use to be like with it's cobbled stones and the smell or the harbor. Fast forward and today the facade still stands true and the one lever store fronts are now high-end retail stores and fine dining from all regions. Private yet public. Well known location yet reserved for the new age elite. Enjoyb

Hidden gem. Old and charming historic district. Nice place to go to restaurants. Just a bit sad that 10 Corso Como and other nice places are closing.

Great place to hang out and walk around. It would be nice though if they more restaurants and shops open. With the Seaport Museum currently closed, it would be great if this city had a big waterfront Maritime Museum. But I love the Christmas tree and menorah they put up every year

This place has something for everyone. Offers lots of different restaurants and shoppes. Take a water taxi, cruise, even a helicopter ride. Or just enjoy a nice meal. Excellent view or Brooklyn. Walking distance to multiple subway lines.

I can’t say enough great things about this place. Their bike was amazing. They gave me help on another bike that wasn’t a rental, and remembered me by name when we returned on a very busy day. Could not recommend more !

So nice to walk around or just to relax on a bench to read a book. It has a lovely combination of the city life and the peaceful atmosphere of the sea. Great to take toddlers for a walk too!

Overall, I would love to say that this place is exceptional, I've gone to that mall in the Seaport, and they have cool arts, me and my family went to this place even my cousin Richie likes the view of Manhattan but the mall has three floors and besides I would like to watch the ocean blues, and I would like to say that this place is amazing with artificial paintings and I can see the boats in the ocean.

An excellent getaway right in the City. Just take the A train, C train or M15 bus and you have a fantastic place to unwind. You have nice seating overlooking the water with all kinds of boats, ski jets, yachts, water taxis, etc. There is restaurants, or bring your own food. It's home to IPIC movie theatre and more. It's really nice at night. Hey listen, I can go on and on. But, don't take my word for it, check but out yourselves. Peace.

One of my favorite places in New York. The many restaurants, museums, cobble stoned streets, make for a fun day, but I especially love the best river & bridge views in NYC. You can sit for hours just enjoying the panoramic view. Love it. Highly recommend.

For the holiday season I strive to visit as many areas of the city as possible and the South Street Seaport is always on my list. I find this area is calming and peaceful being located on the water and charming with the stone streets. It is a short walk from the Fulton Street Stop on the 2 or 3 trains. I was there on a weekend night and was comforted in that there were not too many visitors on that evening. It was easy to maintain social distancing while enjoying the white and ivory Christmas Tree and complementing decorations. The shops tend to be closed by 7 PM but there was a selection of restaurants open for the evening. My favorite part of the visit was wandering across the street to Pier 17 to enjoy the view of the skyline. If you are looking for some quiet time and a great view, this a wonderful spot to check out. I look forward to going back and re-visiting the various restaurants in this location.

Great. Plenty of places for walking exercise, nice restaurants and other features. I enjoyed this area during the summer when I lived in New York City.

Beautiful place, but everything was closed even the restroom, even though they know that a lot of people came just to relax in the benches watching the river and the city.

Pier 17 is so beautiful and a great place to eat and drink during the summer. It has about 4 different restaurants, but you definitely need reservations. The rooftop is especially popular. The food is average but I think they know that and know you'll go anyway for the spectacular views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the skyline. Malibu Farms was a great lunch spot to relax by the water.
