Can get very hectic at this location, but overall it is not too hard to find what you need. Just way too crowded a lot of the time! Staff is very friendly and helpful. If you’re looking to shop without the hustle and bustle, go early in the AM right when they open. Also, they now offer Amazon Prime returns and pickup from the hub which is to the right of the escalators (to the left of them if you’re just getting off the escalator!).

There “OK”. But they have more self check out lanes than standard check out? It’s large and crowded as usual, and they do have almost everything. But the funny this about this and all other whole foods, if you walk through the fruits and vegetables section, none have natural scent , isn’t that strange? All theses huge amounts of nature’s produce and none of the produce have a hint of their natural scent.

The Columbus Circle wholefoods is a bit different than others around the city. Typically very packed. However, staff from every level are very friendly and helpful. Don’t always find what I need in stock but at same time find items other locations don’t carry. The self checkout is probably one of the best checkouts out of all the stores who offer it. Making it quick to checkout and never have to wait in line despite the business of customers. Recommend

The store located at lower level, very crowdy at lunch time. The cashier lines and the self pay line are well organized and very quick. Typical Whole Food display, from dairy supplies to nutritional products, almost everything for the daily food need could be located here.

Right in Columbus Circle Whole Foods was super busy. Well stocked and plenty of variety from the butcher, deli and kitchen. We took some pizza a cheese slice and buffalo slice to munch. The buffalo slice was super salty!!

Called in here for a picnic to eat in Central Park on two different occasions. Both times the choice of food available both hot and cold were extensive. You pay for the food by the weight of it. There is some meals already packed up for you. There's cutlery and condiments available as well. Top place and a great choice. Highly recommended

Whole foods is exactly what you get st this organic paradise of healthy eating. I remember when this in the 1980s was an auditorium shabby and dilapidated. Then it became the AOL Time Warner building. That's when wholefoods moved to the ground floor and has since caused a sensation. I visit at least 3 times a week for the variety of buffer like style servings of delicious meals. I often choose from a variety of at least ten soups, my favourite being Maryland style Sea food soup. Average price for lunch is $15 bucks

The Store manager (Shay) and the pizza server are the most unprofessional and rude staff I have ever seen in this place. We tried to buy a slice of pizza at 8:45pm (the store closes at 10pm). The guy lied to us saying that the pizza corner closes at 8:30pm (it’s supposed to close at 9pm). The excuse of the manager (Shay) was that the pizza guy did not understand us because of a ‘language barrier’, that was not the case as this also happened to another family 2 minutes after us. The pizza guy just wanted to clean up and leave early. Instead of reheating the pizzas for all of us he threw all of them away. It’s a shame that Whole Foods allow this to happen way before the announced closing time when we were willing to pay for that food and in a city where many people who can’t even afford to buy food. Finally, when we raised this to the manager (Shay) she just said it was a ‘language barrier’ and ‘nothing she could do’. Very poor customer service provided by Shay. This has been shocking to us because usually everyone is very kind and helpful there…

Well supplied supermarket located right in the Columbus circle. It is always overcrowded here but it is well organized. The hot bar is a good way to get some food but be careful with the portion, $14/lb. There is often quite difficult to find a place to sit but I recommend to take your food to the Central Park.

One of my favorite supermarkets in the Midtown area. Fruit and vegetable are always fresh, a lot of meat choices available daily, hot meals are affordable and very tasty, lots of drinks to choose from, including beer and sodas. Lines, even though are often long, don’t take too much time.

This supermarket always has fresh produce and helpful employees but I went in recently to get a gift card for someone and the very young people at the desk were very dismissive. They pointed oh go over there. I had no idea where they were pointing. They showed me the physical cards to pick from and then again over there. Over where? I assumed they were pointing at the cashiers so I picked up a few things and as I was paying for them, I asked the cashier if I could put money on the gift card. No she said, you would need to have that done at Customer Service and she pointed to the desk where the young woman and man who had dismissed me were. Okay, no time for this so I left. I knew in the past that I had bought gift cards at that desk. When I walked by them, they did not even bother to ask if I had received the gift card. Sometimes young people are not the best at Customer Service. I will get my $50 gift card from somewhere else.

Perfect location. Great for essentials in a busy area. They have a fast process for checkout which is helpful. There are areas to eat in if you like, or you can walk over to the park. There are restrooms here, and also hand washing stations and sanitizer. Stop m for a water or sandwich if you’re visiting and walking through town.

Have shopped here since opening day. Was always a pleasure and good quality items. Quality and value has diminished significantly over past few years - though the prices (as everywhere else) have increased. Hope management will become aware and improve this location.

They have the best in store made cornbread. It's a must purchase every visit. This trip I also purchased their walnut chocolate chewy cookies also made in store . I love the 365 brand sharp cheddar sliced cheese and black forest ham lunch meat to make easy quick lunches with their sourdough bread . I was disappointed to not find any soups in the refrigerated section this visit. My husband always purchases apples from this location. Their produce section is always on point.

So many things are constantly out of stock, got an acai bowl from the freezer, and it was expired...so strange. The store definitely needs more cleaning. I usually get the same things here only, because they are the only good things. Fruits are good only depending on what is in season. Had no luck with any veggies or salads. Veggies are always worse than other stores. Certain meats are good. Chicken is the best! Eggs and dairy are regular. Frozen foods' variety is poor in comparison to other stores. Cheeses are great! Whole cakes are good! Small baked goods depend on freshness. So read the labels. Ready food is good. However, watch out:I have gotten many sandwiches, which were going bad. I do not recommend them. Sushi is always good, but the raw fish section is a little gambling game: got too much of going bad stuff here. Pasta and canned stuff is great! Drinks are out of stock too often and can not rely on getting them. Flowers are never fresh unless you catch them bringing them. They would last a day or two.

For this over priced city, and for families with children, this is a great place to eat healthy food. We sometimes went twice in one day. It’s not only delicious but also enjoyable to be able to choose what they want to eat and eat a little bit of everything. It would be even better if there are more tables and cleaner.

I think Jeffy Boy has made a deal with the devil. This was the only place I’ve been able to find good tomatoes in recent months. It’s always crazy busy and you need a PhD to figure their damn check out, but the employees are very nice.

Update... Someone recently asked whether pets are allowed. Official policy is service animals only, but they don't check. Tonight there was an argument between a customer and the security, because there was a pet next to the salad and hot food bar. Great location at Deutche Bank center... Smallish store... Hard to find produce most times... Some team members look like they have been dragged to work, they could not care less... Some like the ones at customer service are wonderful... So if you are lucky, you see the ones who are genuinely happy to be there... Good luck if you need help and you only find people like Christine - not sure of her name's spelling as she disappeared quickly after a disastrous so called help that needed fixing of the customer service...

Fast wait time for my purchased grocery items at the Whole Foods section. The front counter representative was quick work instructions on where to wait for my order. I'm highly satisfied and will definitely be choosing this location again at Columbus Circle to pick up orders. Ironically, it was busy, and I was only waiting 5 minutes. I was on my lunch break and was able to enjoy my lunch without rush eating. Thank you, Amazon Market crew, at Columbus Circle. I appreciate your caring service.

The only place to find distilled water while visiting the Big Apple! This store is so busy you really don’t have time to even think. It was a great experience.

Great prices. Very clean. Loved that there was a restroom. Loved that there were tables to eat at. It was stocked well. It was crowded, but the store is so big. I wouldn't have noticed until I got to checkout. There were so many self checkouts availability that I decided to use. The line for checkhout with a cashier was running just as smoothly. Many cashiers were working.

The whole food on 125th carries a limited amount of products. Although, it is still convenient. The buffet is rather lame. The food has a lackluster taste to it. Very inconsistent. Don't switch the food up enough. It's also very inconsistent. You know when you taste the food and one day it's not so good and the next day is better than the last.

Good food selection and love they have a decent size seating area to have a meal. It can get very noisy though, with people rushing about. The overall design of the store is a bit confusing too.

At the return desk for Amazon I ran into very patient, professional workers. Always seemed willing to bag an item and to help with your returns. While I was there, I decided to pick up a few food items. I am very frustrated with this particular store's checkout process. The self-checkout area seems to commingle with the checkout that requires a cashier. I was new to this store. I've been there twice. And both times I was reprimanded...once by another customers and once by a worker. I didn't understand the intricate process of moving from these two lines to the appropriate place. The second time I mistakenly followed TWO other customers to the self checkout, only to be stopped, and almost rudely asked where I thought I was going. I had accidently cut into the line where others were waiting to check out their own groceries. I was following the other two that seemed to have the knack at sneaking past the take eyes off the staff. While I was being made to feel like a bad child, my two bad examples were calmly checking out their several items of groceries. I CERTAINLY agree that it was not cool to cut in line. So I sheepishly got in another line to wait my turn. All the while I was trying not to be too self-conscious from all the stares I was getting from the "honest" people in line. If I have to go to another whole foods market, I probably will not go to this one! I have shopped at many whole foods markets. I once lived in Boulder. I went three or four times a week. Never, have I had the confusion of checking out to pay for my groceries as I've had at this store.

A crowded, chaotic, insanely popular Whole Foods location that still manages to stay well-stocked and tolerable. The shelves are always full and organized, the employees are polite, and the checkout line is civil and moves briskly. There's not much to complain about other than the sheer quantity of customers you're likely to encounter during a daytime shopping trip.
