Wow the pizza here is so good!! Highly recommend the Artichoke Pizza (obviously!)—and the Crab Pizza is good too. The “Sampler” is your best option because you can mix and match your pizza choices—it comes with 3 slices. This place is like a dive bar, nothing fancy but the pizza and cocktails were great.

Decently spacious place to eat in Manhattan. Their famous artichoke pizza is what I got. Listen, this a delicious pizza BUT it is very overwhelming. It's a slice you'll want to share with someone. You run the risk of getting flavor fatigue. Even get another slice to switch between the 2 flavors maybe

I had a great experience at this place with the food, service, and ambiance. It is one of the busiest place in midtown. It is good for cheese lovers because the pizzas are super cheesy and slices are big enough. I tried the artichoke and crab pizza.

Service was a little slow, despite being quite empty. A ridiculous amount of single use plastic & paper plates - is it not more cost effective to just buy a dish washer and wash the cutlery? The plastic forks and knives were awful at cutting the pizza too. Food portions were huge! So great value of money here. Probably wouldn’t both coming again though, even though the experience was 4/5

Delicious pizza at good prices. The team is very nice. The food was quickly on the table. I liked the atmosphere in the restaurant. Three pizza slices are enough for two people. They cost $20.

Review Title: "Artichoke Basille's Pizza - Chelsea: A Fulfilling Experience in Every Slice" Review: Located in the vibrant neighborhood of Chelsea, Manhattan, Artichoke Basille's Pizza offers a solid dining experience, marrying excellent service, an inviting ambiance, and tasty, generously-portioned pizza slices. I opted for pleasantly uncluttered and cozy indoor seating on my recent lunch visit, providing a warm refuge from the busy streets. The premises are well-kept, with clean tables and a small sports bar area featuring a large TV for those looking to keep up with their favorite sports. To complement the atmosphere, a selection of rock music played in the background, enhancing the overall experience without overpowering conversations. The staff was courteous and helpful, adding to the comfortable ambiance. Despite the larger-than-average pizza slices - something they alert you to on their menu - the food was served promptly, ensuring a timely dining experience. As for the food, I indulged in two different pizza slices: the Margarita and the signature Artichoke. The Margarita slice was pleasing, albeit not extraordinary. However, the Artichoke slice shone through with its rich, robust flavors, living up to its flagship status. The pizza slices were indeed significant, and each cut into two halves - I found myself comfortably satiated with one and a half slices, taking the remaining half home for later enjoyment. While the total cost of over $27 for two slices and a Diet Coke may seem a tad high, it's important to remember that Artichoke Basille's Pizza is no ordinary pizzeria. The price point is justified by their more significant portions, the quality of the ingredients, and the overall dining experience. You're not just paying for the pizza; you're investing in a satisfying culinary experience in the heart of Manhattan. Artichoke Basille's Pizza: Chelsea location provides an enjoyable lunch stop that doesn't disappoint. Its blend of good food, pleasant atmosphere, and friendly service make it a worthy destination for any pizza lover in the city. I certainly relished my time there and anticipated my next visit.

Got two slices of artichoke pizza and they were delicious! Also this location is very close to the high line park. We had it with a great view.

I came here last time about 7 years ago and the artichoke pizza was the best pizza I've tried, but just cam3 back this week and definitely has a different flavor. The pizza was extremely salty. I used to have to make a big line to get in here and this time the place was empty. Not sure what happened but it's not what it was used to be.

ordered the vodka, artichoke and crab pizza. very generous portions so good for sharing. the crab was quite good, especially with red pepper flakes on top. the vodka one was okay but i prefer thinner slice pizzas. i was disappointed with the artichoke pizza as i thought it was way too thick, creamy and salty. with that much cream and salt on a pizza, it gets a bit overwhelming to eat, especially since this is a big slice.

Good beer selection, great vibe, but the most amazing feature is the artichoke pizza. Thick, creamy, and a whole pie will be enough to feed a party of four.

Nice thin crust pizza with a fresh, uncomplicated sauce. Satisfied our four hungry stomachs with 3 slices among us for lunch. Beers on tap, strong cocktails and wine. Would stop in again if going to Chelsea Market. Much quieter and relaxing spot to enjoy a meal with friends.

Ahhh, another Manhattan pizza discovery while in Chelsea for a gallery opening. Artichoke pizza was tasty and creamy with a crunchy crust. LARGE slices for dine in or take out which is a standing room thing. Great atmosphere with music and friendly service. Open til 4am...what!

Great service, good taste, we have tried the artichoke & crab pizza. It tasted good, but we should have tried the margarita with tomato sauce. Thanks to the service!

Thick and heavy is how I would describe the pizza here. It is very filling. If you are hitting multiple good spot, definitely try to share a slice or 2. It does taste very good but is a bit heavy for me. I do recommend all my friend from out of town to come get a slide when they are in nyc

Fun service! Best pizza I’ve ever had; creamy artichoke pizza, not something I’d usually think of ordering. Great prices. We ate it up in the High Line on benches overlooking the Statue of Liberty and Mother Teresa & Ghandi mural.

Loved it. We were a group of 4. Ordered a slice of Artichoke and a big pie half pepperoni and half margherita. The pizza is amazing and delicious. The slices are super big. It’s right next to Chelsea market. Don’t go by there without stopping here. You will not regret it. The staff is friendly.

Came here around midnight and got the best pizza. Flavor is amazing, pie was made fresh for us and we sat down and just chilled for a bit. The staff is great and welcoming. Pizza was delicious, toasted just right, dough tastes great, thin but without enough dough. We ordered half margherita and half stayed island. Both incredible.

One of the best pizza I've ever had was an artichoke pizza from this spot. Creamy and savory ! Definitely would recommend this spot to anyone looking for something unique and tasty.

I haven’t really tried any of their slices except the Artichoke so can’t really comment on anything else. The artichoke pizza is pretty much the only reason I visit this place, and this slice is BIG and juicy and sure to fill you up. They have a limited menu consisting of pizzas that you can buy as a whole pie or as slices, which is a plus. They also have a bar and dining area as well which is usually packed. Located close to Chelsea Market and open late, must visit if you looking to grab a slice while in area. I have tried the same pizza from their NJ Hoboken branch as well, but here it just tastes divine. Staff is friendly and courteous.

Kind/nice service & good pizza! We loved the signature pizza with the artichoke, but our #1 was Staten Island (meatball pizza). Definitely the best sized pizza in town ;)

This is by far the best pizza I ever had, period. In my 7days stay in NYC, I had their pizza for 4 times which says how much I loved their pizza. Every slice is made in heaven. Crab pizza is something everyone must try apart from their very famous Artichoke slice and Margarita slice. Highly recommend for everyone to try their pizzas when in NYC. Any branch of theirs has same tastes maintained so go to any branch nearby.

My boyfriend and I tried different variety of pizza slices and it was delicious. We were completely satisfied. The staff are great and welcoming. They all served us great. Thank you it was great.

Now I understand all the hype about New York pizza! The Staten Island and Meatball Parm are all delicious. The tomato sauce is out of this world.

Having heard rave reviews about Artichoke Pizza, I was excited to finally try it out. I eagerly ordered their famed artichoke pizza, but to my dismay, it turned into a regrettable experience. The pizza, laden with heavy cream, triggered severe acid reflux, completely ruining what should have been a delightful meal. Disappointingly, despite my discomfort, the staff adamantly refused to replace just one slice. This turned what could have been a memorable dining experience into the worst pizza ordeal I've ever encountered. My disappointment was not only culinary but also in the lack of empathy from the establishment. Needless to say, I left with both an unsatisfied palate and an uncomfortable stomach, vowing never to return. I ended up taking all the cheese off my pizza and ate the bread because of how bad it was.
