I saw this Periscope Coffee station for the first time on Tuesday, February 11, but was not able to make a purchase until today, Friday, February 14, 2020. And I AM in love with Periscope Coffee! The barista who made my coffee had a great, light-hearted personality. All of the people who love and adore me would love if I had this guy's chill personality; truth be told, so do I! I AM almost never in this part of Manhattan, but was so happy to stop for a coffee at this location earlier today.

Consistently excellent affordable espresso prepared by some of the friendliest people you might ever meet in NYC. Kind and personal, yet quick and efficient service if you're in a rush. All the benefits of a place that truly cars about the coffee they're serving with none of the pretentious attitude. Love this place.

These folks really care about coffee. Jared is genuinely friendly and concerned with making customers happy. And the coffee is great. I only wish the pricing was a little different so larger sizes were a better value.

A cute little coffee cart in Fidi! The barista is super friendly and hospitable. He definitely has a good sense of humor too! It's a great place to get quick coffee to-go. They accept apple pay!!! I'm always relieved to not have to dig into my bag to find my wallet. All in all, great service and good coffee. I got an iced oat cortado with a dark chocolate flavor shot. I usually like to taste the bitterness of the espresso in my coffee which was slightly missing. It could've been overpowered with the chocolate. Regardless, it was delicious and I would love to stop by and try something new the next time I am around! Update - this place has become my favorite coffee spot in FiDi! I tried it a couple more times and fell in love. I would like to revise my previous review and comment that with the latte, the espresso and dark chocolate was completely balanced! P.S. - the sun wasn't very cooperative in the pictures I took, sorry about the quality!

Very friendly service. Just learned about this place (it's on the app "cups") so I was excited to give it a try. Was bummed to learn they were closing and almost out of coffee, but Jared hooked me up with a medium on the house! And while free coffee is always good, the fact that it was actually delicious makes it even better. Prices looked decent and the presentation is on point. Always good to have another solid coffee option in the neighborhood, and I'm predisposed to favoring anything owner operated, so this will be in my rotation.

Its hard to find Lavazza coffee shop in NYC but when you do rest assured it will be a great experience. These guys are top notch professionals. I love grabbing a coffee in the morning and being greeted by Great Coffee and a Smile. These guys always have a smile on there faces even the cold and rain. Hope you enjoy as much as I do.

I pass by this cart every day on my way from the subway and these guys are out there rain or shine, hot or cold. They're incredibly friendly, the coffee is good, and the price is the best you can get for good coffee in the neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Everything about this little coffee shop is perfect. Jared and Nick, the owners, greet you every morning by name and know your order. Not only that, but the Espresso is by far the best I've had in NYC. I go out of my way to stop here every morning and sometimes in the afternoons.

Everything about this experience was amazing. This beautiful cart was built by Jared the owner/operator and is situated in a cute little park in the FIDI. I've been here a few times and have tried black iced coffee, espresso, and some tasty specials; all delicious. Great coffee, great customer service, great prices. You won't be disappointed!

I’m writing this review as I sip on Periscope’s delicately formulated Iced Mocha Latte. I have been visiting Jared’s coffee cart for over a year now and I retain my opinion of him serving the best coffee in NYC. From his iced coffees to hot lattes, the precision in which his coffees are crafted leaves me with awe sip after sip. I encourage anyone visiting or working in FiDi to come to Periscope and savor the glorious coffee drinks served by Jared and his crew.
