I've
never
before
left
a
negative
review
online,
even
after
plenty
of
poor
dining
experiences.
Every
restaurant
has
their
off-nights,
after
all.
But
at
Commodore...
they
consistently
treat
customers
with
apathy
and
a
"we
don't
need
your
business"
attitude,
assuming
their
locally
famed
chicken
and
a
good
location
will
keep
new
customers
rolling
in,
even
if
they
don't
return
again.
The
volume
of
heavily
negative
reviews
due
to
poor
treatment
from
arrogant
bar
staff
are
not
unwarranted
or
coincidental.
I'm
fine
with
staff
being
direct,
at
times
in
New
York
it's
almost
famed,
something
staff
play
up
to
as
part
of
the
dining
experience.
Not
at
Commodore
-
it's
just
inexplicable,
legitimate
arrogance.
The
food,
while
fine,
is
absolutely
nowhere
near
good
enough
to
justify
the
attitude
that
comes
with
it.
The
complacency
is
remarkable,
and
eventually
I
think
it
will
cost
them.
And
when
it
does,
the
'too
cool
to
be
here'
bartenders
will
move
on
elsewhere
without
a
care,
and
the
owners
might
be
left
regretting
never
addressing
a
single
one
of
the
negative
reviews
you
could
read
(notice
no
replies
to
anyone,
either
positive
or
negative),
or
making
the
slightest
attempt
to
improve.
The
money
must
be
too
good
for
now
to
make
the
effort..
but
it
never,
ever
lasts.
My
advice
to
others
in
the
neighborhood,
or
anyone
visiting:
take
your
money
to
any
of
the
other
much
more
deserving
local
businesses
that
won't
treat
you
with
total
contempt.
I
regret
giving
this
place
multiple
chances,
and
more
fool
me
for
doing
so.
