The quality of the food is not the same. I was excited to finally get some roti and curry but I was so disappointed. The buss up shot was hard and dry. The mango was not cooked and seasoned. The pumpkin chunks were way too big. All this food going in the garbage. The roti was like cardboard. I have to find a new spot.

Whenever I come to NY, this is one of my go-to spots for West indian cuisine. Highly recommend. We ordered doubles and pholourie. Which were both delicious, but the doubles were spicy. There was a lineup, but it moved fast. The music and vibes were good. My only suggestion is letting the staff know how spicy you want your doubles.

I came across this place visiting out of town, while staying nearby. It was busy every time I stepped inside. This is like a cantina place. There are tables but no table service. Prices seemed very reasonable. The server went out of her way to describe and show me what food they were serving, since I had very little clue what things were. Every time I was served by a different server, they were all equally great. If you're a sandwich person, you must try Aloo. It's a fried dough, (imagine an unflavored long John) with mashed potatoes inside and they add your choice of meat. The food was cooked well and delicious.

We arrived at JFK from Spain, and after the long flight we were craving roti. Going by reviews, we drove to Trinciti Roti Shop only to find out they are closed on Monday’s. So, next up, Singh’s Roti Shop, and glad we found this place! We bought $60 worth of lamb and vegetarian roti, as well as several doubles and currant rolls. Everything was delicious, and the roti’s are huge! You can choose what sides to add to the roti, and everything appeared freshly made. And we arrived at the right time because the line after us was 12 strong! This place is popular and for good reason; among the best roti we have had in NYC… 5 stars all the way!

Lovely food that was both good in flavour, choice and texture. When I went there was a queue that took a few minutes to pass but there was plenty of table and seat space. Nice atmosphere

Well organised for customers with lots of choices. Roti, doubles, curries etc. The queues are orderly and the staff efficient at serving. Ordered doubles and roti to go

First time here. The West Indian food is delicious and varied. This is a walk-up place where you order and can take your food back to a table or take out. My only issue is extremely loud music that is played in the background. This makes it difficult to have a conversation with someone you are dining with.

This is my to go place anytime I am in New York, it gives me that back home atmosphere. Lots of room to dine in, you won’t be able to resist dancing or singing while you wait in line. While lines can reach all the way to the door, the music and laughter coming from the bar will take your mind off the wait. Singh’s always have a full staff present that assist each customer, who pays attention to your specific needs, the variety of Trinidad food and deserts is amazing. You can find almost anything in this restaurant, the food is delicious and always the perfect temperature, I have tried almost everything on the menu. I would advised though to have the Trinidad fried rice package separately if you’re traveling and do not plan to eat it soon. They have the best customer service and food prices, top of my list for my authentic Trinidad food.

I enjoy the food and friendly service. I like that you have someone to maintain the customer dining area. However, as a long time customer I would like to offer a few recommendations. The customer dining area needs an update, please change that old garbage bin (one look at it causes me to lose my appetite!!!) Chairs are so noisy when we have to pull it out, some plastic caps for the legs will make them quieter! I'm sure you can see other areas of improvement to raise the ambience of the dining area. I would like to bring some friends from other cultures to try the trini food but maybe after your updates! Looking forward to seeing it! Thanks!

I wanted to try some more Guyanese food since I tried it two weeks ago and I was looking forward to try this place and I was disappointed. The food was a disappointment. I felt like it wasn’t seasoned enough. I got stew chicken with roti and veggie chow mein. I did try the Pholourie which was absolutely delicious 😋

Love coming to Singh's Restaurant for their great food and service. Any time of day we go, they have a line but it shortens so quickly that you don't feel you have to wait. We love ordering the pepper shrimp fried rice and their doubles. Their food is very tasty and their portions are large enough to eat again. It is also very good price. Love coming here and will order again!

The food is soo good I ate here twice on my vacation. I felt like I was in Trinidad. So much to choose from I ate doubles both times. They were soo good. I also took lo mein on the plane home with me and I even ate it for work the next day so yummy. Macrons pie was ok could have had more flavor. But the second day looked better. I was to fill to try it again. The eggplant roti was to die for I didn’t even get to take a picture it was that good.

The food is delicioussss, had a lunch special with spinach and curry goat which was flavorful and falling off the bone, not to mention the portions was huge. I had left overs for home and the roti (I never had) but I dip and scoop and omg sooo good. I think ima go back tomorrow 😍😋 the short, older lady with glasses was also SO SWEET give her a raise 🙌🏼 I have to bring my mom here next time she come to Queens!! 👍🏼⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've been meaning to post this place for a while. The food here is delicious. Plan on takeout and enjoy anywhere but there. Service is cool. Efficiency is all they care about, but this system of individual servers behind the counter seems cockamamy. Any way... Food makes everything all right.

I’m a huge Singh’s fan, the food is always tasty and good amount of variety. Only thing I would mention is the bussup/paratha used to be flaky and nice now the last couple of times I’ve bought it’s not like traditional flaky bussup.anymore. Other than that can’t go wrong & well worth the trip from NJ!

I called to place an order for catering and the woman on the phone took her time to go over the menu items and prices. After I placed the order, I received a text confirming my downpayment. The day I collected my food Half Trays • BBQ Chicken • Chinese Style Chicken • Potato Salad • Vegetable Lo Mein • Macaroni Pie • Pepper Shrimp Full Tray • Vegetable Fried Rice It was very well packed. The food smelled so good especially the pepper shrimp (highly recommend)! The amount of food in the trays was more than enough for my event. People ate and took home food as well. EVERYONE loved the food; it was very tasty and delicious. Would definitely order again from here and recommend anyone who would like to cater, here is your spot!

Been here a few times and every time I do, it's pretty crowded. The food selection is big and food is good. They also have a nice bar too.

You are doing yourself a serious injustice if you don’t visit this restaurant as a West Indian or a tourist that wants a reminder of their last vacation experience. The selection are wide and far reaching in a few different cultures. Eat up and thank me later.
