The Bowery Hotel looks and feels like a glamorous 100 year hangout where movie stars used to frequent, but we discovered it is only 20 years old! We got a great corner room on the eighth floor which affords an amazing view of the Manhattan night skyline. There was plenty of room and the decor was lovely. What really stands out is the amazing service the hotel staff showed. No matter was too big or too small for the staff to assist us with. The entire staff were friendly, engaged and seemed to really care. We also enjoyed the hotel restaurant where the food was delicious and the service top notch.

The staff was very friendly. The service is great! Took service is available 24 hours and I love the complementary bikes. We rode our bikes to China Town and Little Italy early one morning. The room was nice (deluxe king). I wish the backyard didn’t look as shabby. I believe it is not part of the hotel property though. The hotel is “old looking” with very dark elevators and hallways. One thing I will say is that access to non guests overwhelmed me when we first arrived. It felt more like a club downstairs than a nice hotel. We could not hear the noise upstairs, so that didn’t bother us once we went up. I just would rather not deal with locals coming in and out of a hotel lobby for drinks.

My recent stay at The Bowery Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, earning it a well-deserved five-star rating. The Bowery Hotel’s attention to detail is evident in every aspect of its design. The decor exudes a perfect blend of classic charm and contemporary style, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. The thoughtfully curated furnishings and artwork add a touch of sophistication that sets this hotel apart. The rooms are a haven of comfort, featuring plush bedding, luxurious amenities, and a meticulous attention to cleanliness. The seamless integration of modern conveniences with classic aesthetics enhances the overall experience, ensuring a stay that is both indulgent and comfortable. The staff at The Bowery Hotel is a standout feature. Courteous, professional, and attentive, they go above and beyond to cater to guests’ needs. Whether providing recommendations for local attractions or ensuring a smooth check-in process, their dedication to customer service is truly commendable. The Bowery Hotel’s prime location adds another layer of appeal. Situated in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood, it offers easy access to iconic landmarks, trendy boutiques, and a diverse culinary scene. This central location enhances the overall convenience and enjoyment of the stay. In conclusion, The Bowery Hotel exceeded all expectations, delivering a five-star experience that defines luxury hospitality. From its exquisite design to impeccable service and prime location, this hotel sets the standard for a memorable and indulgent stay in New York City. Highly recommended for those seeking an elevated and refined accommodation experience.

Really great event room with just OK hotel rooms. The ambiance of the hotel is dark or cozy, which is a bit odd. A Bit musty. The service is good. The rooms are typically NYC small, and the beds need to be updated to the comfort level of bigger hotels. Good experience and the wedding event was beautiful, the food was good .

The level of hospitality shown by the staff of the Bowery Hotel is the epitome of care and concern. I was only there for one evening but from the moment I walked in I was greeted with friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. The rooms are EXACTLY what you see in the pictures which in my experience does not happen very often. I thought I lost my coat and the staff found it and offered to hold it for me while I was at tea and out sight seeing with friends. In Colorado most hotels would have told me to come back immediately. Amidst a global and economic downturn the Bowery Hotel has continued to provide unsurpassed care and attention to each and every guest that has the honor of staying at this fine hotel. I’m glad to say I will happily stay there when I visit New York again.

Very reminiscent of some of the classic London hotels. Fabulous service and super clean. Only complaint is the small bathroom, but definitely not a deal breaker.

We had the absolute BEST stay at the Bowery! The hotel is gorgeous and cozy and just oozes charm. The staff was friendly, the lobby bar has a lovely fireplace, the drinks were delicious, etc. They really thought of everything, including putting copious amounts of outlets in each room. Highly recommend if you're looking for something in this part of the city.

One of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in NYC, (I stay often). The property is stunning, attention to detail amazing and the staff were wonderful. Every detail was considered right down to the SASE in the room (so you can provide feedback directly to the owners). I've been obsessed with Eric Goode since reading about AREA when I was in my teens, came in to celebrate my 50th. Worth every penny.

I was there for an event and I thought the hotel staff, the wait staff, the house production team ... all A+! So professional, helpful and responsive. It's also a really cool space. Little bit of wear and tear but that adds to the charm. I would totally host an event there in the future.

Dripping in taste and style. I wish the towels were more squishy and plump but that's my only feedback.

I was nervous for the stay b/c I know NYC hotel rooms can be so small. This place blew me away. The room wasn't massive, but larger than I expected. Space for 2 nightstands, small table w/2 chairs and a desk/dresser. But it was the staff and the details that leave me with such great memories. The front desk staff of Joseph, Calista & Marley were amazing. They were friendly, approachable, fun and incredibly helpful. They answered all of my questions and gave me great recommendations. 10/10 for them! I also loved all of the small details that added so much charm to this hotel. A vintage rug (or seemed like it) in the room, the teddy bear on the bed, the room keys, embroidered duvet, the lamps, the service/clean my room signs - even the mini bar and towel holders were charming! And a self-addressed stamp envelope on the desk for feedback. Every detail was thought of. Even when we called the front desk twice for things we needed they were up within 5 minutes. And there was the most charming bar and lounge room. I love every part of this hotel and would love to come back!

My wife and I usually stay at the mid-tier Marriott or Hilton brand hotels in NYC. Thought we would go a little higher end here at The Bowery and it was worth it! What a great experience! The customer service was amazing! Kudos to Chase :)

Came here for a few drinks after dinner. Nice scene. Staff are nice and attentive and funny. Drinks are great. Loungy Indoor seating for drinks if you want it cool. And loungy outdoor but enclosed seating if you want it a little warmer.

Hands down the best hotel in this area. Their service is impeccable and the rooms with the bathroom that overlooks the city are unbeatable. My wife always complains about the beds in hotels and absolutely loves the beds here. The food, the people, the ambiance is all so seamless it’s really an experience staying here.

I recently visited New York City and stayed at The Bowery Hotel. The hotel's unique personality and ambiance, which combine classic and modern design elements, produce a warm and welcoming setting that is really one-of-a-kind. The luxurious, private room was tastefully furnished with all the conveniences required for a comfortable stay.

I went to the restaurant in this hotel. My New York strip steak was out of this world. It was seasoned so well. The atmosphere was calm & cool.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but stopped in for drinks at the hotel bar. Like stepping back in time....very old school, warm and friendly. The service and cocktails were great.

Beautiful hotel in downtown Manhattan that has a unique vintage decor that screams New York. The room was great and had a huge bathroom. The lobby-bar was awesome, great cocktails.

Got "stuck" here one night after a canceled flight and boy were we impressed. The rooms of ample size surprised us, as did the deep soaking tub in the luxuriously appointed bathroom. We had a great view of Bowery and all of the restaurants and sundries we could ever need only just a block away.

The absolute kindest hotel and front desk staff, an unforgettable trip in this stunning hotel. The most comfortable bed and pillows EVER. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is a gem. Starting from beautiful interior all over, and ending with helpful accommodating staff who do everything to make guests happy. We booked Queen Deluxe room with a bathroom with a window. I called the hotel to make sure I would have that window before booking. They said all Queen Deluxe rooms have that. Unfortunately when we checked in, we were given a worse room. On the next day they checked us in the right room and made additional arrangements to make our stay as joyful as possible. It’s worth coming over to the lobby, lounge and bar even if you don’t stay in the hotel. Just beautiful.

Management is very rude but staff are nice. My husband and I walked in and asked to sit outside, there were plenty of tables and it was 4:30 on a Sunday. The server said sure and then the manager asked if we were staying at the at the hotel, when we said no, he said oh sorry I can’t let you sit outside. We could have stayed but we definitely won’t and will not in the future.

I photographed Katie and Evan's beautiful wedding here during the spring. I highly recommend it! The event rooms are big and photograph really well. I loved cocktail hour being indoors and outdoors. There was tons of room for dancing and the guests made great use of it!

ONE OF THE WORST dining experiences I’ve ever had. It’s easily 100$ a seat and for my date and I expecting a semi professional and delicious dinner, it was FAR from it. The waiter approached and said, “So are you going to order something?”. He had no knowledge of any specials, didn’t bring bread, took both of our orders and delivered the salad, appetizer and entre at the exact same time. Had no information on any wines… just poured my glass first full first, then my girlfriends. When I asked that we be able to eat our salads and appetizer first, he put the entree’s under a heat lamp and brought the exact same dishes back, 20 min later cold. This was literally one of the most abysmal displays of hospitality I’ve seen in living in the city the last 20 years.

The bed was SO comfortable I wanted to stay in all morning! Charming sexy little hotel. The staff, especially in the lobby bar are so cool and switched on. I am going to become a regular.

Just a huge shoutout to Esther, had a few questions regarding my upcoming reservations over the phone and I have to say her politeness and patience with me was much appreciated and exemplary of first class service, customer service. skills were amazing. A Marriott member with over 200 nights a year, I was impressed!

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ .ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a room. This web site will compare thousands of hotel sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of my favorites in the area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't be let down. It had been nearly a decade since I spent significant time at this home away from home. Was wonderful to feel that old Bowery Hotel warmth.

It's not a Hotel anymore it a run down place that needs to be gutted out and build something nice in place of it it has old clients that been here forever in they need to buy them to get a new place it stinks and the inside of it look like a junkyard full of rubbish. I work here no one should even be working here.

There was a toenail clipper on the floor, with toenails all around it when we checked in, the door to the wardrobe was almost completely hanging off, the pull to the shower valve came right off, no fridge, ironing board but no iron. Other than the general disrepair of the place, it was fine. The staff was nice, the AC worked, the bed was comfortable, and it was less expensive than other nearby options.

As a weekly traveler for business, I am very picky about hotels and this one is now one of my favorites! This unique building that is relatively new construction with and old world feel inside is both beautiful and intriguing. In the heart of a wonderful neighborhood, the rooms are peaceful even with the floor to ceiling windows that reveal the beauty of NYC - if you can get an eastern facing view, the sunrise is worth getting up for! The service is perfect - just enough to make you feel cared for, but not overbearing. The restaurant and special events venues are stunning and the food delicious. As someone who spends almost 100 nights a year in hotels... this one is a gem!

Came here for a work dinner/party. We had the whole upstairs reserved (all bars, tables, rooms etc). Steak was the main for dinner which was lovely. Staff really friendly and attentive. Would be a perfect spot for a small wedding. Would definitely look to book future work events here. Only downside is that with it only being on the second floor no outstanding views. Its was march so was too cold to go on the balcony but looked pleasant out there.

My husband and I experienced wonderful hospitality and attentiveness from hotel staff during our weekend stay. Every single human we encountered was helpful, respectful, and kind. We loved the detail in our rooms - down to the plates, silverware and glasses! Our room was spacious and very clean. Thank you, Bowery staff!

Where the cool stars stay! Beautiful hotel with a fireplace in lobby, delicious Italian restaurant, solid cocktails, and home to many special events. Has a generator and has stayed operational when other places haven’t.

We just stayed here for the 1st time. This place is awesome. I mean truly awesome. The hotel itself is stunning. The entire staff was really friendly and on the money with everything. Honestly, we have no desire to stay anywhere else in NYC. We have found our place. The lounge staff were without a doubt the most friendly, upbeat and enjoyable group of people you could ask for.. super cool.. all of them.. The food is excellent, try their pizza. It will blow you away. 24hr room service is flawless. Rooms were amazing and super clean. They also have the coolest elevators I have ever been in. I seriously thought about just hanging out in the elevators all day and having my drinks in them. I could have probably slept in them too, even as comfortable as our room bed was. We highly recommend staying here at the Bowery Hotel. I really think this is the most awesome hotel in NYC. Well worth the money.

I didn't stay in a room, I was fortunate enough to be a guest of a gathering that went on. The Bowery Hotel has a Beautiful ambiance with rustic accents all around a intimate and cozy feel. The fire place in the lobby superb a plus plus plus. Their is a bar and a restaurant there aswell which too me it seemed as though there were multiple lol. By saying that the hotel seemed bigger than it was. It's not cramped feels like you can find a nice cozy spot and just enjoy your time with someone special or people watch, because New York does have some of the most beautiful people you will see 😏. I enjoyed every moment of the the hotel that I know when I go back I will experience something new. Check it out you will not be disappointed.

Best lodging experience we have had in NYC! It's expensive, but just perfect! We spent 2021 Xmas in the hotel, it was a 7 day stay for us! The lobby and the bar have an old wood cabin look and feel! Check in was quick and efficient! Room was big and full of great amenities. The view of the east village amazing! Bed was confortable, we had a table for 2 and the bathroom was clean, modern with a superb shower! Closet space was small, but this is NYC. Room service was impecable, with lots of options and it was quick. Food was delicious. At nights, after our dinner around town, we came to the lobby for drinks and sat by the wood fire, best way to end our night. Location! In the east village, near SOHO, Little Italy, lower east, Washington Square and Union Square. Near amazing bars and restaurants! Lots of nightlife nearby. If you don't mind spending $$$ on a hotel, this is the best option to stay away from crowds and travel more like a local!

Loved my stay during a short trip to NYC. The hotel staff all went above and beyond to make the stay special. Everyone was kind and very helpful. Nice restaurants and bar and both were good. Bar service was very friendly and drinks were delicious. Now, the room! It was amazingly huge for a nyc hotel. And it was immensely clean and beautiful. I loved my welcome treats. I adored the bathroom! What a fabulous bathtub and exceptional amenities. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the closet space. And the style was elegant and very upscale. Housekeeping was awesome. This is definitely in my top 5 nyc hotels list!

Another great stay at the Bowery! Stayed here for some Christmas in New York fun and for a big birthday and anniversary celebration. They had champagne and cupcakes waiting in the room for us for the special occasions which was a really sweet touch. Staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Lobby bar is always cozy and they reserve it for guests first. I left a phone charger in the room, and they even emailed to ask if I wanted it back. First class and a fantastic location.

I recently visited the Bowery Hotel lounge in New York and I have to say, it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The manager, Mario, was incredibly warm and helpful. I really enjoyed his friendly and welcoming attitude. The cocktails were delicious! I especially liked the espresso martinis. The bar had a classic style and was very cozy. It was one of my favorite spots to hang out during the weekend. I highly recommend the Bowery Hotel. It was a great experience and I can’t wait to go back. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere was perfect for a night out.
