A truly unique shopping mall in one of the most favored places in the entire world. The architecture and design of this structure are breath taking. The large and open futuristic design makes you forget for a second the area is filled with a large variety of great stores to go to. My favorite part of this mall is the direct access to the path trains on the bottom floor. You can conveniently get anywhere in the city or even back to New Jersey for just a few dollars any time of the day. A must visit location, especially if you like shopping malls.

State of the art shopping centre; creative architecture structure. The center has access to NY metro and NJ train stations. The mall has various shops and cafes. There is mobile charing room next to the restrooms of the first floor. Escalators take you from floor to another as well as the elevator.

Beautiful shopping mall with a choice of eateries. We had morning coffee at Joe & The Juice, explored the area, OWO and 911 museum, then some retail therapy before lunch in Eataly, which was delicious! The building itself is worth a visit simply to experience its serene atmosphere and elegance!

The architect is spectacular and overall very nice, but as someone who doesnโ€™t know anything about it and first time being there, I struggled a lot looking for places as the map has no detail and signs are confusing. I walked in circles trying to find food. And at the end when trying to get on the subway to uptown I ended up buying the wrong fare and got in the PATH which is right next to itโ€ฆ. The signs could be made easier for visitors to understand.

New Yorkโ€™s Best Mall!! As it stands, NYC has an amazing Mall and tourist attraction that surpasses all others. I went for a photo walk recently and ended up coming back to take pictures of my daughter. At the time of me posting this, the Holiday season is in full swing so there is a lot offer you when you go visit. Restaurants, Santa and some of the most breathtaking views an indoor mall has to offer. When you go, dress is layers as itโ€™s quite warm and the mall is huge so you will be walkingโ€ฆ a lot. I promise, this will be a time to remember.

I always find this area worth stopping to capture some memories We all have sad memories of what happened on 9/11 somehow time and history left a scar on the USA, however, the American spirit endured and the light was able to shine through those dark days. As of today, the new World Trade Center is a monument of resilience and endurance. There are several areas to take beautiful pictures and create new memories. If you ever visit NYC don't forget to capture those moments with your camera and save them for the future generations. After all we have to learn to love the present, past is history, tomorrow is uncertainty but today is a gift that's why it is called present ๐ŸŽ.

The Westfield Word Trade Center shopping center is an architecturally beautiful building. The building is really spacious and light looking. There is a lot of space here and you can walk in peace. You can easily get here by metro and you can go directly inside from the station. The shopping center was clean and there are also free rest rooms.

The mall itself is a work of art. You get lost in the catacombs of vertebrae architecture. Walking through to get to the 9/11 memorial museum was an experience in itself. Needless to say, did not do much shopping but tons of trendy and luxurious stores.

Was so amazing to see the architecture is futuristic, clean and itโ€™s open concept. I understand why itโ€™s oculus itโ€™s in the shape of an eye ๐Ÿ‘ a little, itโ€™s interesting choice of design if you ask me, Thereโ€™s shops and then a train station at the very bottom, Itโ€™s definitely a place to check out when visiting New York!

This building has a striking and very beautiful architecture. In real life it is much larger than in the pictures, around 50 to 60 meters high. As you walk in there are escalators leading down to the shops.

Great architecture. Good mix of old and new if you look around. The lines of the buildings with the skyline with the older buildings in the background with the graffiti on the sides. People really enjoy staying in this place.

Architecture is nice and it's an ultra modern mall, but I didn't like the shops or eateries. Eataly was nice looking, but it caters to the upper class. I spent $50 just on orange juice, several sweets and a shaving balm for husband. I guess it's someplace to walk thru.... I'm an online shopper so malls don't impress me too much. We went to Ugg store but they didn't have an online special in the store so buying from online is better than in person. I did buy my son a special NYC edition Swatch.

Representation of New York Cityโ€™s strength and resilience after 9/11. Designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, the Oculus building where the Westfield World Trade Center mall is located resembles a dove leaving a childโ€™s hands. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

A great view to experience in person. Don't let the images of television fool you. The memorial fountains is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The tower is right there, as well as the entrance to the underground mall. While at the memorial for the first time, you wouldn't even realize that a beautifully built mall just underneath the area. First time in Manhattan? A must go to destination. Not far off from the Staten Island Ferry terminal and plenty of access to the transit system in downtown Manhattan.

A TRULY, TRULY COMPLETELY EXQUISITE PLACE I've EVER BEEN IN MY LIFE!!!!!!๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฏ๐Ÿ˜ฒ Perhaps this 1WTC was probably just as duplicated like the original WTC TWIN TOWERS, because as much as it pains for me to say was that I've NEVER BEEN to the that BEAUTIFUL RESTAURANT, or Bars, ๐Ÿป & MOST OF ALL: NOT ONCE EVER BEEN ON THE TOP Of THE ROOF OF THE SOUTH TOWER! ๐ŸฅบAnd I ALWAYS WILL REGRET that Opportunity Forever. ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿ˜ฅ๐Ÿ’™ I do however, recall that I must've been at the Original WTC on my school class trip back in 1980 in the spring, because I DO Remember in looking down from the the windows ๐ŸชŸ & EVERYTHING & EVERYONE WAS SO VERY TINY! Plus I remember the windows ๐ŸชŸ looked EXACTLY like the FREEDOM TOWER, except that place was on 110 floor. And YES I DO PLANNING On Going BACK To THAT VERY AMAZING ONE WORLD TRADE CENTER & the price of a ticket/tickets ๐ŸŽซ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ was VERY WELL WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!(PLUS I DEFINITELY LOOOVED THAT ELEVATOR!!!!!!)

Kriendler n Kriendler law firm left me penniless. I go visit the memorial only first time this year n I will go every year now. Hope you all enjoy the photos. PS: Thank you everyone for attending this year's WTC memorial n honoring our brave firemen n rescue team n police, ambulance n everyone who got involved to help us. We all thank you. Gorgeous building and with nice shops within. The art installations around the site were pretty cool and a lovely place to have a picnic. We went on a chilly February morning so was very quiet. I expect it would be buzzing in the spring and summer.

This mall is a joke, literally almost no places to sit down other than the floor, no restrooms open, the only one open has a +30min line. My wife being pregnant and trying to rest for a bit sitting on the side of the stairs and the rude security guy threatening us for being there. When we tell him there are no places to sit down or go to the restroom for a pregnant woman he just gives us a bad attitude and no help at all. Not a welcoming spot at all.

This building looks amazing, such a cool work of architecture. The shopping mall itself though isn't great, it's difficult to navigate and there aren't actually many shops. So this is a cool place to visit to see the building but not the best place to shop.

We went to Eatly on the 3rd floor. The food was delicious, but the pizza was not that great. The view out of the windows was fantastic. The one lady that was bringing our drinks was rude. Our waiter was very good, but he went missing for way too long while we were waiting to pay our check. The store was a very cool place. It had a ton to look at and purchase.

I am a big time architecture nerd, and when I saw this I practically shouted out loud, SANNNNNTIAGO CALATRAVVVVAAAAAA in a very stupid dramatic voice, because it's so utterly, iconically a Calatrava structure. You gotta go inside though, it's so cool. It has kind of the same effect as Denver Airport, except quite a bit cooler. This really is a marvelous structure. My partner is not particularly an architecture nerd and she too was reaching for her phone both inside and out.

It is a place to visit as you are already here, and the fact that it is an underground mall will attract you as well, it is massive looking and really beautiful to take some pictures, but there aren't many good stores nor places to eat, nor bathrooms so that's the points I find this mall lacking, it will be really enjoyable if there were some more good stores so you can hang out and shop meanwhile visiting this iconic monument as the 911 is. So overall you might want to go and take some pictures and all, but it's not worth even walking it completely

  • 5/5 Gwen R. 6 months ago on Google
My 16 year old grandson and I visited the South Tower memorial as well as the underground shops. Both of our first time. The Memorial was surreal . What an honorable way of paying homage to those who lost their lives in this terrible tragedy. We must not forget but use this memorial to move forward. Thank you to the men and women who contribute to designing. We could not get into the museum because it was booked for the day. :(

I had a meeting there. The security didn't let me go to the 31st floor (where I was supposed to be). I was told that I'm not on the list of visitors. So I guess when it comes to the security, it's good. However, I'm disabled and can't stand for a long time. While I had to call upstairs and wait to be put on the list, I had to stand. When I informed the security that I'm disabled and asked for a chair, my request was denied. Therefore, if you're disabled or just have a real problem standing for more than 5 minutes, be aware.

One of the coolest and nicest shopping malls Iโ€™ve ever seen, hands down. And Iโ€™ve been to many malls across the U.S. It is much bigger than it looks on the outside because all of the shopping stores and dining is underground.

Beautiful place. My family and I had walked all day. We had in a little over 14,000 steps. Unfortunately, I have a recent broken ankle and a knee surgery. There is no good place to sit on the mezzanine I got way out-of-the-way of any traffic and sit down against a column. You can see the picture, a security guard happen to walk by and said I have to stand up. โ€œItโ€™s the rules.โ€ itโ€™s almost hard to believe how ignorant this is. Anyway, me and my large family left at that point. We did not purchase anything here after that.
