Possibly the most impressive building in Manhattan. Every turn reveals another incredible view or piece of architecture. It’s easily one of the most astonishing buildings I’ve ever visited and there’s also spots that you’ll have seen in an array of films.

For people who commute here, it is very good about staying on schedule, barring a major emergency. For tourists, there are lots of opportunities to download or otherwise find information. It is open very early in the morning and very late at night. So you can include this in your list of things to see, and you can check it out, outside of regular business hours, in order to be efficient.

We did an Untapped New York 'Secrets of Grand Central' tour here. The tour was about an hour and 45 minutes. It involves a fair amount of walking. It was also during the holiday rush so it was insanely busy. You get earpieces to hear your guide...only 'so so' comfortable. He had great historical photos though and I learned a great deal from the tour. A few of the stories could have been slightly condensed to make more time.

Arrivals and departures are always on time here for us. Getting in and out is also pretty easy. Low number tracks on the top floor and high numbered tracks on the bottom. Bottom floor also has all the food court. The food court can get out of control with people for sure but you can see my other reviews about the speed and efficiency of the vendors here. All solid work. We took some local trains to the north out of Manhattan, and had no trouble finding the train, and the conductor was very helpful with our questions about luggage It is stunningly beautiful in the atrium however, other than the cheap food I would not hang around here there’s a lot more to see outside the station.

Grand Central Terminal in New York City is a historic transportation hub that captivates tourists with its grandeur and architectural splendor. As one of the world's largest train stations, it's more than just a transit point. Visitors can marvel at the celestial-themed main concourse with its iconic celestial mural on the ceiling. The famous four-faced brass clock is a popular meeting point. Tourists can explore the Vanderbilt Hall, often hosting art exhibitions, and the Whispering Gallery, known for its unique acoustic phenomena. The Oyster Bar & Restaurant provides a culinary experience within the terminal. Don't miss the architectural details, including the grand marble staircase and the majestic Beaux-Arts facade. Grand Central Terminal is not just a bustling transportation hub; it's a historic and architectural gem that offers a blend of functionality and beauty, making it a must-visit for tourists in New York City.

Was visiting New York for a few days and decided to check out the iconic Grand Central Terminal. The building’s architecture and interior design was very unique and sophisticated! Could easily spend a few hours here. Free to go in, there are a few markets/pop-ups around the venue that are also worth checking out! Highly recommend adding this to your itinerary if you’re visiting New York!

Stunning building steeped in history, there are even tours available to explore the site. Bars, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes fill the galleries and corridors. Apple seem to have taken over the upper mezzanine and have products galore on display. Oh and you can catch trains as well.

Such a beautiful station, so grand! A must stop when visiting NYC. Reminds me of so many movies when I visited this place. So iconic in so many ways. Really busy but taking 5 minutes to just watch the hustle and bustle was quite an experience.

Grand Central Station is a magnificent work of art in every single way. The moment you enter, you feel like you've been transported to a different place, the elegance of the walls and its architecture, the mesmerizing beautiful celestial ceiling alone is worth of an exhibition in a museum. The Iconic brass clock in the middle of the station by the ticket sales, seen on hundreds of movies, it's exactly as shiny and small as we all have seen it in the big screen. The impeccable cleaninnes of this place deserves a 5 stars and the courteous, professional and welcoming approach from the station staff, officers and everybody else is the ice on the cake, it makes this visit one of the most pleasant in the city. Definitely, Grand Central is a must if you are visiting🗽 💯 💟

The Grand Central Terminal in New York is simply breathtaking. This iconic location is brimming with history and majestic architecture. My experience there was remarkable, highlighting the enormity of the space and the astonishing number of people who traverse its halls without compromising the cleanliness of the interior. Despite the bustling activity, the place remains surprisingly pristine. The expansiveness of the terminal is truly striking, providing a sense of grandeur that adds to its allure. It’s fascinating to observe the dynamic interaction among travelers and admire the magnificent infrastructure that has withstood the test of time. Regarding internal cleanliness, it’s commendable how the maintenance staff manages to preserve the tidiness, creating a pleasant environment for visitors. Although in the surrounding areas, the streets may lack the same immaculateness, the grandeur of Grand Central Terminal remains a magnet for tourists. Overall, visiting Grand Central Terminal is an experience I would recommend to anyone stepping into New York. Despite some imperfections in the exterior areas, the historical richness and stunning architecture make this site truly unforgettable. It’s worth exploring every corner of this iconic place during your visit to the Big Apple.🍎

Customer Service: 5 Cleanliness: 5 Location: 5 Affordability: 5 There is public restrooms available for their customers We stopped by the Grand Central Terminal this afternoon, while we were visiting the Manhattan area. The facility was maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness. The staff was very friendly and professional. This is a popular tourist attraction for travelers and for the locals. So it stays very crowded and busy. There is plenty of security inside and outside.

Now this has to be one of the most spectacular places I’ve been. The architecture is breathtaking and will endure the rest of time. It’s well lit and there are plenty of guest associates and security to ask questions. They offer a variety of place to grab a bite to eat or drink.

This historic train station is located on 42nd street between Lexington and Madison. This is one of the busiest stations in the world, and there is some great people watching. Beautiful architecture inside, it is truly a sight to see even if you're not traveling by train. The ceiling in the main concourse is spectacular and other not to miss highlights, would be the clock over the ticket booth, the grand central market and the whispering hall. The whispering hall features a beautiful tiled ceiling and if you go with a friend you can stand in opposite corners, talk into the wall and actually hear each other. Lots of great shops and restaurants inside. This should not be missed.

You won't believe it, I've never seen a train station quite like Grand Central Terminal! Even if you don't have a train to catch, you have to visit this incredible place and admire its stunning architecture. Stunning station! There are small shops, information for trips, a supermarket, kiosk and much more everywhere. Despite all the hustle and bustle, it doesn't seem very loud because the sound still travels upstairs. There is even an Apple store next to the flower shop. Be sure to check it out and go through it. 🗽

It's a historic train station that includes both rail and subway trains. The main concourse is an architectural masterpiece and the station itself is very well-maintained. While the station/terminal may get crowded, it is quite easy to navigate and you won't have a hard time finding where you need to go.

Love this place but it definitely took a hit during the pandemic but its making its comeback. The food court has some of the best food and selections. Shops are great and you can have fun eating and shopping before your trainride or arrival. The building has a lot of nice shops and alot of beautiful architecture.

We did not expect it to be so beautiful, in truth, the photos do not justify what you can see with your eyes. so many artistic details on the ceiling and walls, the lamps are fantastic and so glamorous, plus what's a Apple Store very big.

This place is a great 'tourist spot' to see in itself. Many movies and TV references mention Grand Central Terminal. It can be easy to get lost given that it's a big station, but it's worth seeing. Definitely watch out for your belongings since it is a big city and it's not rare to pickpocketing.

The bathrooms are located in the dinning area ( downstairs) Bathrooms were decently clean. there is an info booth in the middle which is helpful. There is an Apple store located on top of one of the stairs so around 7pm a security person will yell at people to get down /block people from getting up. From a tourist perspective, cool place for some pics. It has ac.

Great place on our first visit to NY and wanted to come here as it's in the movies a lot, it was busy but looked clean and well maintained. The pictures of the stars were great and all the fixtures and fittings of the building were great love art texture in old buildings. Soldiers were standing guarding the building with guns and other weapons and I had to get my picture taken with them. So thank you to them for allowing that. They are the whispering room which was good. You stood facing the corner and you talked and over the other side of the corner, the person could hear what you were saying.

Definitely one of the coolest place to visit in New york. The terminal is having beautiful architecture. Have indoor markets where you can buy some stuff and there are internal subway term as well if you need to transfer within city.

Grand Central is a great place for all. However, the management of the ladies bathroom needs improvements. I rushed in close to closing time. I am a diabetic whi uses food and and drink to control my sugar level. After drinking king perhaps too much h liquid while on the train U had no choice but the nearest ladies room. I also needed to reapply medication on my back: my heavy back pack puts a strain on my back. I just finished pushed pulling g up my black long John's when 2 male officers entered and demanded I vacate immediarely.I tried to explain I was nit fully dressed yet. They insisted I leave with a tone and with mocking I laugh telling g me to finish dressing outside. I was embarrassed needless to say humiliated. I try to avoid using it and other public bathroom. No dignity. No human emotion from t h ese officers.
