Visiting this location was great and I appreciated all staffs & doctors’ professional services as always. But calling later to inquire changing the pharmacy pick-up location was terrible. The receptionist (or whoever who picked up) was never kind. I wasn’t complaining or anything like that all!! just asking if I could change the pharmacy location. She couldn’t look it up my name at first but eventually found it then hung up on me very loudly at the end. Also she had no patience for me to look it up the address of the new pharmacy location either. (It didn’t take more than 10 sec) Ruined my good impression about this location.

Was there looking for covid treatment. While the front staff and the assistant/nurse treated me well and were nice to me, Dr Camila was rude. She treated me as if I deserved to be sick. Because of the way she addressed me, I left the clinic confused and wondering if I got the right medication. I felt rushed and discriminated against.

I live in The Bronx now but I will travel to the 57th Street location for just about all of my urgent medical care. They can handle X-rays, tetanus shots, and even Covid testing. The office has always been clean and well stocked. The staff is friendly and professional. and the doctors know their stuff. What more can you ask?

These folks are great!! Needed to get my daughter a rapid test in the morning before school. Had it done in less than 30 min and printed the result for me so that I didn’t have to wait an hour for it to arrive by email. Really above and beyond here. The nurse was super nice too and made the test nearly enjoyable for my daughter.

The staff at city MD were unbelievably polite and very helpful. We showed up with only a few minutes until closing time hoping that we would just be able to book appointment for the following day. The staff are more than happy to take us in and get us signed up as fast as we could. I want to say thank you to all the people who did help us and taking their time to make sure we got our test that night. Especially when they were all ready to go home. Thank you for the great experience and I would recommend everybody to go to CityMD. Thank you again. Also my wife forgot her drivers license there and we did not notice it was gone until we got home in Calgary. When she called, she was told that it was already in the mail being mailed back to us. Amazing!!

Website says open until 10:30pm. Enter at 8:45pm and was asked did I received a text. Response: No I need to register first before getting a text. Was told, No we are too full to capacity now for testing. You will have to come tomorrow. Where were the signs or anything posted on their website how they operate. Now am back out in the cold without being tested when there was ample time before closing. Bogus!

Had to come to an Urgent care on vacation and we dreaded having to do it in NYC. To the fact that we figured it be super busy and not a good experience. To our Amazement the whole process was great, the check in was all on an iPad, minimal interaction with the front desk just to pay. The Provider who saw us was so friendly and sympatric to the needs we had. I can not remember his name but he has glasses and i think bolding "sorry" but he was great. I do recommend this place if you are ever in need of care. Fast/ Clean/ Professional and reliable. Thank you

This place is soo professionally run.. the doctors are always fantastic.. we rushed here today as my husband had an allergic reaction. He was attended to right away. Dr Cazilas was phenomenal she treated him and explained details every step of the way. Very thankful for treating him right away and also ensuring that we went to ER for further monitoring..

Everyone at the clinic was very considerate, knowledgeable and helpful. The NP was very caring and gave the reassurance that I was seeking in regards to whether or not a wound on my left ankle was infected and in need of further care. She was very attentive, and asked the right questions, and ordered a prescription which was sent right back to my pharmacy in my home state. We were just visiting New York and the Clinic was very close to our hotel. It was great to have this kind of care so close to our hotel. Thanks!

Yestrerday, I went to the current location in order to get tested for Covid. The employees at the front desk were extremely rude and couldn't care less about helping me get tested, despite me exhibiting severe symptoms. On top of that, their system is extremely inefficient, as in order to get tested, you need to wait in line for hours just to give them your phone number (!) and then they text you when your turn has come. Basically, you are asked to stay in line for hours, in the cold, along with many other people exhibiting symptoms and thus increasing the chance of contracting the virus even if you didnt have it on the first place, just to give them your phone number, something that could be easily done online. Pathetic organization, definitely wont go there for anything in the future.

Went in for testing, told the doc I wouldn't be able to receive calls for results since I would be abroad. Doc says it's fine, they'll send the results through the patient portal. Doc misdiagnosed me and gave me wrong medication and didn't follow up which led to my symptoms worsening severely to the point where I had to go to the hospital abroad with a high fever, which wouldn't have been too bad if this were pre-covid times. Three weeks later and I still didn't get my test results until I called to complain. Assistant manager was very nice and empathetic but also admitted this wasn't the first time something like this happened, so I don't know why they haven't fixed their result system. The CityMD on 14th street is better.

Avoid. Ignore their time estimates. With no patient sitting in the waiting room I was given an estimate of 20 minutes wait after 50 minutes they told me that the room is being prepared and yet another 10 minutes nothing happened. It’s like a regular old school medical office but with iPads on the registration. The staff, especially the front desk is unprofessional. The manager didn’t even ask why eventually I asked for a refund of the copayment that they charged within the first five seconds

I went in here once. They didn’t even acknowledge that I was in there with my husband. The lady at the front was so rude. I understand she might have had a long day but damn. A little politeness goes a long way! Needless say we didn’t get the test done and left. Never going back there again. If you could avoid going there, please do!

This was the first time I visited this office. I just wasn't getting better so decided to come by. Turns out it was covid. Even though I have Medicaid I was really treated well and Dr Kim treated me with empathy, made me feel welcome, and made me feel I had done the right thing by coming by. The office was clean, the staff was kind, and the wait was efficient. thumbs up

If I could give '0' starts I would. This place operates like a fast-food restaurant. They gave me a rapid Covid test that was negative. I showed them 2 positive rapid tests taken 20 minutes before, they finally gave me a PCR test at my demand. They said someone would call if positive. No call. I had to return to CityMD to ask about results. They were not readable on the web site. I said I wanted treatment that was recommended on their web site. They said they only prescribe a different medicine that is only carried in one pharmacy. But they said my doctor could write a prescription for what I wanted. The PA not a doctor is all they have there. I would suggest any place other than this. When I went there before Covid their examining table had cracks and holes in the padding. 3 or more years later they still have not been repaired. They treat you like cattle. DO NOT GO!!!

I came in for the first time and was told by the lady at the front desk to take a seat and wait my turn. She never told me I had to self check in on one of the machines so I was pointlessly waiting until I realized all the people coming in were checking themselves in. I checked myself in and waited for about five minutes until a Doctor called me. She was nice and was done with me in less than 5 minutes; I went there with an open wound I feared was infected but she said it wasn’t although she was still going to prescribe me antibiotics, which was the whole reason I wanted to go see a Doctor in the first place. She bandaged my wound, which was in my lower leg, and kept one of the legs of my pants up and told me to leave it like that. I was then given some gauze and bandages and assumed my prescription was in there as well. I was told I was good to go and was checked out. Not only did I find out on my way home that I was never given a prescription, but it seems like the Doctor didn’t bandage my wound properly and the bandage started falling off as I was walking, leaving my open wound totally exposed in the middle of the street. I didn’t get what I was expecting (my prescription) and I exposed my wound to more harm than I would’ve otherwise had I never chosen to go there. I’d recommend checking out other places first and definitely not an option if you only want to get a prescription unless it’s one of the only places open (which was my case).

CityMD 57th street is just the best. I live right next door and it’s such a wonderful place to have so close by. It’s in a really nice area of town, it is modern / new and always clean. The waiting room is nice with great lighting. Check in is always easy. The rooms are always nice and clean. The doctors are always lovely, genuine and caring. The whole staff truly cares and the bedside manner is always top notch. They take real good care of you and it’s appreciated and means so much. They typically get you in quickly and get you out quickly! Even when there seems to be a lot of people (with the exception of the occasional Covid testing herds - not their fault for that though) but even when there was a pre holiday wait for Covid testing, they organized a whole notification system. They’re great, you can’t go wrong here. Also shout out to the sweet, efficient and kind front desk folks!

The nurse scribe who took my details was very rude, the Dr refused to alter my prescription (exact same drugs, in capsule not a combined patch) the difference in cost to me was instead of paying $289 (I’m uninsured and travelling) I would have paid $80. The man at reception promised me a health summary and didn’t bother sending one. Worst medical experience I’ve ever had. Minus 5 stars.

Receptionist was welcoming and had me checked in a few minutes. Waited maybe all of 5 minutes to see intake assistant who was very pleasant, took my vitals and asked why i there. A few minutes later the Doctor came in, she was extremely professional and knowledgable. Diagnosed my problem, prescribed meds. So in less than 20 minutes I was out. This was a very pleasant experience. I hope I will never have to back, but if I need urgent care this is only place that I would go..

This was by far the best CityMD experience I have ever had. Dr. Castellanos was my physician today and she did a complete work up. She did not disregard any of my symptoms and made me feel completely at ease. Other locations please take note. I only wish she did primary care because she is hands down one of the best doctors I’ve ever had! Also, the entire staff had amazing bedside manner especially Anna, the nursing assistant. Thank you so much for putting me at ease today, I will absolutely be back to this location in the future!

Visiting from Richmond,Va brought my 7 year old granddaughter bc she was vomiting all night. We waited 2 hours to be seen. The nurse was amazing but the Dr was no help. She said she probably couldn’t put an iv in bc she doesn’t take care of kids but she would try if we wanted. Which of course scared my grand daughter. The doctor told us to go to the hospital. We wasted our time and money on that place.

Went there for a drainage for an abscess. Instead of draining, i was sent home with an antibiotic prescription. They should’ve drained the abscess, instead of charging me $225 just to look and prescribe antibiotics that didn’t work at all.

After eight weeks of torturous pain in which my orthopedic doctor diagnosed me having a muscle and tendon issue in my right arm after a boxing workout on the heavy bag, he finally sent me to Physicsl Therapy. The first visit with the physical therapist revealed that there was no muscle or tendon strain that could be Given attention. The physical therapist kept asking me if my orthopedic doctor took an x-ray, and I told her no he immediately said that he knew what the problem was and then I just needed physical therapy. She mentioned getting an x-ray several times, I went to CMD West 57th urgent care in Manhattan New York, and I explained to them what had happened with my orthopedic doctor and the physical therapist. I told the physician assistant, that I was doing a boxing workout on a heavy bag. She immediately explained to me the kind of injuries that she often find with that kind of out , and she agreed that I should have x-rays taken of the wrist, elbow and shoulder because the pain was radiating everywhere for eight weeks. I also had another doctor visit on zoom in which she let me speak with him quickly, and then commence to have the x-rays taken, and shortly after that , it was confirmed that I had a fracture in my wrist and I have had it for eight weeks. I can’t thank the whole staff city MD West 57th urgent care Manhattan, New York for their hospitality, their thoroughness, kindness, and their professionalism. And now I begin the journey of healing this fracture, confident that I now have treatment for it, the correct treatment. I highly recommend City MD at W. 57th St. The staff at the front desk was so kind of everybody, even helping out patients having problems signing in on the kiosks. Assuring me that I would be seen shortly and honest, if it was gonna take longer than I thought. I have such gratitude for the whole staff.

Quick 5 minute assessment by a PA. Told bug bite for huge itchy rash on right shoulder. Advised no antibiotics. No lab work. Questions overlooked. Provided entire medical history. Appeared not to be reviewed. Had to go to another provider cause rash got worst. 4- 5 day delay in treatment due to wrong diagnosis. No bug bite. Now on 2000mg antibiotic per day x 10 days. Lab work done. Sad for me CITY MD. If I ever need you services again going to make sure only seen by MD. .

"Poor Experience with Long Wait Times and Inadequate Care at CityMD 57th Site" I recently visited the CityMD on 57th Street and was quite disappointed with the level of service and care I received. Upon arrival, the three front-desk staff were preoccupied with their own conversations and directed me to an electronic check-in system, which unfortunately did not work. Despite needing assistance, the process still failed, leaving me to complete my paperwork manually. The wait time to be called into the examination room was 40 minutes. Once inside, I had to wait an additional 50 minutes for a healthcare provider to attend to me. During this time, I noticed 6 to 8 nurses outside the room, engaged in conversation rather than tending to patients. When I was finally seen, the examination felt rushed and basic, not addressing the severity of my symptoms adequately. I had a head concussion that seemed to be underestimated in its seriousness. I hope my experience serves as constructive feedback for CityMD to improve its services, and as a cautionary tale for future patients to consider other options for urgent care.

The front desk staff was great; however, the male receptionist was not intuitive to the questions asked and seemed to pace out. The Dr. was nice, she applied an antibiotic cream to the wound and a dressing. She also answered any questions I asked of her.

I went to this location and requested to the nurse to have my thyroid checked and see if I still had mono - requesting both a thyroid test, mono check and full panel check. Two days later, I received my results with no mono results shown, only to learn that the doctor did not run a mono check (assuming the nurse did not communicate this to the doctor.) as someone who has a fear of getting their blood drawn, now I need to pull myself together to go back a second time because someone didn’t do their job and forgot to run a test. This is beyond unprofessional, especially given it’s the medical field which I would expect to be detail oriented. I explained the main reason I went in was to see if my mono was still there and check for thyroid - multiple times this was stated and still forgotten. How does one mess that up?

CityMD is great as an urgent care center if you need non-emergency care. That being said, it will most likely take you a long time to be seen. That's expected for a walk-in urgent care in NYC, let alone Columbus Circle. The staff here from reception to doctors have all been great. Very helpful, kind, and professional every time I have had to visit. My big issue, which knocked off a star, is if you get any tests run it will take an EXCEEDINGLY long time to get your results. I'm pushing 5 days waiting on non-Covid tests and was just told to "call back tomorrow" to check again. I get they are doing a TON of Covid testing and I'm trying not to be too impatient, but yeesh...find an additional lab or something. Had some issues with double billing in the past, but CityMD managed to fix them all in a timely manner, so that's a non issue for the time being.

My wife and I were in NYC visiting from Phoenix, Arizona so we were without a local doctor. Somehow my finger became infected during the visit and our hotel suggested we call a nearby CityMD -- this was at 10:00 pm. We were told to come right over to the clinic. The front desk staff was very friendly and checked us in very efficiently. After a short wait, I was ushered into an exam room where the doctor and an aide took wonderful care of me. The doctor lanced my infected location on my finger, cleaned the area out thoroughly and gave me an prescription for a antibiotic. I was in and out of the clinic 30 minutes and was so surprised by the friendliness, helpfulness and wonderful care I received. During a minor emergency, it was just a wonderful experience.

I first visited on Christmas Eve Day (was actively bleeding) - they took me instantly. They were extremely thorough and explained everything. I was in and out in under an hour (including stitches). I had to return a few days later for a wound check - and again my wait time to be seen was less than 10 minutes and was in and out. Returned again for the stitch removal and same great experience. Everyone is friendly yet professional, and the facility is very clean. I would go back in a second if necessary.

I encountered the worst and most unfriendly receptionist I have ever met in my life. I walked in with food poisoning for over 24 hours and had not had anything to eat or drink and was clearly very sick. When asking to see a doctor the receptionist gave me a dirty look and asked how old I was as if I was hung over. She then proceeded to tell me that they would not give me any fluids although I was extremely dehydrated. This receptionist does not hold any sort of medical degree and I’m not even sure how she possibly got this job with her attitude. I will never be returning to the city MD and I will be urging all of my friends to stay away due to the rudeness I experienced. The receptionist refused to let me see a doctor based on her own bias when I was actually sick.

I have had trouble finding someone in the US that could prescribe the Shingles vaccine, I have had the problem for 8 years now and since I wasn't 50 I couldn't get it. Everyone from the receptionist, the nurse, the doctor were understanding, pacient and caring. I got my first of two doses and will happily go back for the second one when the time comes. Great waiting area, instructions were clear, friendly and helpful. Thanks for everything you do for us!

Could not have asked for better service & treatment! I walked in with my husband, and told the receptionist I thought he has having a stroke based on his behavior. Within a minute, we were in a medical room being assessed by Dr. Vogel (I believe that was her name). They sent us back immediately and she rushed in to assess. She was attentive, thorough and spot on in her diagnosis. She sent us to the ER room by ambulance where he received immediate attention. The next day she called me to follow up and check on him. I was happy to share with her that her diagnosis was the same as the Neurological team doctors. Thank you to Dr. Vogel and the team for quick and attentive treatment & attention.

I had an incredibly disappointing visit to CityMD clinic today, and I feel compelled to share my experience. I woke up this morning with an excruciating pain and numbness in my right hand middle finger, which was bitten by some unidentified bug or creature. Concerned about the severity of the situation, I immediately rushed to the nearest clinic, CityMD, hoping for prompt medical attention. Upon arrival, the two assistants at the clinic were initially friendly and attentive. I explained the situation to them, and shortly thereafter, the main doctor, Dr. Okafor (or whatever her name was), entered the room. She was a tall lady wearing glasses. However, my encounter with her quickly turned sour. Despite my explicit description of the incident and my plea for help, Dr. Okafor barely examined my finger. She simply glanced at it from a distance and declared that it "looked fine" without even touching it or examining it carefully. I was taken aback by her dismissive attitude and lack of concern. I emphasized the potential danger of the situation, as I couldn't identify the creature that bit me, but she responded rudely, saying, "If you didn't see what it was, how can I know?" As a medical professional, it is her duty to properly assess the situation, regardless of whether or not I saw the creature clearly. Dr. Okafor's unprofessional behavior and dismissive attitude were deeply disappointing. I expected her to provide me with some form of treatment or at least offer suggestions for monitoring my condition. However, she simply brushed off my concerns and insisted that I go home. Feeling dissatisfied and worried about the lingering pain and numbness in my finger, I decided to call the main CityMD office to voice my concerns and request a refund. To my dismay, I was informed that an investigation would be required, and it could take up to three weeks. This response only added to my frustration and highlighted the lack of accountability within the clinic. Unable to tolerate this subpar level of care, I have decided to seek medical attention elsewhere. My finger still aches, and the numbness persists, making me genuinely concerned for my well-being. My experience at CityMD was nothing short of horrendous. Dr. Okafor's unprofessionalism and dismissive attitude were absolutely uncalled for. It seems that the clinic is more focused on monetary gain than genuinely caring for their patients. I strongly advise against visiting this clinic if you value your health and expect professional and compassionate medical care. JUST TERRIBLE!

Good providers, terrible receptionists. The self-check-in process is also unnecessarily cumbersome and time-consuming for returning patients. The receptionists just sit there joking among themselves and all they seem to do is curtly direct patients to the self-check-in terminals.

Great and friendly staff. Took me In immediately due to my accident with a hand laceration. Required stitches. Please make sure all ID & Insurance information is available for your own benefit.

Doctor, staff, service, EXCELLENT. BUT unmonitored waiting area did not feel covid safe or physically safe. Many patients without masks. I told receptionist, she immediately said something. Unfortunately, moments after most patients lowered or removed masks again. Two women as they were called to enter clinical area, stopped inches in front of me. One swore & threatened me, the other spit on my lap. Waiting patients saw incident. No staff could have. (I don’t know of video?)

When someone goes to urgent care, they are having a medical issue. They can be in pain, mental crisis, or embarrassed about their condition. For me, I was a bit embarrassed. So, coming into CityMD I was battling my emotions and pain of why I was there. Everyone was nice on the sign in, and the wait was to be expected. My problem occurred when my medical assistant "Michael" made a smart comment about my mask. He embarrassed me without second thought. That is not why I am writing this comment. Upon arriving to my exam room, he refused to provide care, his exact words were "I`m not going in there." After a few minutes, "Jasmine" who works at the front desk had to take my information for the doctor. Again, when the doctor was to enter the room. I heard Michael, again say, he was not entering the exam room. So, Jasmine had to be present with the doctor. Can you say awkward. I`m not saying CityMD is unprofessional. But a medical organization that staff's persons who refuse medical care to patients. Patients/Parents should give a second thought before bringing your loved ones to a place.

I never post reviews. I am not a yelp type person but experience today was so horrible that it compelled me to do one. Could not even speak to a manager. All about the business and not patient care. Maybe they were just having a bad day. I hope so.

I was seen promptly first by the nurse, and the doctor then followed up after a very short wait. The service was timely and very helpful. The place is clean and well organized.

The team ay the City MD in Hauppauge is by far the greatest team I have encountered. every one was polite. From the front staff to the Physicians and Nurses.

I have been here twice for shingles vaccine and a Covid-19 test, each time everyone has been friendly and professional. The place is very clean and follows safe , healthy standards. I didn't have along wait.

What a waste of time They whisked me in & out, for a terrible continuous cough I wanted to get rid of. Xrays came out clear/lungs. & covid test negative. But when I asked what I might have the Nurse Practitioner said "I don't know, maybe it's a cold" and gave me a prescription that "should help" me w/my cough which it didn't. Am coughing just as much as yesterday, all nite long. Will never return there. I'm sure they'll be sending me a big fat bill now.

Doctor was great! Staff not so much. They literally ignored every single request I had and did the OPPOSITE. They had to help me schedule a test but completely dropped the ball.

I always have confidence that I will receive the utmost care and attention at Urgent Care. I have referred several friends who are also very satisfied with the medical treatment they receive.

Unless you want to be treated badly don't go here. First they make you wait an hour and a half then I met a lovely Asian nurse she was the only good part the doctor was absolutely terrible . No bedside manner and rude. A few days later I called back to get my results and explain I had issues with my antibiotics manager Mandy tells me she will get the doctor to speak to me . She calls me back suddenly the doctor is not available so now I'm discussing sensitive test results with essentially an office manager. The doctor is an African American woman I believe and should be FIRED. They told me I have to go back to get RETESTED. I made an appointment instead with my gp. NO WAY AM I GOING BACK THERE to see a racist pig who has the bedside manner of a toilet Seeing all the negative reviews here I'm glad I'm not alone terrible assembly industry line no humanity no help no kindness

Our visit was terrific. The facility is spotless, we were seen within 15 minutes and the staff was very helpful and well-informed at every step of the way. Their recommendations sped up our recovery and we were very grateful for the prompt service. Beware that there are scammers listed for other sites (NOT City MD) that pretend to be urgent care facilities. These are well established and competent Urgent Care Centers that you can trust when you need it

I came to this office following a bicycle accident in Central Park. The staff was extraordinary, taking care of all my medical needs (tetanus shot, X-Rays, stitches) quickly and efficiently. They were friendly, reassuring, and capable. I recommend them highly to anyone needing care in Midtown.

👍👍 Everyone at the office is so nice. Dr. Shelton took his time with me and explained all my options without pushing me into anything. He’s wonderful and I trust his expertise. 😠 I’m 32. Been going here since I was 14. The lack of communication and professionalism is ridiculous. I was told I needed to have a surgical procedure done and that I needed to meet the provider. On 3 different occasions I was scheduled at the office and each time I got there, staff notified me that...

😠 First of all, I'm a local this was the second time I went to this place. August 08 at 1:00pm, I did 3 person line and I overheard people were arguing at the front desk. My assumption was that of course front desk had an attitude base from last experience. Shortly, a young lady coming out saying to m...

😠 ZERO STARS. They botched my blood sample and lab could not run my tests. Now they are playing a cat and mouse game with phone calls and emails. During my second visit, one of their 'assistants' (will keep 'them' anonymous) asked me for a job because this place doesn't pay them enough. They also have...
