All I can say is, mmm, mmmm, yummy. This restaurant offers the best authentic Mexican food. The salsa and chips appetizer was very tasty. My taste buds exploded. The main dishes were amazing. Home cooking to the max. Good sized portions, and I love food. The only setback was that only one server, plus she was the bartender too, so it took a while, but so much worthwhile the slight wait.

This place is very deceiving from the outside. It looks like a tiny small space with barely any standing room. I walked towards the entrance and waited for a staff person to assist. They have outdoor seating on the sidewalk and require you to have your vaccination card to sit inside and eat. After checking our cards, we were told we could go down stairs. Downstairs is a pretty large open space. The kitchen is down there and while being seated, you can actually see the men in the kitchen cooking which is nice. They have some pretty good seating and the space itself was really clean. Its very cozy and the lights are a little dim. Its very zen, peaceful, quiet and such a good vibe for a night with the friends or your partner. The service was a little slow HOWEVER, they really had this ONE young lady handling all tables outside (which all were full when i came in) and the few tables with guest down stairs. Totally not fair but she killed it and did her best. Now for the food and drinks, ughhhh AHHH-MAZING. i had a regular Margarita. It was really good. My sister and bestfriend had the Hibiscus Margarita and i wish i did. It's sweeter then the reg but sooooooooo good. Better then i expected. For appetizer we got the guac and chips. We also got the cheese fondu with chorizo. Both were incredible. I highly recommend. We ended up ordering Al Pastor tacos, steak tacos and fish. We got two of each and shared. Absolutely amazing. My sister couldnt finish, she was stuffed. I finished because it was amazing. The tacos were stuffed with meat. It was literally tortilla and meat lol. I would highly recommend this place. I will certainly be back asap!!!

Ate there last night and my party and I really enjoyed everything. My favorites were the corn soup, pescado tacos, and carnitas michoacanas. For my cocktail I chose The One From Oaxaca…excellent!!!

Great food and amazing drinks! Highly recommend the margaritas and we tried the esquites, the ceveche, the brisket and Carne asada tacos. I highly recommend all these The host is super friendly and we got seated immediately. They have outdoor and downstairs seating. I would definitely return when in the neighborhood. They offer a discount to pay in cash and our bill was around $70 which is a good price for all this food. They also have happy hour and lunch specials

We absolutely loved this place, the food, music, ambiance, & drinks were all so good! We came here on a Friday around 2pm for lunch and were the only people here. They have a happy hour and lunch specials. We all ordered the pomegranate red sangria. It was very refreshing, not too sweet or overpowering. We ordered the esquites to share, then two of us ordered Chicken Enchiladas Suizas, and the other ordered Chicken Enchiladas de Mole off of the lunch specials menu. They came out fast and absolutely gorgeous! They had great flavor, the chicken was perfectly cooked, the verde sauce had a nice spice to it and almost had a sweet tint to it? I couldn’t tell if it was the sauce or the onions on top, but I really enjoyed pickled red onion. The flavors were really great. We sat outside and had such a great time! They also have a cute/cozy dining area downstairs. Highly recommend this place. Very close to Central Park as well!

Really enjoyed the outdoor seating. I ordered the chicken quesadillas and the portions were pretty big. It was filling and scrumptious… I definitely recommend checking this place out.

My order: mole chicken enchiladas and agua de Jamaica. The food was so good and the service was great. My dish tasted like as if it was cooked at home which I loved because this city does not do Mexican food well lol Clean space and good music. Reasonable prices for this city. My coworkers and I stopped by for lunch and did not regret.

Found this place just walking down the street and it immediately caught our attention. We dined downstairs and the service was exceptional. Great atmosphere and the food was amazing. The carnitas tacos were amazing, the marinade they used on the meat was savory and flavorful. The Al pastor tacos were also delicious. Definitely do not pass this place by if in the area.

Cozy Mexican restaurant serving up a limited menu of items. Establishment is not handicap accessible so if you intend on dining, keep in mind there is a set of staircase that leads to the downstairs area for the restaurant. The guacamole was too cold and salty. The tacos were decent at best and the drinks were alright. Nothing to brag about but this restaurant is decent.

We came across this spot after a quick hike and only wanted drinks with a snack. But will definitely be returning for actual food cause it looks bomb! Service was nice and atmosphere is pretty chill. Our Nachos and drinks were amazing though!! Recommend👍🏻👍🏻

Visited during Taco Tuesday- really great tacos - we got the fish and carnitas. And both were excellent - especially the fish so soft! The service was also really great.

We flew in for a concert and this place did not disappoint one bit! Customer service was on point! I ate some pork shoulder with Rice beans and pickled onions. The food was delicious and we hung around for some margaritas. Definitely recommend trying it out.

Love this place. Usually eat there, but ordered tonight. Food arrived in 19 min and was great. Best Mexican in the neighborhood and good drinks. We usually order Birria Burrito and Mole Enchilladas and also good nachos. The whole package.

Amazing home made chips with tasty guacamole. Margaritas are yummy and pack a tequila punch!! I loved my quesadilla and the tortilla is obviously home made deliciousness. Great outdoor dining and attentive staff

We loved the food here, guacamole and chips was brilliant, tortillas freshly made. Both the huevos rancheros and the breakfast burrito were great, service has room for improvement, though.

Came for the cocktails which were excellent! The food is great too, whether it's the small bites or the more substantial entrees! There is outdoor seating and a fun atmosphere.

I can’t say enough about this place other than you M.U.S.T. get the quesadilla se huitlacoche. I also had the enchiladas suizas which were also great. Great prices and definitely a neighbourhood gem!

This is some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. Everything tasted so fresh and homemade, especially the tortillas. The Birria Nortena was juicy, tender, and delicious! Plus the portion size was very generous. The three other people I was with got steak tacos, chicken enchiladas, and Carnitas Michoacanas. All were amazing! It looks like a small place when you see it from the front but the restaurant is actually downstairs. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice sit down Mexican restaurant.

The best Mexican in NY! We’ve been here for 10 days and this place is amazing. Authentic flavours, great service, I just wish we’d found this place earlier in our trip. Try the cerviche, enchiladas and the margaritas of course!

A charming small space with delicious food. I love their corn soup, steak tacos, and authentic offerenda. Everything we ate was delicious. When ordering tacos for sure get three instead of two.. they’re small but SUPER QUALITY. The corn soup was even better than i would have imagined. This place was a little pricey for our typically low low budget but it was worth it!

The dining area downstairs is roomy, cozy, and has a nice vibe. Service was great and food was quick to come out. We had the chips & guac and mixed tacos. Everyone was delicious and tasted fresh.

We went there last night, was awesome, fish tacos 🌮 Tacos Al pastor, carnitas and ceviche but the ceviche was ok. Just a tip… Most of us we don’t like to salty so please be aware of it. Monica y el manager se portaron geniales. This place is cozy and good for date! Try it the Cantarito cocktail. Adios amigos ! 🤪

Not sure how we haven't reviewed this place yet, it's our favorite spot in the neighborhood! (That's probably why)... Super friendly, great good (everything we've had is excellent, but so good that we rarely deviate from our favorites), great space, great outdoor seating. Guacamole and margaritas are the best I've found anywhere. Hibiscus margarita is really tasty when in the mood for something a little different. The corn chowder soup is another must-get highlight.
