Pretty mall but with expensive stores. This is the kind of mall you walk around just for the experience unless you shop at expensive stores but they have really beautiful decorations if you come during the Christmas time. It also looks great for Instagram pictures. The mall also includes the PATH trains and regular trains. I would recommend going to this mall just for the experience.

The Oculus Center and shopping mall is a true masterpiece of architecture brilliance. From the moment I stepped inside, I was utterly captivated by its grandeur and elegance. The massive expanse of marble throughout the building is absolutely stunning. This place offers an unforgettable experience, and what’s more impressive is that the admission is free! Wether you’re a tourist or a local, this a must-visit destination in the heart of New York City.

The Oculus Center in New York deeply resonated with me. Nestled next to the 9/11 Memorial, its unique winged design stands not just as an architectural masterpiece but as a beacon of hope. In the shadow of a tragedy that took so many lives, the Oculus serves as a poignant reminder of resilience and rebirth. The vast white interior isn’t just functional but seems to embrace visitors with its open arms, offering solace and reflection. Beyond its role as a transportation hub, it provides a space of remembrance and forward-looking optimism. It’s a profound experience that touches the soul, a testament to the indomitable spirit of New York and its people.

Wow, the Oculus Center and shopping mall are architectural wonders! Stepping inside, I was blown away by how impressive and classy it all looked. Plus, it's conveniently located next to the 9/11 memorial. The marble decor inside is breathtaking—it's hard not to be mesmerized. What's even better? It won't cost you a dime to experience this beauty! Whether you're a tourist or a local, this spot in the heart of NYC should definitely be on your list.

Absolutely sunning architecture. A must visit. We came from New Jersey and the trains are so nice. The shops are also nice. There’s a huge Apple Store which is cool I guess. When you go from sad New Jersey to the beautiful Oculus and then walk out to NEW YORK CITY 🗽it’s genuinely so amazing. Walking out of the oculus on my FIRST trip to NYC was breathtaking ☺️

This shopping center is beautifully designed, and brings in a hoard of natural light from outside. It's also a transit connecting station where you can take the PATH over to Jersey. Most people come here after the 9/11 memorial next door. There are lots of shops and cafes in here, as it's multiple levels.only drawback is that they probably need more restrooms. One of the best parts is that you can visit inside for free.

An impressive structure. A great place to visit when visiting the World Trade Center. Coming from Jersey, I often recommend taking the PATH to this station. As you come up the steps, the view from inside is really impressive. It's a good stop for a bathroom break as you roam New York City.

A wondrous construction of eating, shopping, and absolute convenience with multiple subway lines connecting here (and they’re clean too)! It’s steps away from the 9/11 memorial and has great views of the city. A nice respite from the cold and the streets. The architecture is a feat and you can get kinda lost too!

Love this mall! It’s has so many amazing stores and the path to NJ is right there. The architecture is outstanding and you could go straight up to the One Trade Center observatory from the oculus.

Highly symbolic space with beautiful details. The reference to the Phoenix rising from the ashes is more than obvious yet there is a sense of peace and tranquility given the soft organic forms and flowing patterns like an angel. Remarkable that this edifice functions primarily as a shopping centre. Ultimately does American consumerism trumps everything?

Advanced Architecture which has its own meaning with outstanding construction. We will be going from ground level as entrance but u will find the shopping mall beneath 2 floors. If u go down one floor surprised to connect with subway train too. In the next beneath floor you can connect to all the near by trade center office buildings and shopping builidings. I was amazed with the views, designs, connections everything.

The Oculus: A Stunning NYC Landmark The Oculus, located at the World Trade Center in downtown Manhattan, is far more than a transportation hub. Its breathtaking architecture immediately draws you in. The white, skeletal structure with soaring ceilings creates a sense of awe and spaciousness. The natural light streaming through makes the space feel bright and airy. More than Just Transit While a major subway interchange, the Oculus is also a vibrant shopping mall. Expect various stores, from high-end designers to casual favorites. You'll find plenty of dining options too, making it a great spot to grab a bite after exploring the area. My Experience Visiting the Oculus always feels special. Even amidst the bustle of commuters, the space retains a sense of grandeur. It's worth taking a moment to admire the architecture, wander the shops, and perhaps grab a coffee to complete the experience. Tips: Go early or late: Avoid peak rush hour crowds for a more enjoyable visit. Explore the surroundings: The 9/11 Memorial, One World Observatory, and Brookfield Place are all within walking distance. Look up! The architecture is best appreciated by gazing at the ceiling.

A great looking modern mall that is unlike anything else but the shopping experience can leave a lot to be desired. It feels like the stores are mostly things you can find anywhere else. So go for the look of the mall but not sure if it’s worth going for the mall shopping experience

The oculus is a huge center where you can find almost everything you need! Its a connecting station to fulton with in 2-3 mins walk. Brookfield place is also connected with oculus. If you come in the middle you will find the biggest apple store and many different brands, it also have small stands of chocolates, flowers and accessories. I like the most is the instrumental music they play every morning, just soothing. It is bright and shiny. The place is clean and also the restrooms are very well maintained. Restrooms are closed after 10 so make sure you don’t do mistake of running to wtc after 10 in hope😝. Path station is also connected from oculus, so trains to jersey city are easy to get runs every 10-15 mins and also take 10-11 mins to reach JSQ. This is almost it about oculus there must be more but yah, very cool and also it is a major VISITORS SPOT.

First time in New York City. First visit to this construction and I literally fall in love with this building … love at first sight. All new. So impressive. So different of everything else. But still fits perfectly. Massive impression and so delicate at the same time… amazing way to remember. It s also a huge mall with a lot of shop and access to metro. The view from inside also worse it. I totally recommend to pay a visit to this amazing construction. Next to the 9/11 memorial.

Anyone who saw any edifice of Santiago Calatrava - famous and unique Spanish architect will easily recognize his amazing work in downtown NYC. A spectacular, both inside and outside, architectural masterpiece adorns the World Trade center Plaza. It's a kind of building NY didn't have so far. Huge and uniquely designed transport hub, shopping mall, food court and multi purpose space.

I was last near the 9/11 memorial in 2012 and it was a very solemn experience with active mourning still present in every crevice of this area. Today I am back and I feel the freedom in the air, the magnitude of time healing and the wonderment of people carrying on as we have always been taught within our humanity. Oh, and of course the Oculus is incredible & a must see for all who come to this area of NYC!

Oculus Center is a great tourist attraction, especially that its next to the 911 memorial and one world trade center. Great architecture and lots of shops and spots to take photos. the big bonus is that if you take the subway to the memorial, you will enter Oculus Center itself so it not out of the way.

This is a very cool transportation hub/shopping mall. It is incredible inside out with convenient connections to different subway lines. If you are here to see the World Trade Center, you will probably go through it and even if you don’t, I would recommend seeing this place.

Beautiful shopping and transportation access center in lower Manhattan. The structure is an architectural masterpiece and worthy of a visit to admire in itself. There is an expansive indoor area to walk through and marvel at the artistic engineering and aesthetic artistic architecture. There are also many shops, cafes, restrooms, as well as subway access points, New Jersey path access, as well as a seamless access point and indoor connected large passageway to Brookfield Place.

An architectural masterpiece, beautiful shopping, and transportation access center in lower Manhattan. The best place to exhibit my art at the Art on the Ave Creative Space.

Actually a very eccentric but magnetic building. It pulls you the moment you step in not much dining place as of now. But lot of shopping possibilities. I found only two eateries. Eataly not looked good but food their also tasted good

Heart of the financial district as it is a transport hub, a shopping area, restaurants and a large central space with benches to sit on. The construction took 12 years and was inaugurated in 2016. It required an investment of 4 billion dollars. Resulting in the most expensive train station in the world and the third largest transportation hub in New York, after Grand Central and Penn Station. A work of modern art.

I love this place! The shops are great and easy to get to via all major transit. What’s interesting is that not many New Yorkers know that this place is a shopping destination. There are plenty of shops and boutiques that offer one of a kind pieces too. Check out Art to Ware there! It is Black owned and woman owned. They feature designer clothing and accessories from up and coming local designers. Also, head over to The Canvas! Another boutique at the Oculus Shopping Center that features one of a kind sustainably made clothing!

When I arrived here I honestly thought that it was a museum of some kind. As soon as you walk in the doors and you discover a modern underground world, you're on your way to a shopping experience like no other. Sure there was a bit of stairs to climb, but where is there not in NYC. Incredible design and aesthetics!

Majestic and beautiful! The stunning design of this building creates a surreal cathedral-like atmosphere which feels almost heavenly and other worldly. Linked directly to the subway and right across the street from the 911 Museum and memorial. It’s a shopping mall like no other you will have ever experienced. Highly recommended for your visit to NYC and the 911 Museum.

Amazing architecture from Santiago Calatrava. The curves are amazing. So big. With a Westfield shopping centre inside. It goes underground. If you go on a Sunday it’s extremely quite.

The design is marvelous both interior and exterior. This is where Newyork subway meets Newjersey Path. Lot of shopping options . Many people actually do go inside , they just see building from outside and leave . Actually it’s a huge building inside .

Beautiful design! This is a nice connection point with a mix of shopping and transit connection options. We came right after visiting the 9/11 memorial across the street, and it was a nice place to warm up after the cold.

The Oculus Center is a breathtaking architectural marvel that seamlessly blends modern design with functionality. Its impressive structure and vast open space create a sense of awe and grandeur. Navigating through the center is smooth and convenient, thanks to its well-planned layout. The variety of shops and dining options cater to all tastes, making it a one-stop destination. The Oculus Center's unique blend of aesthetics and practicality make it a must-visit landmark.

Various stores invite you to shop. Large location. Even at the exit to the Hudson River you'll find a shopping area for the well-heeled. I love the location as a photo spot. Tripods are prohibited, you should please also not make the tourist mistake and stand everywhere in the way, especially not directly after entering.

Oculus Center is an interesting piece of architecture placed among the NY skyscrapers. It belongs to the World Trade Center complex and the PATH system. I liked its white and clear interiors. There are several shops, but Eataly was the one that caught my attention - it seems to be a paradise for fans of Italian cuisine. Also, if you have an iPhone and your battery is running low, you can recharge it in the Apple Store;)
