Was sitting in the waiting very small room for my boyfriend while he was getting surgery, where there are ceiling to floor windows. The sun comes directly in through the windows and there are shades, but they are wide open. I pulled down the shade half way on one of the windows because the sun coming in was really strong. The girl at the front desk came and opened it wide and said she needs to see outside - meanwhile, there’s 4 other floor to ceiling windows that are wide open to the outside and i had only closed one in the corner half way. No regard for the people here in the waiting area, just for her personal “view” of the outside. Utterly rude. Especially because how can she “see outside” when people are covering her “view” as she’s servicing them at the front desk??

Be aware of the girl with the hairy arms she’s very rude and aggressive she refuses to say good morning and practically physically pushes you to lead you to direct. Don’t don’t ask her any questions cause she has no idea what’s going on or how to explain follow up treatment, the surgeon herself was really sweet and empathetic front desk girl, very professional and quick. Overall the three star is for the staff herself so if you’re gonna be there early in the 6am morning, be prepared to deal with the nasty unprofessional MA

Always had a positive experience, put me to sleep , extracted my tooth, didn’t feel a thing , healed in a week, never no problems and right now currently waiting for a final extraction, staff is always great , don’t listen to negative reviews I find that entitled people who don’t have patience complain as well as patients that feel they deserve what they want in a fast timely haste not what they need are the ones giving low star reviews , Pain medication shouldn’t be a topic in reviews , you getting a tooth removed not major surgery, so again this place is professional and by the book with no regrets.

My experience was great. I arrived for an emergency surgery for extraction for my wisdom tooth. I was the first in line with no appointment. If you are going for a emergency procedure make sure your early because it is first come first serve( the facility opened at 7:30-m. I was there at 5:50-6:00am) . Nevertheless, filled out a couple of forms and they took my x-ray. The staff and doctor where very nice and asked all the question that I had. I did go under ( I was fully sedated) which helped the process. After my surgery they sat me down in a comfortable chair so that I can fully awaken. After that they gave me extra gaze and instructions for after care. Thank you for the wonderful experience! ( Just to add I don’t know why the reviews on this place are so bad people complain of waiting a long time when going in for appointments but yet again this is a walk in clinic. You have to be there early or else your wait will possibly be long because they are performing surgery.) The review scared me because I almost didn’t come to the site because of them. IF YOU NEED TO GO TO A WALK-IN IN CLINIC COME HERE. It’s honestly your best choice just arrive early and have your ID and insurance. I advise you to call ahead to see if they take your insurance and if you’d like to be sedated also ask information on that as well.

Okay I’m going to start off by saying I came here years ago & loved it . 8/11/23 is my first time coming here since my last procedure I was younger ( had a root canal ) . My dentist recommended here with a referral. Best thing he has ever done. Especially being that I came here previously! The wait time is a little a reach but it’s only one dentist there literally so I understood why the wait was so long. My appointment was @ 10:15am and I wasn’t seated to 11:45am that I didn’t like. I go into the chair I did ask am I going to be put to sleep . She said relax medicine I said okay. Doctor came in gave me the needle. I look up at the light by that time I DONT REMEMBER A GOT DAMN THING. I woke up wondering ( wait did ya get the tooth out that fast! ) .my previous dentist just numb my gums with the needle and I was up to see it being taken out. Moral of story is I love how fast this went. Highly recommend.

Terrible horrible bad experience They removed a molar without anesthesia under sedation which I felt everything, people I felt everything 1,2,3 out it was as strong as that girl took out the little tooth I had left, it's been 3 weeks and it still hurts because why? I have a spicule of bone left that is sticking into me and that really has to be removed again. Traumatic since they do not use local anesthesia. After I returned home, I cried with pain and I was like this for more than 4 days taking painkillers and antibiotics. The day they did the surgery, the nurses were practically throwing me away. Let me go like this, all dizzy, all drugged, to my house and I alone without anyone, I went out and walked without company, I don't know how to get back. They don't care at all I called to explain what happened now and the woman told me to come any day before 12 I want to know and I will call the insurance if it covers Anesthesia to do that procedure since they are saving a lot of money and charging insurance, people, don't come back here alone because they sedated you, you don't feel anything, I was never traumatized.

My appointment was at 12:00, I got there a few minutes before, filled out paperwork and by 12:45 I was in the recovery area waiting to feel better to leave. They were super fast but also attentive. Staff is extremely positive and helpful, I did not know that insurance wouldn’t cover x-rays since I already had it done at my initial dentist appointments but it was only $20. The process really helped in my recovery going so smoothly. So glad I decided to go with this location. :)

If you have the opportunity to go to that place (TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT). Honestly, it’s an informal place. They make you go out on the street and go to another place (the place seems deteriorated) then they call you with a speaker to go out on the street again and go to the other room. My appointment was scheduled for 10:40 and I retired at 12:35 without being called by the speaker 😭. From my personal opinion: the place does not provide confidence to have a dental procedure. In addition, the attention is not very friendly.

I was an emergency walk-in also and share the same review and experience as Jade London. Dress warmly on cold days because there isn’t good heat in the waiting areas and just be patient because technically you do not have an appt. There were 10 people in front of me and I only waited 4 hrs from the time my paperwork was completed. The services were great, treatment rooms modern and clean. I was happy to be sedated because you feel nothing. It was a clean extraction and didn’t even need the pain relief medication I picked up. I would definitely use and recommend this surgical team.

Absolutely disappointed with the practice. You can never get anyone on the phone. Authorization was obtained July 7th for something that was an emergency. Now they “don’t accept walk-in patients”. The next appointment for an emergency is 7/30/22. Completely negligent. Stay away from this place.

waiting is terrible. 30 min for registering : standing on line at the very small office 1 1/2 hour waiting at the other office space for an appointment. I was able to see the doctor 2 hours after my appointment. a lot of documents to sign - they should have asked them to do when we make an appointment. walking in person asked "how long is waiting?" The answer was 5 hours. They need to do it at the different way. It sounds like they don't care patients at all. NO one can be happy there. The person who is doing the registration - looks upset. I understand her. Need to be changed

My surgery and recovery went very well. The staff was very kind and professional too. You couldn't ask for a better experience when having an extraction done, which itself is something that nobody really wants to have done for a multitude of reasons but DOS makes sure that it's as stress free, and painless as possible. I couldn't recommend a place more if that's what you're needing to have done.

My fiancé had a great experience we arrived at around 6:50am( Walk-in) for an extraction. The front desk assistant opened up around 7:00am she was very sweet and professional as well as the oral surgeon who made my fiancé feel very comfortable she was amazing she said. The procedure was very quick and painless. I would recommend coming here to anyone! Ps: it gets very packed, and they suggest that you have a referral by your dentist.

EXCELLENT AUGUST 2023 WALK-IN AT 164th, BROADWAY. This is an outstanding surgery practice. I went for four extractions as a walk-in on August 15th, 2023. I arrived at little before opening at 6:45 AM. There were about 8 people ahead of me. I filled out the standard paperwork, showed my insurance ID and then waited my turn for X-ray and procedure. If I had arrived earlier or had an appointment I would have waited less time but I was still out the door as a walk-in by 10:30 AM. Everyone is friendly, professional, understanding and skillful. Wonderful surgeon. Great place. I will highly recommend to my friends and family. Thank you to everyone at DOS!

I've been here twice. This morning I had an appointment for multiple extractions. Got there on time. Waiting room was crowded, but the front desk and techs kept things moving. I was there a total of 2 hours (with general anesthesia). Staff was super nice and efficient. Office was immaculate. My mouth is sore, but that's to be expected. Definitely recommend this office, but do yourself a favor and make an appointment. Walk-ins can wait a long time to see the surgeon.

I needed to get two teeth extracted and initially I was worried because I was misinformed on which location was my appointment (when calling you speak to the call center and not the actual facility) but the girl at the front desk was super nice and helpful; she was able to get me in that day and I was more than willing to wait - since I would’ve been now considered a walk in. I’m so happy I did - the staff is very nice and inside, everything is clean and organized. Once inside, the dr sedated me and next thing I know I was in a chair waiting until it was okay for me to meet my dad. Im sure there are longer waits at places like this but if you have some patience, it’s well worth it. I’m healing nicely and I’m very happy with my experience at this facility.

I had to go to this place as a emergency walk in for my wisdom tooth extraction. The reviews really got to me until I got there and saw how this place wasn’t bad at all. One thing you have to understand if you’re going as a walk in expect to go early before opening time or else the chance of waiting to been seen will take longer. The doctor and her staff were great. Straight to the point.

There’s a notice that they sent out, regarding long wait times, which in NO WAY justifies the EXTREMELY LONG wait time. My appointment was for 10:30AM and I wasn’t seen for nearly 3HRs. I was forced to “prioritize” my appointments (I had a prior, reoccurring appointment at 1PM) that I had to cancel because there was “no way” I was being seen before 1PM. There was also a notice about not eating within 6HRs of the appointment. I am a nursing mother!

I'm not one to give reviews but I think that given the importance of this, it deserves it. On February 26 I had the 2 left wisdom teeth extracted. And this Monday 4March they proceeded with the right side. I have not received a single follow-up call after the procedure and apart from that I cannot contact them with any of the numbers (they put you on hold and then send you the mailbox). I have been trying to contact them for days since I think I have an infection. The pain is very strong and so is the swelling, I continue to bleed and the reset medications are not enough to provide relief. Last week they gave me a very low dose of ibuprofen by mistake and I endured pain, this time I am experiencing worse with more complications and without being able to talk to anyone or communicate. They have not even responded to me despite having left several messages in the mailbox. DO NOT GO to that office!!! not even because the dentist refers it. Go to another branch where your health really matters.

Staff was a little over worked but tried their hardest to be kind . The waiting area definitely needs some love and attention. But the care was great and I walked away with no complications or concerns.

I’m updating this to 3 stars because the dentist herself is very sweet and seems to know what she’s talking about, the nurses too. The organization, management, and scheduling is what needs attention here. This may be the worst dental experience I’ve ever had. You’re better off going to NYU or some other dental school and having a student look at you. They have no regard for your time, expect to wait 3 hours minimum. Take the entire day off work. While I was bleeding and crying in the chair, from not enough novocaine, I heard all about the “parking this morning”. I had a biopsy done and instead of giving me the results over the phone they made me come in person. I asked if I could set up an appointment since there’s always such a long wait and they said, “no”. They told me I had to come in before 12:00 to even be seen… I just want to know my results! I’ve been waiting over an hour now. After waiting over 2 weeks for the results I still don’t know if I have cancer or not. I wish I could give less than 1 star.
