Unprofessional and unreliable medical group. Trying to make an appointment with them is an absolute joke. They do not care for pregnant women and elderly people. I have to go to the hospital or mau to get a diagnosis as they say they can’t give me an appointment because they are fully booked by 9AM but you will be on hold for half an hour. They tell me to call at 8.30 which I do on the dot, by the time I get through there are no appointments. I have been referred to their terrible Online system, which never has any appointments available as soon you check at 8.30. Apparently best way to make an appointment is to queue up at the door, and for someone pregnant or elderly can be difficult as the queues are long and slow. Receptionist are never on the phone when you walk in but the phone is constantly ringing when you ring. Receptionists attitude absolutely stinks. They need some friendly, welcoming receptionist. They appear to be rude towards coloured backgrounds, speaking from experience and witnessing it at the doctors myself. My whole 10 years being with them I have probably attended the doctors 7 times and that is probably because of my check up with my midwife. I will be switching doctors as I can never get an appointment but waiting for my last midwife appointment. I have never wrote a bad review for anyone but this deserves an honest review. My advice is leave this doctor and find somewhere where they will look after you!

Worst surgery very rude staff . No appointments.greedy people. It's prospect medical group. False rating it should be 0 stars very rude staff totally unhelpful. They never have any appointments if you get one it's in weeks. Arrival of your appointment they can meke you wait 40 minutes to an hour but if you are late 1 minute they don't let you attend your appointment. Sometimes they give you appointment and when you there for it they tell you you don't have an appointment lucky for me I had proof twice. Government bodies should take action against these kind of surgeries if they can't lookafter patients why they register so many?

You get told to phone at 8:30 for an appointment but the lines are never available. The online booking system is only good if you’re super super fast. The only interactions I’ve had with the reception team have been disgusting. They’re so rude and I genuinely believe if you were on deaths doors they’d try and prevent you getting an appointment as much as possible. I only signed up to this GP because it was round the corner from where I live. I thought that the reviews probably weren’t representative of the place. But they are. Don’t waste your time signing up here, find somewhere else! I can’t wait to move so I can move GP too!

Recieved a letter for blood results and to know what they are you are requested to call them, which I did first thing and was in a queue of 7 people after the phone was engaged for half an hour. You're then told all routine calls have been taken up and to call again in the morning. ridiculous....! People aren't ringing for Ed Sheeran tickets - They want to know about their health. Have a letter sent to them at the very least, explaining results.

Worst surgery ever. Never can get through. And when you do, you can never even get an appointment until a month later and what's worse is that they have changed the appointment system where you need to call the surgery for pre-booked appointments or on the day which is ridiculous as you never get through to them anyways and when you do they just say call back tomorrow. Also, stinking attitude from all the reception staff, one in particular recently called Naz (she totally made that name up)...asked for an appointment for myself and 1 for my baby and the next question usually is "is it with the doctor or the nurse" but she straight up said the baby could have 1 but I would need to call up again tomorrow for mine. It was to reschedule a blood test but before I could speak she started being rude that I didn't specify its with the nurse, how can I when she didn't even ask who it's with...and they work for the NHS...what a disgrace!!!

Never give you appointments, they message you to book an important appointment and then never answer the phone and when they finally do answer they say the appointments have ran out. Truly need to sort there strategy out because it's ridiculous! They don't help with any solution either. Keep taking on new patients but can't manage the ones they have already.

Nurses are very friendly and sweet, doctors are nice enough and seem competant. Reception staff can be pretty hit or miss (many people have mentioned there is at least one very rude and condescending receptionist working here). The biggest negative for me personally is that, for the past few months, the phone doesnt connect (line busy). If you do manage to get through, it kicks you back out to the top of the phone tree multiple times while you're waiting. Something is deeply wrong with the phone system, and has been for months. JUNE 2022 EDIT: Phone line seems mostly fixed now. Nasty receptionist is still there, however.

In this medical center some doctors are not helpful & not really serving to community, they don't listen to petients, what they damage to my family member because of doctors naglegency, couldn't daignose the serous disease, after suffering years then sent to the hospital it was too late. When doctor was asked by the person please send me to hospital I couldn't bear pain, doctor used to respond,I know better because I'm doctor & she gave wrong medicine, i know the doctor name I don't want to mention here ,I have spoken to my solicitor about the issue he told me if you want I can file the case against her, might doctor end up to court, and you will get compansation thousands of pounds, I told him please don't leave it. Only I have mentioned here to make aware to our community.

The reception staff sound like they can't be bothered at the best of times. Particularly the older lady, she lacks any decency/customer service skills. If you don't like your job, get a new one. You're not the bouncers to the NHS and no one is calling purely to talk to you. It's frustrating. I was with these lot for years, and as soon as I changed GP, i learned a new standard. Forget these lot and avoid

I am 60 years of age. Prospect Medical Group have been my GP surgery since birth. I now find it impossible to see a GP. The phones are engaged, the econsult option message says that they take consultations at 8.30am and the message is instantly changed to not available. I have tried calling to the reception to make an appointment but got told to ring in the morning as nothing is available. Basically, you cannot see a GP unless you are extremely fortunate. I just find the service to be non existent. It is nothing like the service I have received in the past. In the past they had pleasant receptionists, appointment availability and a much better service. I wish there was an option for no stars.

Terrible behaviour. No one picks up the call you have to be on hold for hours and then they say no appointment available. And the reception lady don't like to hear that. Like others have mentioned in reviews, it helps if you are white.

HIT AND MISS with this GP! I can understand that this GP is very busy due to its location. However the phone triage is very poor and you can never get an appointment! However the newly updated website allows you to book in your appointments but this can be troublesome for those who find difficulty using digital devices such as a mobile phone. The staff are lovely especially the nurses and doctors :) some of the receptionist and senior management are hit and miss !!!

Got to call about 150 times at 8:30 on the dot for an appointment and you will be very lucky to get it. Doctors don’t really care and reception staff are all pretty rude and sharp. If you’re lucky enough to get an appointment it’s always delayed massively. Only people who are nice are the nursing staff if you need bloods

Very poor and in fact am thinking of moving back to my old gp, it even worst when urgent situation appointments are kept for months, no genuine patient care, being trying to get hold of a midwife since but seems the first appointment will finally be booked in after my birth. Your patience is 6 month pregnant and still no appointment or even a first meeting regarding scans, fatal care or anything...useless. very unconcerned place.

Rang up to speak to a doctor as I was worried about my daughter and was told ‘well I would of advised you rang at 8.30 this morning as we close in half an hour’ well I didn’t need an appointment this morning and also the website states you close at 8pm on a Monday not 6pm. So rude and unnecessary making me feel worse especially when I’m already worried about my child. Is that not what a gp practice is there for or are they there to make you feel like an inconvenience for calling? There’s no need for the constant snide comments off the reception staff. Will be leaving this practice as I’m so fed up of the attitude of staff and also the lack of appointments.

This surgery is an absolute nightmare, rang 8.30am on the dot trying to call non stop just kept saying user busy tried non stop for half N hour carried on trying just to be told all the appointments are gone when you finally do get through. The attitude of reception staff is disgusting if you’re not happy in your job leave don’t put patients through your misery! Unhelpful and so rude full of attitude and sarcasm no need for it. Even when the doctor rang me from there he was trying to get me off the line so quick I couldn’t even get a word in edgeways kept cutting me off when I was trying to ask a qs and trying to get me off the line like he was not bothered at all can’t even explain how bad he was. This surgery has really gone downhill over the years.

Have had positive experiences here and the GP actually listened to my partner and stood up for her when people at the hospital weren't listening. Can be hard to get through and the phone message is long (maybe that could be shorter?), getting an appointment can involve a wait and sometimes you have to insist. I don't blame the staff - they shouldnt have to be rationing healthcare because demand is high and this horrendous government is underfunding the NHS whatever the costs to staff and patients. I get the impression staff work very hard and don't deserve all the criticism they have had on here. Imagine working incredibly hard through the pandemic, made so much worse by this pathetic, dangerous government, and then getting all this stick? Not fair.

Outrageous, this practise for the past year, never have appointments when calling in the morning, understanding it can be busy but damn, least stop taking any more patients and transfer. Condescending, whoever spoken to on the phone, however there are good staff at the practise.

I wish I could give zero stars. If these guys gave me a clean bill of health I’d worry for my future. During my mothers end of life care they didn’t seem to know what medicine or dosage to be using and were constantly corrected by professionals with actual knowledge. Also at one point recommended antidepressants which would have taken weeks to begin working but as she had only a couple weeks left to live and was finding it increasingly difficult to swallow this seemed stupid at best. When her health dramatically declined and we asked for further assistance they assessed her as “ok to continue as she is” and said they would be back in a couple days to assess further. She’s died within 36 hours. Particularly useless I wouldn’t trust any medical or any other advice these folks would dish out. One and only positive is the people who answer the phones seem nice.

Has seriously gone down hill over the years. At one point they cared for their patients. Now it is just a business. Ring for an appointment and you get through to a stuck up receptionist telling you to go to A&E. Can understand high pressure of work, but this GP is beyond a joke. They need more professional receptionist who actually help patients rather than fob them off and doctors who have a duty of care for their patients rather than doctors who want to be businessmen.

I would give this place a -1 star it's an absolute disgrace canit get an appointment, canit get through when they tell you to ring, when you do they just tell you they don't have any appointments. I had a prescription on repeat and now they're telling me it's not on repeat anymore and I am now suffering due to not being able to get my medication, And they tell me "I'm not sure what to tell you" what kind of response is this when I need my medication. This place needs comletely new staff I've had problem after problem with this place. Disgusting.

Never pick up when you try and ring. Staff are 9/10 times rude. You go to the doctors when you are unwell to only be treated poorly. Tried to book appointment online but the website doesn’t even exist. The link is broken.

Combination of terrible doctors are there Oh my God👿👿. I went there to get help from the Gpy and instead of helping me the doctor shocked me by shouted at me! The doctor who works there on Thursdays. The other doctor was telling that I have to book another appointment, because she can only discuss one symptom at a time. I couldn’t believe that!! And I’m having terrible allergy reaction at the moment and they told me that I have to go to RVI hospital. What kind of gpy is that!!

Awful practice I would get private medical insurance. GPS themselves try to get you out as soon as possible. Receptionist are rude. Only problem is these are the NHS GP and have to go through these to get any sort of referral.

This must be one of the worst surgeries I ever had a displeasure to deal with through professional capacity. Rude and unresponsive staff and you really get a sense they do not care about their patients. They don't respond to emails and ignore concerns raised regarding their patients. I actually heard some elderly people express that they feel like they have been forgotten and left to die by this surgery. If I could give zero or minus stars I would.

  • 5/5 Aria R. 1 year ago on Google
The 5 stars that I have left are for Naz at reception. I can't recommend her enough. Naz is very professional and always quick to respond to any issues that may occur. She is caring and cares for the patients' well-being and always tries her best to ensure that the patients leave the building satisfied. I came across a slight problem with one of the doctors at the practice and it was good to know that Naz had my back and that she was trying her best to resolve the issue. She's honestly one of the best receptionists I have come across in all the years that I have gone to the GP. Caring, compassionate and sympathetic. Something which is rare to find these days. Upon entrance she has this beautiful smile to greet the patients and it's honestly so lovely to see especially when we're drowning in our thoughts about our problems/illness.

This place deserves no stars but unfortunately I had to give one to be able to post this review. Avoid this surgery at all costs… useless rude staff on the reception! Completely unhelpful! unfriendly and unprofessional!! You’ll never get an appointment quickly no matter how urgently you need it. Doctors constantly coming and going which speaks volumes! I have left this surgery now.. best thing I did!
