    I went to return something and the Maryam at Lingerie, was so rude that she felt like it was above her to help me. She told me to go to another register. I told her I did and that they were closed. She clearly hates her job and doesn’t hide it. I ended up returning it via post (online). But I’m really done with the bay. The are going where Sears has gone. Only that Sears was an actual good department store.

    I purchased two dresses exactly three weeks ago today. When I left it beeped but I stood there for a moment and no one came to check so I left. I got ready for event and something was hitting me in the leg. I realized they had missed a security tag. I wore it anyway. Returned today to have it removed with the receipt and the woman at the front Camille I believe was her name was immediately dismissive. She asked me where in the store I purchased it. It was right near the front cash where the clearance dresses are.She tried to tell me those weren't their tags, she seemed accusatory and immediately assumed I had stolen it. She called her manager Rose who seemed to believe me as I had the receipt, and she went to the back to remove it. Camille also asked me what event it was for which usually could be interpreted as kindness but it really felt like she was interrogating me. Thank goodness for the lovely manager Rose but the cashiers demeanor when I brought the dress upfront was unacceptable. I'm a grown woman and have been shopping, PURCHASING items from there for years. I've never been treated like a criminal until today.

    I went to purchase a perfume on men’s perfume section on August 26 at around 5 pm. The lady on the counter was not interested on helping me. Her customer service was very bad… she didn’t ask if I was a member of Bay. I told myself that I am a member and I want to redeem my points. With a purchase of around 200$, she didn’t even give a sample for which I had to tell her myself. Basically, she didn’t care whether or not anybody purchase from them. Other Bays, I always used to get great customer service and a handful of great perfume samples on each purchase. It seems like the lady on the perfume counter doesn’t love her job or May be people. If you can’t treat your costumers well, there is no point you are taking that position. Whoever is visiting the Bay Newmarket, I personally don’t recommend to visit the perfume department. Very Rude!!! Zero star for the lady working there!!!

    I was at shoes department waiting over half hour for the staff serve the the customer such as purchase enquiry but not for shoes. He is busy not for shoes department. Once he serve me he still need to answe a lot of enquiry.i quite and leave.

    I like this Hudson's Bay store. Not sure how much longer this chain will continue. Its a large store and I think that they have realized you need sales to draw people into a brick and mortar store.Their quality has always been superior. Its a 2 level store with spacious lighting wide aisles and decent merchandising. located in Upper Canada Mall Newmarket.

    I recently visited Hudson's Bay for some shopping, and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed. The store has a great selection of items, ranging from clothing and accessories to home decor and appliances. What stood out to me was the fantastic customer service. The employees were incredibly helpful and friendly, and they were quick to offer assistance or answer any questions I had. I felt comfortable browsing the store without feeling pressured to buy anything, but when I did have a question, someone was always nearby and willing to help. The store was clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what I was looking for. And when I was having trouble finding something in particular, the staff gladly helped me search for it. Another thing I appreciated was the variety of items within each category. For example, there were a ton of different brands and styles of clothing to choose from, so I had a lot of options when it came to finding something that fit my taste and budget. Overall, I highly recommend Hudson's Bay for anyone looking for a great shopping experience. The quality of the products and customer service are both top-notch, making it one of my favorite department stores to visit.

    Great place, lots of variety. I bought a suit and it was cheaper than at other stores ($100-$200 for dress shirt, dress pants, and a suit jacket). Pretty good service, too, the employees know where everything is.

    Way Over priced and bazzar selection of goods. This store is Old granted however you can update your styles and remove the perfume counter from the entrance,walk in am a wall of every grandparents perfume you can imagine . Instant headache , couldn't imagine if I was a senior or had sensitivity too scents and cologne.

    We bought a perfume from Bay and their behavior and morals were very bad. They didn't even ask us if we needed anything else. I am not at all satisfied with their behavior and will not buy from Bay again

    Always a good place to shop. Month of July with good sales, store has a variety of good quality brands, we looked for men shirts, Lacoste, Calvin Kline, Polo, Black &Brown. Store a little disorganized , I got a little desoriented when looking for items especially when looking for men shirts different sizes and help was not offered . Overall it is a good option for shopping.

    When in looking for a business/cas winter coat, found a great coat after a little searching, no staff to help make looking easier, wanted the coat I picked in gray, no stock in gray. Still happy with the coat I got. Over all I like shopping here for suits, I will return.

    Nice and clean store! 1 star goes for poor customer service at perfume section. Almost no knowledge about the products, cold attitudes not welcoming at all. I was misinformed about the $50 point redeeming. I was told I would get $50 off if I purchase anything over $150 which I did and then the employee said that I needed to purchase a second product in order to get $50 off. It did not make sense. Never will purchase anything fron this Bay store in particular.

    I usually have no issues here but my last visit wasn't great. It's all due to a staff member, her and her attitude. I was holding my wife's clothes asking her for check out, she was telling me that it was about closing time and there isn't enough time to try them on, with her eyes rolling. I had to repeat myself that I was looking for a check out counter. 5 star for the Bay store and its ambiance. For this particular staff member I would just give zero.

    I came here to buy something for my husbands birthday, and Maral in the mens department was very helpful. She helped me find the perfect sports suit for my husband who doesn’t have time to come into store. She was patient, kind and very helpful. Five stars just because of her!

    Stopped in at 7 pm an hour before close on a Monday and Julia in the men's suit department measured me and gave great thoughtful recommendations based on my style and price point. 10/10 service. Julia was great to deal with. Will definitely return!

    Lots of good deals to be found. The quality at the Bay is always just that little bit better than what the other stores are offering, and so much better than Amazon stuff. For example they have lots if selection of towel colours in the bedding and bath area, and they all feel just that little bit more luxurious.

    Went to chanel for a return ..tara questioned me as to why I didnt do my.return at my store of purchase saying this affects their location sales. Further took a photo of my receipt on her personal phone. .will never shop here

    nice. clean. quiet. the furniture was extremely comfortable which makes sense, since it as all very expensive. there was some great kitchen products. Strangely, I felt like I was being followed by a staff member, because I guess I looked like someone who'd try to steal an air fryer.

    The Bay has become irrelevant with too much quirky clothing. More of a women's store. However I did find a nice dress shirt and tie at a great price. They used to be great. Chances of finding suitable products is slim.

    The return of online purchases was not as simple as it should have been. They got the job done in the end, but took them a couple of phone calls to other departments and me waiting close to an hour and being quite persistent. I don't recommend shopping online for The Bay. Go in person. Product quality is very good.

    Sadly, the shopping experience here is very poor. Several times in the recent past we have tried to shop here for wedding attire and were not able to get any help in either the men's department nor the women's departments. In fact, it seems as if the staff " run for cover" when they see you coming. When we approached the service desks, the staff didn't even look up at us. I think this experience is the nail in the coffin for me ever trying to shop here again.
