Wedding dress shopping with my daughter and our experience was flawless! The staff are so kind and helpful. The gowns are stunning! I would definitely recommend The Gown to any bride looking for her special dress!!

Bought my wedding dress from The Gown and couldn't be happier with my experience there. Alex was very accommodating with what I was looking for and after 5 dress try ons we found the dress of my dreams!!! The whole process of purchasing my dress was very seamless, they kept me informed with when to expect the dress and the first dress fitting appointment went without a hitch. That's when I also purchased all my accessories, hair clip, earrings and a bracelet. I would highly recommend The Gown for your wedding dress!!!

Genuinely, BEST bridal shop I've been to. Emily did SUCH a phenomenal job helping me pick out my dream dress, while paying close attention to every detail! Every time I tried on a dress, she took the time to ask what I liked / didn't like with each one, all while providing the best & most authentic service I've seen!! The staff is so kind + welcoming - from the moment I stepped foot into this place, they made me feel SO comfortable and welcome. I had the best experience at The Gown by FAR out of all of the boutiques I went to!

My dress experience at The Gown was perfect! As someone who really doesn’t love shopping and trying on clothes, I was sooo nervous to try on wedding dresses but Katie put me at ease right away! The boutique itself is so cute! My friends and family were so comfortable on the couches while they watched me try on beautiful dresses! Katie was amazing at making suggestions but also taking my lead on what I felt most comfortable in! In the end I said yes to the dress!!! After hearing stories of brides going to many bridal stores and trying on hundreds of dresses , I am so relieved I made the right decision to only go to The Gown, and that I found my dream dress after trying on only 6 dresses! When you know, you know, and this dress was everything I could have dreamed of and more! I can’t thank Katie and the Gown Girls enough for such a great experience! I can’t wait to come back to put on my dress again once it comes in! 💗🎉

Cannot recommend The Gown enough! After having quite the mediocre experience at Kleinfeld, this place is the go to if you're in the York Region area! The girls are all so friendly and professional - it's like walking into your friend's living room with a bunch of friendly faces (though this living room looks so much nicer!) It was such an easy and fun experience trying on dresses and then eventually saying yes to the dress! I picked up my wedding dress from The Gown in 2019 and then patiently waited until last weekend to finally put it on for my wedding that was postponed twice because of the pandemic. I knew we needed to go through with our wedding reception just so i could wear this dress. I don't think i could've gotten more compliments on the dress if i tried. Thank you Emily and The Gown team for making my dress dreams come true. It was worth the wait!

I purchased my wedding dress from the Gown last year, and it was one of the best experiences for me. Even though we were limited to the amount of people I could have at my appointment, and masks had to be worn etc. Alex made the appointment extra special. She listened to what I was looking for and offered her opinion in a kind, professional way. She made me feel on top of the world and paid so much attention to detail. It was such a great experience and not to mention I absolutely loved my dress!

I just purchased my dress at The Gown and had a wonderful experience! Danni helped me find a specific dress I was looking for (so happy!) and also offered a selection of other dresses to choose from. She was friendly and professional and made me feel comfortable through the dress buying experience (so important!) I loved the personal touches they offered, including a personalized sign in my dressing room and a follow up thank you card. They have a great selection of dresses, so I highly recommend making an appointment with The Gown if you are looking for your dream dress!

The Gown staff was amazing! Although I did not purchase my dress there they had stunning gowns, one was a VERY close second. The staff were super welcoming and they had very comfy slippers for us to wear. The rooms were very clean and private. Jessica was one of the best bridal consultants I had and I went to many stores. I recommend The Gown to every bride looking for their wedding dress! You will not be disappointed!!

I had the pleasure of working with Jessica when I was looking for my dress and let me tell you... she was the most patient, kind, helpful person and I am EXTREMELY thankful I had her as my stylist. I had no idea what style I wanted and had only tried on handful of dresses before this appointment. I arrived and was welcomed with open arms into a private room that was setup with a Zoom meeting for my girls who were unable to attend. Jessica took the time to show me a few additional dresses (aside from the ones I selected) and was so accommodating to my, need I say, pain in the butt! When we finally found the dress, she had me try on one other one and just knew by the look on my face which was my dress. She took the time and made me feel beautiful! I am forever grateful for her patience and honest opinions; I found my dream dress I didn't even know I had! (Jessica, I hope you see this! Thank you so much for everything. My oh my, I cannot get over the experience I had with Alex at the gown. Alex easily made finding my wedding gown one of the best days of my life. She was so thoughtful, knowledgeable and caring throughout the whole day. Not just Alex, but everyone at the Gown left me feeling like a Princess all day long. I can’t thank the Gown girls enough for helping my gown dreams come true! Now I can’t wait for the big day to show off the dress! If you were looking for a place to get your wedding gown, this is it! My first and only bridal appointment was at The Gown with the help of Ashley. My experience could not have been more seamless! From the moment I arrived, Ashley was welcoming, kind and above all else, genuine in her approach to help me find what I was looking for.
