    I appreciated the fact that there were several young employees when I visited - likely high school students working for the first time. The young individual who was manning both the til and handoff was especially very hard working and trying his absolute best when the store got very busy. Other people were maybe not as patient with him but he did not falter. I was impressed by his politeness and efforts to provide his customers their orders in a timely manner. When I complimented him, his face lit up with a bright smile. I imagine he would grow up to be a well-contributing member of society. The other young individual making the burgers was equally hard working and trying his best as well, looking at every order on the monitor to ensure he was making them properly. I asked for my burger without onions, and it was made to my liking. There was a third individual diligently making the fries, taking care to ensure all of the fries orders under his care had a nice portion size. It was the best portion of small fries I had ever tried at Wendy’s. Props to the store manager who is willing to take young talent like them under their wings to show them the ropes of earning money the proper way. 10/10 would visit again.

    The best Wendy's location I've been to in years. It looks to have been renovated in the last few years. The bathrooms are disgusting and didn't make it into the reno budget (obviously). But the staff are friendly, and they do a good job. They actually fill the gravy container, and the order was correct. They have self-serve pop machines, coke branded, with the nifty selections of adding extra flavouring: vanilla, cherry, etc. The eat in area was fairly clean, could have been cleaner but definitely alright as far as fast food goes.

    Just went in for some food the manager there did a great job making sure my order was made fresh as per request i didnt see her name but she was really nice and making sure not only the drive thru was quick but making sure i got fresh food

    Hi there, everytime I go here there is a very nice young lady working very hard and is always very nice to me. I do not know her name but I believe she is blonde and from East Europe. This lady goes above and beyond for this business please consider giving her a pay increase.

    Just went in to the restaurant and placed an order when the machines went down and wasn’t able to pay I asked if the drive thur was still working but was told only cars can use it. I simply asked if the staff could walk my card down there and I could use that to pay and was told no. That they would have to cancel the order. What horrible customer service.

    I have a full blown wendys addiction, and ever since I moved to Newmarket this fall, I have been searching for a Wendy's good enough to make my daily eatery. Unfortunately, this is not it. It's better than the Wendy's at Yonge and Davis but still falls shy of what I have come to expect from Dave Thomas. The fries were delicious and fresh, but the jbc's I ordered had so much salt in them, I just about wretched. Oh and that famous delicious homestyle lemonade which drives my wendys addiction? It clearly tasted watered down. The staff are friendly for sure, but then there's the manager who powertrips on the staff, is always frowning, is rude or confrontational to customers, etc. I can't even fathom how much business she is preventing the restaurant from bringing in. I'm literally addicted to Wendy's food, but was repulsed by this location. At least the facility looked clean. The best Wendy's in southern Ontario is the one at ellesmere and Kennedy in Toronto. I suggest reaching out to them, and seeing if they'll help you understand what it takes to be the best you can be. For sure this is still the best Wendy's I found in Newmarket so far, but there is lots of room for improvement. You don't make money by cutting corners; you do it by being exceptional. I'll update this whenever I notice an improvement/correction.

    Food was perfect to my expectation, my only issue was with the atmosphere/service. When I came up to the counter no one was at it. That's acceptable, people have needs that can't be met standing at a counter. (Washroom breaks) Anyway to the point of the problem, there was what seemed to be a manager standing "door way" to the kitchen doing nothing but hollering front counter. She hollard at least 5 times for front counter while I stood there rather then taking the initiative and 30 seconds of her time to ring me in quickly. The lady who did finally come up and serve me was fantastic though. Friendly, thorough and quick to get me on my way.

    I just ordered take out through uber eats and everything was spot on! I had already anticipated that they would have haphazardly throw random things in the bag and hope for the best because of the time (11:45pm) but EVERYTHING was in the bag. Sandwich’s looked exactly like on the ad, curly lettuce and all! My frosty was still solid, my fries were HOT! I’m thrilled! 😃 sorry I don’t have any pics, but hats off to the team tonight🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿

    My goodness I can’t believe how good my Cheeseburger Combo was today. I haven’t been in months & it was delicious. Cheeseburger & fries. Simple quick dinner & could not have been better. Hot & tasty.

    I don’t usually write reviews but everything about my order was wrong. I simply got a classic Asiago combo. My fries were cold and some of them were raw. My sandwich only had ranch sauce.

    I ordered by mobile app, but unfortunately, I was able to see the staff forget the customizations for my order. I had to tell the person handing me the food and then show them the order had mistakes before they fixed it. I hope it was just a trainee error. They were not busy at all, so I hope they sort out the problems.

    Absolutely horrendous service. Stood in line (in store) about 6pm for 20 min before order was taken. We even asked whether we should go through the drive thru because that was all the employees were looking after. It was busy I get it but the staff were miserable other than the employee with the funky hair. When we asked why is it taking so long to take our order, the response was they are short staffed. They even closed the store for a good 30 min in order to be able to serve the 12 customers waiting in line. I get it that you can be short staffed but at least acknowledge the customers. For a good 5 min there was not a single employee at the counter. One particular employee Mandeep) was so miserable and her face was angry looking, like we were bothering her. Burger was cold and fries tasted like their oil has not been changed in a while. Would not recommend!

    My first experience in this location, Rude manager, long time to take my order( nobody was in front of me), If you had a bad night sleep, it's not my fault, early in the morning. It was my first time I downloaded wendy's app and tried to scan it before paying, she (manager)says:I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS THIS APP, I'm not a person to take my time and write reviews, but I do for Rude Employees and unwelcome places.

    I would have to say I am a little upset with this location atm. I went to order 2 cheeseburgers and on the drive through sign they were listed for $1.99 each. The manager (who was taking the order at 2:40pm, November 29th, 2022) punched them in at $2.10 each. Now I am not one to concern myself over a 20 cent difference but I am one to concern myself over the price laws in Ontario. I requested she change the price to $1.99 each and she completely refused to do so. That is what upsets me the most. She should know that 20 cents was not worth upsetting a customer for. Again, I am only complaining on principle and not the puny 20 cents. The place has good burgers but may be limited in other areas. Upon review they should have given one burger free of charge.

    We we already having a rough night from the get go, we just drove 3 hours to come to the 24 hour vet service. We get or order and than of course phone calls start happening. 🙄 Not only 1 but 2 employees, after telling us there was no bake potatoes. Proceeds to push us about picking something in replacement for the meal. Which they set us off and made us more overwhelmed. Very pushy and kept asking what she liked but she was on a call with the vets office. They actually became pretty rude and than I barked at the that her dog was in an accident and to give her a minute. However as soon as we got off the phone and they both asked again at the Sametime which they my neice was right worked up. I'll probably be calling and complaining. As they honestly could have just left our stuff to the side and stopped trying to push us out the door and make are night that much more emotional than it already was. There was someone else they could have served him the worst part was they had push and still weren't even closing for another half an hour. It was rude and uncalled for! FOOD WAS SUPER GOOD. THEY COULD HAVE HAD A GREAT REVIEW. BUT INSTEAD RECEIVED THIS!!!

    Terrible service! There is an African American lady who I’m pretty sure is the manager, she was just plain rude when they got my order wrong she made a face as if I made the mistake. And then they still messed up my order and didn’t want to bother dealing with her since she would clearly have another stank face and probably spit in my food. The upper management need to fire this woman and actually hire someone who likes their job. Staff aren’t properly trained since they couldn’t get the order right.. waste of money and time. And the food was cold and barley had any condiments. If I could I’d give them a -5 “star”

    Tried the Davis Single which is okay. My kids said the nuggets were okay but they liked the McDonald's more. The staff here was nice. In general, it's a good option if you are tired of other fast food stores.

    Excellent example of a Fast Food Burger place. Great location just off the hwy, loads of parking if you're dinning in or you can do the drive thru. Location was super clean during my visit and the service was fast and polite. Food was spot on and that's that. Nothing crazy, just things the way they should be. Keep it up.
