i was really excited to see this starbucks by my home and decided to check it out. i like the interior, like any starbucks but the staff.. firstly when i walked in it was empty (understandable it’s new so it’s not busy) and there were 8 staff just talking. i come wait at the cash for one of the girls to take my order, i instantly felt unwelcomed when the workers glared at me saying nothing. finally one of the workers approach to take my order i say my first order and midway into my second order the girl walks away to carry the conversation to her coworkers then comes back to me. it’s okay i said my order but my drinks were just not how i asked. but again i didn’t say a thing (prob should have tbh) but they’re all new staff training w/ time improvements will be made. i just wish they were trained to just be welcoming and some professionalism.. not just highschool/college mean girl vibes. i truly hope they change for the better overtime, i love starbucks especially the other locations.

I have had a wonderful experience at this Starbucks. The people are amazing, the drinks are made with love and the atmosphere is beautiful. I highly recommend this location.

This is a relatively new Starbucks. Went here with a friend. Clean overall place, including washrooms. Friendly baristas. Prompt service. It's also close to some other nice restaurants, and right off the 401 at Davis Drive, so it's a relatively handy location if you need to just run in. Recommended location.

If you're grabbing a quick drink on the go, this location is perfect. I first visited this place on a weekday evening with a friend after dinner. The employees were quite friendly and attentive, and were welcoming as soon as we walked in. I'm surprised with the other reviewer's comments about the customer service. I had a pretty friendly experience. Drinks were made quickly and properly, per typical Starbucks fashion. There is plenty of parking, especially as the plaza is brand new. I suspect that this location is mostly intended to be an "express" Starbucks, as it is located right off the 404 highway and they have a drive-thru. There is some seating inside with outlets where you can study, though it's not your typical cozy Starbucks vibe. There is about a handful of small tables and a few comfy arm chairs by the windows. The interior is definitely simpler, and there is less of an ambience compared to other locations, like Stackhouse or even Upper Canada Mall. I wonder if they will be adding more to the interior as it looks a little empty/plain compared to typical Starbucks coffee shops. This location is super convenient for commuters using the highway -- I've been coming by this location every morning this week on my way to work, and there are rarely any cars in the drive-thru, so I'm in and out within a couple of minutes. It's the perfect situation for me and I find it much more convenient than other locations in Newmarket. I heard that Starbucks is moving towards a more on-the-go-friendly service model, as opposed to their original sit-in cafe business model, which explains why this location looks and feels different. Bottom line: If you're picking up a quick drink on the way somewhere - this location is perfect, reliable and has drive-thru. If you want a place to study or chat with a friend, there is definitely the opportunity, but keep in mind that the interior is a little simpler and the ambience might be more cozy at other locations.

Absolute amazing service! I've been by almost daily since... about one week after they opened. The staff - The most welcoming crew I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Always Have smiles on their faces and go above and beyond to make sure every customer (that I've seen) is satisfied. The product - [Latte] almost always made perfect (only had 1 issue and the staff fixed it without hesitation!) [Sandwich] Never once had an issue, always fast, hot, and delicious. The store - Always clean, and I mean everything! bathrooms, counters, dining room, staff work area, you name it. Music is always upbeat, but never to loud Just a great experience all around, and is always a highlight of my day

We just lost our 10 week old kitten on Wednesday evening and when I went this morning to get my coffee Jodi (and all the other staff) were so kind to me. Jodi asked "how are you today" in the most caring manner, I became a bit tearful and she made my day by coming and giving me a hug because I was upset. This is the best c/s I have experienced in years!! I order from this location every morning since it opened and the staff here are always friendly and wonderful! Thank you.

First time visiting since opening and really great experience :) mobile ordered 2 drinks, and the wait time for them in drive thru was so quick!!! Barista was super friendly + engaging at the window. Also a very convenient spot right off of Davis, especially as someone who has to get on the 404 whenever I want Starbucks lol. Def recommend this location for its baristas and easy location!

Worst Starbucks in the area, they made my drink wrong and when going back to get them to fix it, instead of taking the drink to fix it or make a new one. Instead they gave me the ingredients missing in another cup and an additional empty bigger cup to fix the drink myself. Working at a Starbucks myself previously, this not how you run customer service. Lorne needs to be retrained on customer service.

Nice place with plenty of seats. Nice place to enjoy your coffee and do your work or study. The staffs are friendly and caring. Safe environment. You can leave your table and get a fresh air and get back to your table.

Everything is great, I will update my review as soon as I see improvement, Staff and coffee is awesome like always...however staff are having hard time hearing orders from drive through because microphone picks up street noise....I hope decision makers ,come up with a solution to help out staff and patrons.

Nice place to sit, unwind, relax have a coffee or tea. Friendly bunch and clean.

New location, first time in, serene setting, staff are friendly, drive thru was really quite busy too!
