Should have checked comments before I went in. Sad to see I’m not the only colored person that went to this restaurant and felt mistreated. Food is average and the treatment to my family by the waiting staff was awful. Would go to another table and sound really pleasant, but would come with a face rushing us when it was time to order. Then the waitress was surprised when my husband was waiting for his $50 of change for a bill that wasn’t much.

Racist! In all possible ways you can explain it. First off me and my brother are Hispanics and active duty marine corps. We have a big family, and we took a family trip up to Niagara Falls. I chose Salisa’s as the reviews were good. Upon being seated the older waitress was very rude, but my mom kept telling me to hold my tongue and be kind. We occupied approximately 4 tables in the small establishment. When an older Caucasian customer walked in the older waitress looked at them and said “good luck dealing with this mess” and rolled her eyes towards my family. Disgusted by the treatment and being rushed to order I hardly touched my food. When I walked out of the restaurant and “STILL LEFT A TIP”. The waitress comes over and says “my dog wouldn’t even leave a plate like this.” It took everything in my power not to cause a scene that day. My dad said “god doesn’t like ugly and we left.” The pancakes were also extremely dry and she wondered why I didn’t eat two the size of the plate. If you are anything besides Caucasian I suggest eating elsewhere.

Wow! That all meat omelet was amazing. Great service and great local food. I don't see why people will skip this place and go to Cracker Barrel or Waffle house. This place is a must.

We happened upon this little gem on a random road trip and will be back for sure! The food was great very fresh and delicious, generous servings. The curly fries were crispy and tasty! Our waitress was very attentive but not excessive whenever we needed something she was right there to get it but it never felt like she was hovering. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very welcoming and felt like it was a real community! I would recommend this place to anyone and am excited to go back when I'm in town again!

My daughter and I traveled to Buffalo for the AFC playoffs and came across this place because it was close to the hotel the day of the game. As soon as we walked in in our Bengals gear they booed us. But there were smiles behind those boos and simple competitiveness between our teams. We ordered breakfast and it was delicious. When we went to pay, our breakfast was paid for by the Bills mafia! I would highly recommend visiting this little gem.

Divey little roadside diner that offers up genius portions of tasty homemade comfort food. We stopped in and sampled the turkey plate lunch along with the chicken and biscuits specials. While the turkey plate was good. The stuffing was homemade with lots of soft breading and chunks of veggies; just like your grandma would make. The green beans were perfectly seasoned and strongly reminded me of my grandmas canned beans; my favorite. The turkey, and potatoes were good, needed just a touch of s&p Now to get down to the star of the show. Those chicken & biscuits. Imagine deliciously rich pot pie filling with a generous amount of shredded chicken mixed in, sitting on top of homemade biscuits. A deconstructed pot pie with tender veggies and packed with flavor. Service was quick and friendly. It's the type of establishment your grandparents frequent for dinner, and everyone seems to know each other. Portions are enough to share. Highly suggest giving this hole in the wall a try!

This place is great, Sal and Lisa are the nicest people you will ever meet. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. If you go try the Jeff burger, it is great.

Been coming to Salisa for many many years. Today, wasn’t the best. The older waitress was rude, fake and concerned with her regulars. (Who seemed to be upset that we were sitting at their booth) Waited for food and it was 11am. The roast beef special was swimming in water. Not sure how I spent $50 for two lunches and one was a special. Going down hill👎

Smallish seating area with counter service. Relaxed atmosphere. Food and coffee good. Had omelet which was served w/o any extras (comes with toast which I cannot eat due to dietary restrictions). The omelet was very tasty. It was apparent there are regulars here who are well known to the staff.

Very small and dated dining room, but the cheerful staff more than compensates for that. The food was hot & delicious and the service exceptional!

The older woman there today was completely rude and ignorant. She was racist because my boyfriend was black and treated us terrible. I will never go there again. She embarrassed my family and I am very upset. She should not have a job there .

What a fun place for breakfast. Food was really good and price more than fair. Come support a local business and you won't be sorry.

The fish fry is to die for, and the service is great too. The only complaint I could have is the inside is a little worn and dated, but what else can you expect from a classic American diner like this.

A hidden gem. My favorite breakfast is closed one a day a week so I tried this one out while I was visiting back home in NF. This place is fantastic. We all ordered omelets and they were all packed with lots of delicious goodies! Definitely will go back and highly recommend!!!!
