I recently visited Indian Kitchen King at Niagara, NY. It’s a home style restaurant, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. While the food was great, spicy, and served in large portions, the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant left something to be desired. We had chicken biriyani, lamb biriyani, plane rice, ruhi fish karahi, chicken karahi, and garlic naan. I could tell that they were prepared with care and attention to spices & flavor. However, the state of the restaurant was a bit concerning. The floors were dirty, and the tables were not properly cleaned. It made me feel uncomfortable to eat in such an environment. Additionally, the language barrier with the waitress was a bit difficult, as she did not understand English well. However, she was well-behaved and tried her best to accommodate us. Overall, I think that Indian Kitchen King has great food, but there are areas that need improvement in terms of cleanliness and hygiene.

I would give no stars if I could. The most terrible experience I have ever come across. The customer service could seem to care less about if we were having a good time or if we needed anything. The proportions were so tiny for 20$, and when we were eating, my daughter realized there was a piece of glass in her food. We told the cook, but they reacted as if there wasn’t a problem. This restaurant is fooling everyone. Too expensive. False advertisement. Rude service. And a restaurant that has scarred my biryani experience. Don’t recommend this restaurant at all, there are way better places other than this place.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Indian Kitchen King, and it was truly a remarkable experience. With a reasonable price range of $150, the restaurant offers generous portions that won't disappoint. The customer service was outstanding, and the restaurant upheld impeccable cleanliness. The authentic flavors of their expertly prepared dishes left me craving for more. If you're seeking a top-notch Indian dining experience, Indian Kitchen King is a must-visit.

Worst biryani I have ever had. 20$ for biryani and just imagine the biryani has only rice I had to search for pieces lol. It has exactly 4 pieces. I would never recommend anyone to buy from this place. The picture shows biryani after I had those little 4 pieces. (Biryani is just masala rice with some 4 or 5 pieces). The owner or Chef whoever he is never carried a smile even though I greeted him well. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE. To the Owner or whoever he is : stop showing your attitude dude. You just own a restaurant not the entire Niagara so chill out and just be nice to people and provide good food. I hope you will learn one day. Good luck though.

Worst food I have ever tasted in USA. Kadhai paneer was just raw onions, Tomato and burnt milk flavoured paneer with no gravy( picture attached). Seriously disappointed 😞 Paneer kulcha was all raw. Also prices mentioned on the website are not the updated once, So check before you order.

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant during our time visiting Niagara Falls. The lady was so nice recommending different foods. I ended up eating goat curry and my boyfriend had lamb. We also had lentil soup. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. We also love spicy food but they recommended medium spicy and it was hot so be careful with that !!! We also had mango smoothies and they were so refreshing. This small atmosphere made us feel like we were in their home. The owners were kind and it really left a great impression! You must go here if you have time!

This place was our best find while we was at Niagara Falls. The service was great the food was so awesome and the portions were huge. For the three of us our bill was under $100 and we ordered 3 dinners, 2 apps, and the total was with leaving them a very nice tip. If your ever in the area you need to stop here and try the great food this lady can make.

After a long tiring/fun full day at Niagara Falls with my family, we headed to fulfill our dinner hunger to an Indian restaurant. Don’t wanted to drive far so headed to Indian Kitchen King. Ordered for Tandoori Chicken 🐔, Goat curry & Chicken Seekh Kebab with Garlic naan. They had buffet for evening too and A la carte option as well. They have enough sitting option and looks like the house has been converted to hotel. Everything came well done with good quantity. Tandoori Chicken came little hard but Goat Curry masala and naan was awesome finger licking good. Chicken Seekh Kebab also was ok. Overall everything was good and finished. Definitely looking for Indian food you can give it a shot.

Visited the falls 3 years ago with my ex who was a vegetarian , my first time trying Indian cuisine was very good. Returned and when I ran across the restaurant wanted to see if it was a one off. Can’t say that it was the food is incredible! A must try if you’re in the area, excellent food, huge portions, good value and wonderful people. Wish I had a restaurant this good back home in Philly. It’s a mom and pop restaurant that I give an A+ rating. Sorry for the pictures took them after I started eating had chicken biryani, chili chicken and garlic naam. Would definitely recommend

My husband and I were with another couple on vacation to see the falls. We had an excellent experience at this restaurant. Excellent service. Friendly, kind staff and cook. Clean restaurant. Delicious food. I asked for something off the menu and they were happy to accommodate me. We plan on returning to this restaurant the next time we visit the area.

The worst Indian food we have ever had in our life, went today afternoon assuming to get fresh Indian food, we ordered 4 items (chicken biryani, lamb biryani, Raita and Kulfi) we also wanted to order appetizers but at that moment they didn’t had ( which we completely understand since they open the kitchen after three days). While they prepared our order, I quickly finished my pistachio kulfi which was awsum. After they served us chicken and lamb biryani. We ate lamb biryani which was ok to us which was not fresh but at least good taste and flavor, then we asked for raita which was old and very fermented and had acidic smell and taste with lot of bubbles on the top. We quickly returned the raita and continued finishing lamb biryani. After having lamb biryani we started eating chicken biryani and after just taking 1st bite it smelled and tasted off to us. Upon asking the owner she refused and said she made it fresh which wasn’t true , very rude and disrespectful lady owner. I will never suggest anyone this restaurant ever. They are spoiling name of Indian food by playing with health of people.

Worst Indian food experience in the USA. Would rate a 0 or less if I could. Please read the negative reviews before choosing this place. The service is the worst. We ordered medium spice level and the food we got was very very spicy. When I mentioned this to the employee, she just didn't care. I asked for the owner and after 10 minutes a lady comes and uses rude attitude and says this is how it will be. No one cared that we were unable to eat the food. Very poor service, food, ambience. AVOID at all costs.

When we first pulled up to this restaurant we thought, “hole in the wall” and it is, but like all mom and pop type restaurants the food was delicious and the service was just as good. There was only one lady working but we received our food and drinks fast. You can hear her running around in the kitchen making your food. We tried out the chai tea, samosa chaat, garlic naan and lamb rogan josh, all of which we recommend you try this place tasted delicious.

Wasn’t going to leave a review but ordering the second time led me. The day before Christmas, we ordered a take out and, out of all items, raita and mango lassi had to be disposed. Both had a taste of a spoiled milk. Food poisoning is not something we were looking for during our travel. We didn’t go back since we already arrived at the hotel and didn’t want to bother. Goat curry was ok. The day of Christmas, we gave them another chance by ordering only curries and bread. When we ordered the day before, we asked the woman behind the register, who took the order and was also cooking the food, if curries come with rice and she said Yes. The second time we ordered, we assumed that nothing has changed, but when we got the order, no rice was included at all. My partner went back and they gave him only one rice telling him that they can give only one rice, regardless of how many curries you order. If you want more rice, pay for it. We waited for this food for over an hour and no one has told anything when we were placing the order. And what a nonsense. If you order 10 curries, be aware that you may have to share one rice between 10 people. The woman was extremely argumentative and rude, yelling from far, that we need to pay for more rice if we want more. The guy, who I assumed was her son eventually gave the second rice to us, but the behavior of the woman was unacceptable. It was the day of Christmas on top of that! What an unpleasant experience. Another thing, if you use a Groupon, she seams not happy to accept it and sounds like cursing you out in her language. Watch for another argumentative reply here, instead of apology. Customer service not even a star.

Food was delicious. Fast service too. We had Goat biryani, Chicken biryani, Paneer Tikka masala, Chicken Tikka masala, mango lassi, Garlic naan. Kousar ( don't know if that's how the name's spelled) was polite and quick. Chef directly takes the order and recommended best dishes. Definitely recommend this one.

I have not eaten any Indian food as good as this place in USA, I’ve eaten at multiple places in NYC and nothing beats this place. The ambience is very desi it’ll feel as if you are sitting in a typical local restaurant in India. Food is very good, a little oily yes, but the best tasty Indian food is always the unhealthiest. I wish them success.

I have only picked up and ordered on doordash but they are by far the best Indian around here. I compare to my friends cooking and she’s so hard to compete with but I’ve tried the chicken curry and butter chicken and garlic naan so far and omg we just keep coming back next will be the tandoori chicken you can tell they marinate their meat the way it should be thank you for keeping it authentic it’s so amazing spicy not weak so flavorful chicken is so tender and juicy

Initially we got two menus that had white stickers on them. One was completely empty and the other with new prices written on them. since we had read previous reviews in regards to price changes we thought those were the new prices but come check out time and nope. What we thought would cost us $35 (with 10% dine in service fee) ended up costing us $46 for a lamb biryani and a lamb sagg. So be sure to ask about the price before hand. ALSO there is a 10% dine- in fee. Additionally we found a strand of hair in our food (lamb biryani) which we didn’t really got bugged about because it seemed to be a family owned business and we didn’t really care that much but their hidden fees really got us.

Wow, just wow. Amazing food. As soon as you walk in you're hit with the aroma of all the spices and seasonings they use in their dishes. Everything was hot and fresh. Their hot tea was like a comforting hug in a cup. Their decor is so pretty too. Well worth the money for the dine in experience!

If you are Indian, look Indian, and speak Indian, then this place is for you. Otherwise stay away. The food is okay, although overpriced. Both of the staff members seemed very rude. Tried ignoring us on multiple occasions. And when we asked to dine in, they charged us the dine in fee, then they gave us takeout (not very subtle.) Very clear that we weren't welcome, even though we were being polite. For a restaurant so righteous, it's pretty embarrassing to have dirt all over your floor and flies buzzing around. Unless I'm unaware of a large Indian population in upstate New York, it seems pretty foolish to set up a restaurant here, and only want to serve Indians. You know where you can serve exclusively Indians? India. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid.

I absolutely LOVE this place! I come about once a week and the food is authentic and delicious. Reminds me of my mothers cooking! Portions are generous and prices are fair! Never once had a bad experience here. Highly recommend.

The food was delicious and when I say delicious I really mean it. We randomly found this on a very hungry afternoon on our first trip to Niagara back in late October 2020. Unfortunately I don’t have pictures to prove that but we ordered butter chicken, dal and naan. The food was piping hot and really flavorful. Just perfect to feed hungry customers in the cold. In my personal opinion, don’t go by the ones saying the owner was rude or not polite. In fact, they were very welcoming and friendly. The place is small and cozy, but the food is promising. My friends and I visited a DIFFERENT indian restaurant in Niagara later that night for dinner and ended up paying a lot only to be disappointed with the quality of food so we came back to this place the next morning for an early lunch. Back then the owner aunty was making everything all alone so we were patient and she did prepare all the dishes we ordered (we were about 7, so imagine feeding 7 hungry ppl) and was simply delicious. Planning to visit Niagara again later this year and I’m surely going back to this place.

Went here yesterday because the reviews seemed good. Love Indian food. Smelled amazing inside, the staff had really bad customer service but we even looked past that! Spent over $40 on food and it made us so sick. I’m talking bad. Some of the chicken was tender and some was so hard and chewy. Never again. 🤢🤢

I went here in 2021, the owner was so humble. the food was awesome, unfortunately, if I ate too much I need a lot of restrooms, our journey was 8 hours more to New Jersey. I wish I could eat more there. The Naan and fruit salad are the best. I will definitely come back if I visit Niagara again.

During our recent visit to Niagara Falls, we decided to have Indian food for lunch. I googled this place, and it had some nice photos. The store smelled terrible and had limited food choices. Perhaps they should have expected visitors during the offseason. Well, we are disappointed with Indian Kitchen King for a few reasons. Sorry, we are unable to recommend Indian Kitchen King.

We decided to order dinner one night from Grub Hub and settled on Indian food. I love it. Food arrived probably an hour and a half late, and it was stone cold. I watched the driver on the app cart around the city the entire time, but nowhere in the app did it say that they were handling multiple deliveries. We try a different restaurant on Grub Hub a week later. The order was incorrect, and also late. I go to look up the restaurant and I see it it has the same address as here. This place is running 8 different storefronts on grub hub alone (who knows I didn't check the other apps, there could be more!). Very disorganized operation going on there. It might be better in person, but in my experiences. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Not making that mistake any more.

I am still waiting for Pakora’s after 1.5 hrs. Now he is telling me they don’t have pakora unless I want Kadi pakoda🤣🤣. Funny and stupid family staff. Nobody knows what they have or want. Come if you have unlimited time and flexibility to eat whatever they bring after super long wait. I put the tea pic to show how we wasted our tea in wait of Pakora.

Hands down, THE BEST!! The people are the sweetest, the service provided is unmatched and so is the food. If I would live in the area this restaurant would be my go to, at least once a week!!
