UPDATE Day 2: Well we woke up this morning and we were attempting to make the bed. To our disgust we found BED BUGS. We captured 2 live ones in a cup and we sealed them in a plastic bag to bring down to the front desk. Blake was still at the front desk. He didn’t seem surprised at all when I showed him the bugs. I asked to speak to the manager and was told she was not in. I said then he better call her. Reluctantly he did. The manager did not want to speak to me. She just told him to give us our money back. I did warn the guests in the area to check their beds carefully so as not to take them home. When I warned the other guests he told me to leave the property or he would call the police. No customer service what so ever. No apology. This is a good example of what cutting back on house keeping will do. Had the room been cleaned properly before we checked in, they would have caught this!!! Any guest staying there, please beware. I am going to attempt to update this review with the actual pictures taken this morning. I am sick to my stomach. In addition the inside of the drawer was filthy never cleaned (we never used it thank god) we only opened it in the morning. And the bathroom sink wouldn’t drain. And we were supposed to live with that for our 3 night stay (which by the way BW has a multi night promotion at the moment). We are comfortable settled now in a very clean hotel down the road!! Original Review - Day 1. I am a diamond member who has exclusively stayed at the Best Western Summit Inn for more than 10 years. Prior to this visit we have always received a warm welcome a lot of the time even remembered at reception. We couldn’t wait to return to our favourite place once the Covid restrictions lifted. Our first visit was late April early May. We stayed for 3 nights. There is a sign that says no house keeping however when we enquired about fresh towels we were told that as long as we don’t mind a house keeper entering our room they would come in with fresh towels and make the bed. We agreed and our 3 day stay was good. We are back now for an additional 3 day stay (Sunday to Wednesday) so off peak days same as before. We are paying just short of $400 US for this visit. When I asked for the same service again it was refused as they were only doing it for construction workers. I told both Blake and Kali at reception that I am a longtime customer and a diamond reward member. Kali wanted to help us an allow the bed to be made and the delivery of fresh towels each day. She told Blake we were here for 3 nights. I asked how he would feel sleeping in an unmade bed for 3 days. He says he does this every night. Of course we could make our bed but we are paying $300+ US for the privilege of doing so. This also includes no garbage pick up, no surface cleaning and nothing to clean with. I asked to speak to the manager and was told none were available. Kali wanted to call someone but Blake wouldn’t let her do that. I can tell you Best Western just lost this diamond member. So beware should you choose to stay here !! I guess the moral of the story is I should have booked 3 separate nights. I would then be assured of a clean room each night. Foolishly I booked a 3 night stay!

We loved our room, we had three beds for myself, husband and two teenage boys. the pool temperature really could've been higher so we could've enjoyed it more. Breakfast was good. The girl at check-in was very nice. Location is great and next to bowling alley, which we took advantage of.

Firstly, we have stayed in many Best Westerns and usually love them. On a good note, the staff at the Summit Inn are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the bed is fairly comfortable. Unfortunately, our room looked out over the pool where kids yelled and screamed and played from 0700 to 2200 hours EVERY DAY!. There was no break. On the weekend we were there, the laundry facilities weren’t working (which I desperately needed because my husband was biking across the country and I did laundry on the weekend). There was no hot water on Monday morning so we woke up to cold showers, and very rude guests had hoarded the only two carts in their rooms overnight so there were no carts to bring bags down. I know that the water and laundry issue wasn’t anyone’s fault, and the staff have no control over rude and ignorant guests. However, it did all play together for a rather unpleasant weekend, and certainly not what we have come to expect from Best Western; especially at $200/night. We should have stayed at the $90/night motor lodge. At least you get what you pay for.

I don't know where to begin. One the hotel staff are lazy they refuse to stand to greet you , the agents at the desk sat the entire time checking us in. Got to the room found what appeared to be a blood stained pillow. Went to use the restroom the toilet handle was broken, and the toilet it self was dirty. Prior to booking this reservation I asked if they offer transport to the falls "this was a deciding factor for my reservation" the agents lied said that the Hotel offered transport. Infact they do not, truth is they give you a bus pass to city transport which is at best free but completely unreliable. We were stuck in the middle of a torrential down poor during our trip. When asked to.speak to a manager we were told three separate times in one day that there is no manager available, again with the lies. Breakfast bar is free, and unsavory same old stale eggs and undercooked sausage, and expired yogurt. Way to step it up best western won't be back, I wouldn't allow my ex inlaws to stay I this dump.

Quite surprised with room and the service of the staff. I have stayed at better known hotels that cost far more with far less to offer than this place. Would definitely recommend. They can however improve their breakfast, but considering Covid can't complain.

Room was horrible, decor looked like you were in the back rooms, mysterious stains everywhere and particles in the blankets/ sheets very well could be beg bugs as the other reviews mentioned. Room was so unbearably musty and smelly we had to leave. Woman at the front desk said the room was non refundable and would not refund us, rudely remarked that we “should have cancelled yesterday” as if we could have known the conditions of the place before hand.

Room was a little small but perfect for a clean and comfortable place to sleep after a day of site seeing. Employees were all very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our free breakfast. Probably not where I would stay if I wanted to hang in the room or enjoy the pool but great for our needs this trip. Also if you like chicken wings, great place across the street. Easy walk. Definitely a plus. Would return for sure.

The property/ room was dirty . To begin with the outside of our room door was dirty. Unfortunately, it seemed like a blood stain right in front of the door that was never wiped off. Inside the room the bathroom had hand print stains that were never wiped off….. out of curiosity I wiped it off and stain came right off. Next a hair strand was hanging off a folded towel, very disgusting. Luckily I brought my Lysol and sanitized the whole room. The bedroom was dirty and had potato chip crumbs under the bed which made it seem like they never vacuumed the place. Oh the breakfast sucks too, microwaveable pork sandwiches and only one choice of muffin, chocolate… Upon arriving the receptionist wasn’t polite. All she did was ask for my name and proceeded by telling me to sign something on pad. Which I didn’t even know what I was signing. Next, no information was provided about how they provide free cards for people to get around the city. It was like literally signing into a wall. I found out the information thanks to a kind bus driver who informed me that the hotels are suppose to provide you with a card that you can use to get on a buses for free. Overall I’m very disappointed for the amount of money they charge for a dirty room and poor customer service.

The rooms are nice and the breakfast was good and clean. The pool is nice the fitness room could have a few newer resistance machines in it however all in all the facilities are satisfactory for the price. The front desk staff however leave something to be desired. I went and politely asked for a 1 hour extended checkout time and the immediate gruff and rude response was a NO. After asking why since it is a midweek request and obviously the hotel is not full she then reluctantly said I'd have to talk to the manager but he's not on site now. All in a tone that was rude as if I was disturbing her. Keep in mind there was no one around me, no one waiting.

Older hotel but had been remodeled and was very clean. Rooms are smaller and do not offer much storage. The beds were comfortable. Free, hot breakfast included with a good selection of options. My family really enjoyed making their own waffles. We also enjoyed evenings in the pool. I feel it was overall a good value with about a 10-15 minute drive to the park. We would consider this an option if staying again.

Cleanliness: 4/5 because the lampshade had a dirty stain on it (looked like coffee and washable) The sheets, windows, and bathroom were very clean in the room. The area for the breakfast/coffee/juice and entryway/lobby we're all well-kept and clean throughout our stay. The pool was clean and organized (it had a strong chlorine smell) Service: 5/5!! It was great! All workers we had contact with were working hard and were cordial and helpful. We needed to speak to the woman in the lobby for towels, a woman in the breakfast area for more milk, and a man that was cleaning rooms to ask about something and all were happy to promptly help. The reason I did not give 5/5 was that the air conditioning did not stay on and the toilet was wobbly and low. Also the dirty stain on the lampshade (it is in room 210!) Ps: the location is great, there are restaurants and a huge mall 5 minutes away and a bowling alley right next door. The falls are 15 minutes away. Great experience, thank you!!!

We stayed with friends during our Niagara falls trip. I was able to get a good night sleep because the beds and pillows were extremely comfy. The check in process was fast and the staff deserves A+ for customer service. Definitely recommend. We will be back. Thank you

The hotel is clean and well taken care of. The pool was clean and nice and open. I love the room that overlooks the pool, so cool. The beds were fresh and so inviting. The tub in our hotel room seemed to be leaking though. We forgot to tell the hotel staff about that though :( sorry about that. The breakfast that is served by the hotel was full, hot, and delicious. Waffle makers going and the eggs were the best continental hotel buffet eggs I've ever had.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel! The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, with neat and comfortable furnishings. The bathrooms were spotless, and fresh towels were provided. The staff members were incredibly professional and friendly, providing excellent customer service throughout my stay. I would like to commend the lady who handled my booking over the phone for her efficiency and promptness. Furthermore, the hotel staff went above and beyond when we realized we had misplaced our watch after checking out. They displayed genuine concern and promptly helped me get in touch with the manager, who assisted us in searching for it. He thoroughly checked the room and promptly contacted me within a day to inform that the watch was not found. This helped us focus our search elsewhere, and we eventually found the watch in another location. I am truly grateful for the wonderful and considerate service provided by the hotel staff. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a pleasant and hassle-free stay.

Unprofessional negligent service. Like please don’t even waste your money staying here. The receptionist doesn’t care about anything you say, its like he’s just a robot telling you things he memorized, either you understand it or not. We got back to our hotel room after spending all day at niagra unable to unlock to enter our room’s, because HE the receptionist that checked us in thought that we had left, so he decided to change the keys. We were locked out of our room with our belongings inside trying to get in ! Our stay was for two nights 3 days it was the 2nd night ! WTH. After giving us the key My brother asked him if we can check out tomorrow at 12 he said only till 11:30 he cant consider 30 min. We asked if we can go to the pool and stay a little bit because it was 9:45 pool closes at 10 he said he cant do anything about that either, and that it’s the state law here that the pool will automatically shut down at 10 pm. It was our last night here in Niagra falls. Also note the rooms only have lamps no ceiling lights,no comforter only bedsheets and a thin throw blanket barely any hot water. Gym was freezing cold. Tbh The only thing that was good were DIY waffles for breakfast. Never had an unpleasant experience like this in any hotel. Zero hospitality, just rude, careless overall worst service ever experienced.

Clean and cheap. Fitness center is terrible. Machines are ancient. Breakfast is good! Employees are great. Double room is a little tight for 4. Not much close for food.

This was a fantastic hotel. The exterior looks extremely nice, it does not last some of the pictures that are currently listed. The parking lot is decent. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. They let us check in earlier as one of my passengers was not feeling really well. The breakfast was decent. The worst part about the hotel is its area and location.

Hotel and rooms very clean. Front desk staff very nice personable and helpful. Cleaning staff helpful and polite. Pool was perfect for my 5 year old and nice and warm! Outlets in room didn't work so left using the ones on the lamp. All in all a great stay we will be back to this hotel again soon!

Pretty good 2 star hotel. They have a temperature controlled pool, gym, business center and free breakfast! Ample parking. The guest services were pretty helpful. Major con is that they didn’t have house keeping and no room service. Had a pretty good stay overall.

An older, recently renovated hotel close to the Niagara Airport and to the Outlet Mall, Target, Walmart etc. Rooms are nice and clean is a bit small. Bed was a very comfortable king. Room had a couch and desk with chair as well. The a/c worked well. The hotel has a nice pool and a fitness centre which we didn’t use. Breakfast was excellent with both hot and cold selections. Staff were courteous and friendly. A great place for a family overnight.

We stayed 6 nights here. The rooms are very clean as a matter of fact the entire facility is clean. ALL of the staff was very kind, courteous, and very accommodating. They serve a good breakfast with a large clean dining area. The dining staff do a great job keeping the food fresh and hot. Would definitely stay again.

We expected to reach there around midnight but we arrived at 5 A.M after a 5 hour delay as there was a fire accident on the highway just before reaching the hotel. Technically we were supposed to check in the previous day. But the lady at reception was very nice and offered us a free extra day stay as we had prepaid while booking. The location is very convenient, just 15 minutes from Niagara falls state park. The rooms were spacious and clean. Had a nice stay!

The room was ADA accessible but House keeping never came to clean, even after a request was made at the front desk. Children was allowed to run and play in the hallways until wee hours of the morning. Never got much sleep. I told front desk 3x, Still children was allowed to run and play. My wife and I are senior citizen's, My wife is Handicap and we got very little sleep. The breakfast was the only good part of our stay. As a member we should have received good service. Don't except us to ever be back to this Best western.

First time staying at BW Summit, and it was great! The front desk staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. The rooms are standard (pretty much what you find in other hotels). The salt water pool is nice and warm. Overall highly recommended!

Excellent service, super clean rooms, and well stocked bathrooms awaited us after we reached here via 6 hour drive. Hallways and dining room can use a good cleaning but all rooms are super clean and freshly updated. The staff was a pleasure to work with. Also they leave breafast area open so you can get milk, Juice, coffee all day long which is unusual for hotels so if you are out of juice or milk for a toddler at 10 PM then you are in luck.

ZERO STARS IF THERE WAS AN OPTION. The night manager “Flow” was extremely rude to us. Along with another employee not sure of her name. They came yelling at us in the lounge area at night. As a matter a fact she was extremely aggressive. I mean the service was horrible, this is besides the fact that they have their schedules all over the place and room service unlocked the door amd walked in while we were getting dressed! She didnt even knock on the door. When this was reported to the office theu got angry and said a “customer” did that and NOT their employees. Which they had a key and a cleaning cart with them so it WAS NOT a customer. Long story short i mean this was a horrible experience. I also beleive we were racially discriminated againts. Because they were angry at us for no apparent reason to start with. There was one employee that was extremely nice and great to us, so thank you to her.

I don't know how this hotel has such a good rating my wife and I stayed here on a recent trip to the falls as soon as we walked in we noticed a strange smell in the room didn't think nothing of it at first we thought it was because it was stuffy because the air was off. we got up on Saturday and I noticed a roach crawling up the wall went into the bathroom and there was mold on the ceiling went down a complain to the desk and the man there came down and at least cleaned the ceiling didn't offer anything for the inconveniences they didn't even say they was sorry .needless to say I will never stay the again and definitely will NOT recommend this hotel

We have stayed at this Best Western many times before flying out the next morning and have always enjoyed it there. I have to say the staff are polite, rooms are clean…however they put us in a room that overlooked the pool. Why? Perhaps it’s good practice to mention when checking in as we had screaming kids from 8am to 10pm. I’m sure a family with kids who wanted to use the pool would have been okay there but I think it’s really something that should be mentioned. Didn’t make for an enjoyable sleep. Also nothing to plug the tub, had to stuff a towel to bathe, and no kleenex to be found. As well during these times of Covid where it says everyone to wear masks…staff need to enforce this as people walk around the breakfast area without one on. “Masks required” should in fact mean masks on! 😡

A great place to stay. The front desk personnel were friendly and efficient. The young gentleman that checked us in was very personable. The room, a standard king, was spacious and comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel while visiting Niagara Falls.

It was ok. I was a little disappointed that I wasn't able to soak in the tub after my long trip up to Niagara. The tub was really slow to drain and It was not built with a stopper. Children were running up and down the hallway banging on doors in the night so it was hard to get good rest. It was pretty clean and the staff was nice and helpful. The rooms are really small.

Had to walk thru a snowstorm at 9pm to this location from the Niagara Airport. Staff was super helpful and even opened the breakfast bar for me so I could eat something. Breakfast buffet had plenty of choices and though I did not use it, there was an indoor heated pool.

Not sure why there are bad reviews. Place was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was served and was descent. Place is a ways away from falls but they gave us passes for the trolley that takes you right down by the falls for free. Trolley runs daily from mid june to September only weekends other parts of year. Pool is also large and nice.

They gave us keys to a room that was already rented and we were trying to get in and the other guest was infuriated at us and probably scared thank god we didnt get in!! Who knows how this could have ended????we had to go back downstairs other guests were already calling the front desk of course the guy had no idea how this could have happened?? Said Employee who sold the room was new and did something wrong whatever this could have turned out extremely different than he puts us in a room and says it was an upgrade And would give a discount ...never did but the room was only 3 doors down the toilets bolts were loose and when you sat down you fell like you're gonna fall off and there was black mold in the shower I talked to the manager who got The owner who was there and gave me a $25 discount wow not good enough don't stay ther safety issues big time place is huge and saw no security!!!

I have zero real complaints. Other than the air was not on when we arrived so the rooms were hot. And they took a minute to get comfortable. Their rooms were clean. Their pool was awesome. I wish they had tubs, but their shower was hot & clean. The bed were comfortable. Their breakfast was not the best. They served them fake eggs & sausage every morning that we were their. But they had batter to make waffles, bananas, cereol, yogurt etc. & check in was easy.

First and foremost, this best western is in a VERY sketchy location. Extremely dark at night with little to no street lights at all and almost abandoned. One night I got back late around 2 AM and nobody was at the front desk, but there’s no security to enter the front of the hotel. No mandatory key swipe. Anyone can walk it at any given time. There were stains on some of the furniture in our hotel room with god knows what. The hotel smelled like urine. I did not go into the pool but it seemed OK at best from what it looked like. The fitness center is a complete joke with no dumbells and ever machine is broken or unusable. Breakfast consisted of powdered eggs, mediocore sausages and belgian waffles with some cereal, coffee, juice, yogurt, and bread/tiny muffins. It was very dull and depressing. The hotel gave me a sense of fear, and was well overpriced for the living situation. It is a very desolate area surrounded by mom and pop motels with no lights. I would never be out in that area after dark EVER again. You could not pay me enough. I thankfully didn’t see bed bugs but reading other reviews I would not be surprised. There is no housekeeping and stains. I will never stay here again my advice is to stay at a hilton nearby of some sort. The extra money is worth it to stay literally anywhere else. Very horrifying experience.

Appalling communication. Messaged ahead to add a night to our booking. No response. Messaged ahead about parking. No response. Requested the bookings be joined up on arrival so we didn't have to move rooms. Promised we wouldn't have to, asked to move the following morning. Wrote an email detailing this complaint. No response. Rooms were OK. Location was OK. Breakfast wasn't good.
