Worst Italian food I've ever had. It all tasted straight out of the freezer and microwave warm. Even the bread was stale. The waitstaff was as nice as could be, which makes you feel even worse that the food was so awful. Definitely not worth the cost.

We got a tour guide tip to eat at Como Restaurant. However, we arrived there for dinner on a Monday evening & they were closed. We were ready to find another place but a gentleman walked out to greet us & told us to walk next door to their deli. He escorted us in and introduced us to his brother and friend. We ordered their lasagna dinner and sat down. The portions were huge and meatballs & sauce were so delicious. Their cookies were yummy too! We met other family members--felt so welcoming. Other customers were friendly & could see they were regulars. We couldn't of asked for a better dining experience!

Our group of 3 adults and 2 kids enjoyed Como. We received a warm welcome from one of the owners as we arrived (his photo was on the wall). The waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was great and the servings were big, even for us Texans. A great place to dine.

Came for the food...stayed for the people! The staff was so kind and even offered some soup and pastry while we waited for our to-go order. The food was, of course, delicious! Would def return.

Oh my goodness, wow. The food here is delicious and the service is amazing! We visited for the first time recently and were very impressed by the hospitality and overall experience. The fettuccini Alfredo is so creamy and decadent and the manicotti was huge. You will not leave here hungry!

Not a bad experience, but not great either. We came because or a restaurant.com voucher but the food didn't feel like it was worth the full prices. With the discount, it was worth it. The calamari appetizer was dry and tasteless. The spaghetti and meatball dish only comes with ONE small meatball! You have to order more separately at an extra cost! That is not okay.. The lobster tails were ok but tasted like they were frozen and defrosted in a microwave. The steak was a good portion but overcooked due to the fact that it was not fresh beef. The vegetable and baked potato sides were good. We were served by Dale and she did a good job, she accommodated us well and we had a nice experience because of that. She bumped my rating up to 3 stars instead of 2. Thank you for a good experience.

Fantastic!! Not only were we greeted by Mario, the exuberant bar tender! But our meals were outstanding, the service πŸ‘ Wow! I applaud them all! Not only did they go out of there way to warm up Beans and greens for me (Made a few days earlier) Exceptional from start to finish! It was my friends Birthday, and they made us all feel special! I can go on and on about the experience! Needless to say, it will be our go to every time we head to The Falls! Thanks again for a great dinner , and drinks at the bar with Mario! We love you man! πŸ₯°

Absolutely delicious and authentic food. No more than 7 minutes from downtown Niagara Falls. The calamari plate and dinner portions are huge. We took a doggie back home and had it for lunch the next day! I've been here several times in the last 15 years and the food has always been delicious. These owners are there in the restaurant and check in on you. Definitely a must visit if you go to Buffalo or Niagara Falls, NY.

I held my bridal shower at The Como Restaurant in the bright & spacious Sala di Maria room and it was literally everything I could have hoped for. Charming, bright & open space, lots of room for guests to mingle and space out, lots of room for gifts, games, dessert spread, favors, gift baskets, and even a cash bar with cocktail tables. It was perfect! The venue played light music and the service was exceptional throughout! My menu was a plated brunch menu: scrambled eggs, bacon, broiled sausage, potatoes and peppers, italian bow ties, homemade rolls & butter, dessert, orange juice, wine punch, coffee, and tea. Everyone seemed happy which made me happy! The best part was the affordability of the package! Thank you Como for making my special day absolutely perfect! (Event held May 16, 2015)

The chicken was over cooked. The tomato sauce was poured straight out of the can with no flavor and the service was horrible. The best part of the dinner was the water, the coffee and the ice cream after paying $25 for a banquet ticket. Worst restaurant I have ever been to.

My family has been coming to The Como for over 35 years. We went this weekend and were saddened at the decline of service and food. It is really upsetting, it seems as if they have given up now it is for sale. I do not know if the pandemic or neighbour changes over the years did a real dinger on this once amazing place. Upon arriving, first impressions were that the pictures on the wall behind our table were crooked. Not a huge deal, but something pretty obvious. One of the forks had food on it (it happens), but the waitress snatched it like it was our fault. She was pretty rude throughout the whole service. The food was absolutely not what it used to be either. We drive over 2 hours from Canada to come here but is it worth it anymore? This is your legacy, and I hope it improves! We will cherish the great memories we had at The Como over the years.

We dined at Como’s on our first evening in Niagara Falls. We enjoyed its old-school decor, the excellent service, the lavish portions, and its thoroughly New York atmosphere. Barb especially enjoyed the Veal Francesca, which the Italian restaurants in our part of the country never offer. Highly recommended.

Avoid Caroline, doesn't make good recommendations, and doesn't seem nice to the customers. The restaurant is elegant, a good atmosphere but we had bad luck I guess. We paid around 250 for 7 people and ordered lasagna, but after a while, she said there was no lasagna but had another choice very similar to it. It looked like a veggie dish. Not meat or chicken at all. The steak sandwich was good and the alfredo spaghetti was nice.

I'm sorry to say Easter Brunch was sad. The food was cold. The choices of fresh sliced turkey, ham,and roast beef were so dry even with gravey. The desert table was almost presented by Sam's club. You can tell they were frozen and, unfortunately, no flavor. $30 a plate is asking anyone way too much.

If you are ever in the Niagara Falls area you MUST eat here. The food is amazing and the staff are the best. We were here 9 years ago and knew if we ever came back we had to have dinner here. We were so glad to see they were still here. Third generation.

My family and I decided to go out to dinner on Thanksgiving and my aunt mentioned the Como was having a Thanksgiving dinner. I was very excited because I had not been there in a couple years but the food was very good the last time we were there. So I said my wife and I were really in the mood for some of their Italian food, so I ordered chicken alfredo and my wife ordered lasagna and my aunt went ahead and had the turkey dinner. The bread and the soup and salads were very good. When they brought out the main course the first thing I noticed was my chicken alfredo had already broke and turned very gummy, the second thing I noticed was the lasagna look like it had been in the refrigerator or freezer for a couple of days before they decided to reheat it. It had fresh meat sauce poured over the top but my wife said it was slightly cold in the middle and hard. We ordered a side of angel hair pasta for my daughter that seem to be undercooked. The turkey dinner did not look like it was doing well either. One of the older guys came over to our table and asked would we like some boxes and we told them no, about 3/4 of my wife's lasagna and my chicken alfredo was still on the plate so he seems surprised that we didn't want to take it, and asked why? After explaining what was going on he thanked me for letting him know and walked away. We asked for a check and prior to our waitress arriving with the check another gentleman came over to us saying that they removed the two dishes off of our check. It kind of ruined our evening but what can you do, we will never go back there. All right how's that sound babe my family and I decided to go out to dinner on Thanksgiving my aunt mentioned couple days before the Como was having a Thanksgiving dinner I was excited because testing won't stay down

  • 1/5 J L. 2 years ago on Google
The Thanksgiving turkey package was a huge disappointment. Bland and flavorless turkey barely even seasoned with salt and pepper, bland and flavorless stuffing that was just a blob ofwhite bread and so much fat-laden stock that it was gelatinous and inedible, mixed vegetables that were obviously from a big freezer bag and just heated up - that's it, "candied" yams which were heated up straight from a can, and bland and flavorless mashed potatoes. Even the gravy was bland and tasted like it had been thickened with corn starch. All in all, the entire meal tasted like it had been cooked for somebody on a strict diabetic diet. I had school lunches as a kid that had more flavor! So my family's dinner table ended up containing a big portion of the spice cupboard just so we could eat, and we even had to reinvent the stuffing and gravy the following day so they didn't end up in the trash. Never again, Como!

We were a group of 20. The chicken was not rotisserie it looks it was boiled and put in a wooden bowl. The bread was not fresh. Then the owner made a statement " why aren't you eating " " oh this isn't the kind of chicken you're use too huh " I was not pleased with this food at como italian in Niagara Falls. Then when I asked for a coke cola she says that our meal only comes with tea n water. I was willing to pay for a coke cola. The food was horrible

This was the best Italian. We took a 10 min lyft ride from the falls and it was worth it. You must add this on your list. It is amazing. And the service was just as good! The owner greated us and checked on us after our meal. A wonderful experience and the best food I had my entire trip.

The pasta is too too thick. I like thin lite pasta. The sauce was okay.

Very good Itallian food at reasonable prices. The kids (18 and 15) both got the Taste of Italy platter, they liked the chicken oarm and gnocchi but did not like the cheese ravioli and lasagna as much. I ordered the tripe, which was delicious, and a side of linguini with red clam sauce that was very good. My wife had the NY steak and lobster tails, the steak was excellent but the lobster was over cooked. Our desserts were all very good. We tried the cannoli, spumoni ice cream and the bow tie pastry. The was friendly and very quick. Overall it was a very good meal
