What a disgusting excuse for a medical establishment. The Doctors are tired and careless. The receptionists are gross ,rude, and not caring at all. I get better service from gas station. I understand clinics are hard to get to or whatever the reason, but trust me, go out of your way to AVOID this place. Can someone tell me how to report an establishment to the better business bureau or something because this place probably started the pandemic that's how gross it is. What kind of receptionist is this rude and still keeps their job. Unbelievable

This centre deserves -100 stars. Last weekend I was there with my three kids 14, 11, And 7 year old as they all complained about ear ache and running nose. After visiting at at least 3 clinics I was turned down by this Med Clinic as well giving me a lame excuse of suspected Covid symptoms with out any proper diagnosis. I told them how many more clinics I have to run around with my kids to avail medical attention and an argument broke up with the receptionist who was attending our visit. To my utter shock and disbelief another women who was watching our arguments popped in rudely and demanded that I leave their facility immediately or else she will call cops on me. Such rude and reckless behaviour with sheer unprofessional attitude- what a SHAME! I know I am not going back ever in my life time there and also my kids. We will warn everyone in our network to avoid this facility.

The worst place I have ever been to. I had a very bad experience at the clinic July 16th, 2022, 11am -12:30pm. The receptionist are supper rude. There was a very old man on wheal chair, he had a very slow move and had difficulties to get in to the exam room. The receiptionist just standing there at the door watching him! She even cannot wait to calling another patient! I have been waiting for more than 1h to see the doctor, so i went to ask, excuse me, could you check if i would be the next one. The other receptionist just yelling at me saying i was not on the waiting list, twice. I have never been to a place that have such arrogant and rude receptionist. I have been to your clinic once, and I love the doctor, she was professional and understand my issue quickly. however from this day, I will definitely let every international students and immigrants know that they are not welcome at the clinic. Have a nice weekend, and farewell! Hope the receptionists bring you a great, successful business!!! Please keep them and raise the 2 receptionists salaries so they can show you management that how arrogant and rude they could be.

AVOID THIS PLACE. Waited literally 2.5 hours on a Monday evening, I strongly DO NOT recommend going here. When finally in to see the doctor, she was inattentive, uncaring, and seemed unknowledgeable. To be honest I do not blame the reception staff as they are doing their job and get most of the brunt. However, they should be better trained to give more accurate time estimates (1.5 turned into 2.5 hours). This clinic is clearly terribly managed and whoever owns this establishment needs to fix it ASAP. Hire additional doctors who have more experience. No wonder all the reviews are terrible, I only went here because it was the only clinic open after 6pm, and you could not pay me to return.

I took my transgender son in for a infected ingrown toenail. Receptionist was nice the doctor on the other hand. No matter how many time I corrected him when he was referring to my son as a girl he still didn't get with the program. He was rushing the entire time I had questions asked him to refer to the other foot so he can actually see that it intact was inflamed and infect when he said it wasn't. His answer was "No, I have other patients." When we were in the room for a whole of 5 minutes. Will never go there again. I am quite disgusted at how the doctor was with us.

Went there at 1pm, told it will be an hour, maybe more wait. That’s fine, I’m patient. What I didn’t expect, was to wait 2 hours until 3pm to finally get into the doctor’s waiting room. Then after 55 minutes (3:55) of waiting for the doctor, I hear my name being called out front again at the reception area. Apparently I was forgotten about since no one put my name/paper outside the door so the doctors didn’t know I was in there? Alright, I’m told I’ll be seen next, finally this should go quick from here…Fast forward another 30 minutes (4:25) when I finally see the doctor. Of course by then I am finally seen and in/out of the clinic in 15 minutes (4:40). What a great way to spend my day off. 3 and a half hours waiting/being forgotten about for a 15 minute treatment

This Niagara Falls clinic used to be great. I have been a family practice patient for years. Maybe everything with COVID and doc shortages etc. have impacted it, but in the past 2 months I have had a number of pre-scheduled appointments with MD's cancelled last minute. The bulk of their medical staff are Physicians assistants, and I am unable to have my health issues worked through with them due to the type of medication I am receiving (they can't prescribe it), so it has to be with an MD, but they keep cancelling for "personal reasons". This most recent time I was told "there is nothing we can do" and although I remained calm and pleasant on the phone, asking questions and explaining my situation, the receptionist was incredibly aggressive and offered no alternative with that or any other doctor. I was told all medical doctors were completely booked and that they would call next week (no day stated) when they "got the doctor's schedule". Unfortunately I need a prescription assessment and refill and needed this in-person meeting with an MD for this purpose, so waiting an unknown amount of time would not be OK. Plus, I have little faith an appointment will actually come to fruition with the number of cancellations I have experienced. I am sure the receptionists are receiving the brunt of the push-back from patients due to the incessant cancellation of appointments, but taking it out on the patients who are truly just looking for answers is not OK. After this phone call, I took it on myself to call the Welland office. I explained the situation, the receptionist was pleasant and helpful, and was able to give me an appointment the next day. This is the second time in just over 2 weeks that the Welland office has been able to accommodate me when the Niagara Falls location has cancelled on me last minute.

I had my ultrasound done this past tuesday and I was told the doctor would have my results before the end of day. Tuesday night I requested a copy of it through Pocket health and received the results the following day. It is now friday and the clinic doesnt even have the decency to call me to tell me my results are there and that I need to go back to discuss/follow up. Had I not requested the results myself I would have had no clue that I am carrying a DEAD fetus inside me. I have tried calling several times and they do not answer their phones!!!! THIS IS BEYOND DISGUSTING!!!! Update Never ended up getting a call regarding my results. I sent an email with no response. Had to go to another walk in to explain what happened and was given the care/treatment I needed. I will be filing a report with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. I suggest anyone that has received poor or in my case lack of treatment to report Dr Anderson Lai so he doesnt have the opportunity to harm anyone in the future. He should not be practicing.

I wish I could give no stars. I moved to Niagara during the pandemic and it is extremely hard to find a family doctor here. I went in for a walk-in appointment for neurology issues, as my family doctor is a 2 hour drive away. I waited 4 hours to see a physician assistant, not even a doctor. They do not let you know there is not a doctor in. I saw Umar and all he did was check my blood pressure and left me in the examination room. The receptionist had to come and tell me the appointment was over…. Had I known there was no doctor I would’ve went elsewhere instead of waiting 3 hours to find out nothing. Will not be going back.

If I could put 0 stars I would. Place is absolutely brutal, had an appointment for 11:30 booked. That I had made weeks ago, I was than called a few days before because they had to reschedule my appointment. I than arrived and was told I would not wait, seeing as I have a appointment booked. first 30 minutes went by and I went to the counter and the girl had told me just a couple more minutes, we’ll that couple minutes turned to another 45 minutes. 12:45 just being put into a room to just sit there in a room for another 30 minutes currently without anyone coming to the room so far. I can hear them calling for people to go sit in more rooms but doctors don’t go around helping anyone it seems, if you have an appointment booked with a specific doctor, shouldn’t the appointment be for the time that it was booked? Not 2 hours after the time? Because that’s what it’s getting to now, I’m at a loss for words at how this establishment is run, you can scroll down the list of reviews and won’t find one decent experience here. Shame on these people

I've already visited this clinic several times and I can say with accuracy that there are some of the best doctors from all the walk in clinics that I have ever visited. My family and I have been examined by Dr.Ahmed. Excellent doctor! He is very attentive, experienced and professional. Dr.Nirmit, whom I saw for the first time yesterday, was also very attentive and professional. In his actions, one could feel and see a sincere desire to help. He approached my problem with patience and knowledge. We need more doctors like this.I am very thankful! 5 stars for the whole team including the receptionists.

This is a really terrible clinic! I called ahead of time to find out if they were busy. They said waiting time was about 45 mins. Took my son there, after registering him she said the wait time was about an hour. I have been waiting for 2 hours to see a doctor. I spoke to two of the staff members, the first one told me my son was next. 40 minutes later I spoke to another one and she told me there are two people ahead of him. All I can say is do not go there there are very rude and unprofessional with no customer services skills at all. This is my very first and last visit there!!!!

I’ve been going to this clinic for the past 3 years now and I have always felt welcomed by Kelly and Valerie at the front desk. The past few visits were a nightmare as the new receptionist Dharma is rude to the point that we are thinking of changing our clinic. She’s not helpful at all and unprofessional. If the clinic doesn’t give her some kind of feedback, they are going to lose patients. I can assure you I’m not the only one she has made feel unwelcome. A couple of my friends feel the same about her. She’s the only reason I’m giving 1 star.

I'm from out of town, and I had to bring my daughter in because she was coughing like crazy all night long and couldn't sleep. She was afraid of the doctor and puked in his office. However. Dr. Ahmed did a great job with his diagnoses and wasn't disgusted at all at what happened. He was very calm and friendly. We called ahead of time didn't have to wait much since we were there early. I really appreciate the care.

I have been to this clinic a couple times as soon as they open and the wait time is negligible. Both times I was seen by the PA Ahmad who was fantastic, caring, thorough and extremely accurate with diagnosis and treatment. The pharmacists are also amazing and go above and beyond to help out. Not sure why this clinic has such bad reviews, I go to a clinic to get great medical assistance not a warm treatment (I have family and friends for that). I guess the receptionists can be cold, but again that’s not what I am there for. Hope this helps inform your decision 😁

I went here at 10:30 they said it would be 1 hour wait.. I asked when they would be taking me in at 11:30 they still said an hour. They took me in at 12:30. The secretaries are rude. They talk to you in a raised voice and in a rude manner. Some doctors are very nice, understanding and help you a lot. Others don’t care about your complaints. Don’t help you at all especially with understanding what your problem is. They ignore your problems I had to repeat myself over and over again because he didn’t help and was ignorant. For the wait time the least you can do is help us.

The office will not see a toddler or infant if they have a cough... what is the point in a walk in clinic if you won't see the patients in need to see a doctor? Especially when they can't get in to see their family doctor that day? They stated to me oh well we can have the doctor call you. How is that going to help to see if my infant has pneumonia? You can't hear the way they breath over the phone. Absolutely ridiculous. I wont be back again.

Very bad experience from the front desk .not only the first time, this is the third time I’m facing the same experience. They don’t know how to behave properly to the patients. As a pregnant women I seek some consideration. But I couldn’t consult the doctor today. They were not interested to give the appointment because they are not sure the guard me will claim the fee. Also I felt that, they are not interested to hear me. I won’t prefer this clinic anymore.

What a disaster! This place is run by PAs so you never see the same person twice and they all think they know more than the last PA so they are changing your medication constantly. The reception staff are irritable and rude. They’ve messed up my appointment multiple times where I have shown up and the doctor I needed to see was not even there. But then if you miss an appointment they want to charge you $175… for mediocre service. Ahmed is the the diamond in the rough. He seems very knowledgable and competent.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. Great experience. I was lucky the place wasn't too busy. Only waited 3 minutes to get a room then 3 minutes for a doctor to come in. The 2 Docs were thorough and professional. They spent time with me and quickly diagnosed my problem and were quick to act. Thanks to front office and Doctor Lye and his assistant. J. GOOGLE DOCTOR , I recently visited this clinic with my little brother and unfortunately, we had a less than satisfactory experience. After enduring a lengthy wait time, we were not impressed with the medical attention provided. It appeared that the doctor was relying heavily on internet resources for diagnosis and treatment advice, rather than utilizing their professional knowledge and experience. This was disconcerting, especially considering that we had previously visited this clinic for separate health concerns and encountered similar issues with the same doctor. Furthermore, there were some issues with communication. We found the doctor's demeanor to be less than courteous, which was disappointing. Additionally, the doctor struggled with basic computer tasks such as generating a referral, which added to our frustration. It's crucial to have trust in our healthcare providers. Therefore, we would appreciate if the clinic could take steps to ensure that the doctors are appropriately trained, both in terms of their medical expertise and their interpersonal skills. This would go a long way in making patients feel more comfortable and confident in their care.

We appreciate the outstanding care we have received since our Family Doctor retired. Every concern has been handled with kindness and efficiency and when referrals to specialists are required we have been booked in a timely manner. Sarah is extremely compassionate and always takes the time to listen to all concerns and discuss all issues in a thorough and professional manner, never making you feel rushed or confused with curt responses or overly technical explanations. Wait times are always clearly disclosed, and no longer than experienced at any walk-in clinic, or even a Doctor’s Office, for that matter. We highly recommend the MedCare Clinic for anyone seeking straightforward answers and experienced caregivers for health concerns.

Not having access to a regular Family Dr. This Clinc their Front line staff, Nurses & Drs have been incredible towards me. Yes in fact sometimes there is a wait, However don’t you usually have a wait at your Drs office, or Specialist or Hospital 9/10 yes! You have a wait! But the wait is worth it, The Staff & Drs are kind, compassionate & understanding. Thank you Medicare for all you’s do for our community.

My experience here has been far better than I ever expected from a walk-in clinic. I suddenly found myself without a family doctor. The treatment I have received here has been as good, if not better than the family practice I attended previously. Fast referrals to specialists and genuine interest in my overall heath and wellbeing. The wait time is typically about an hour… no different than an overworked GP. Reception is kind, patient and attentive. (In my search for a family doctor I have experienced borderline aggression, disinterest and rude behaviour from receptionists at several family doctors offices) My panic about not having a GP has subsided… I feel safe and assured that my health care needs will be attended to in a caring, attentive, professional and timely manner.

I don't recommend this walk-in clinic. It has closed to patients 2.5 hours before stated closing time and not posted that information online. The clinic should change its status to CLOSED if too busy. I had to travel across town and transfer a very elderly, disabled, sick mother to the desk to find out. The receptionist was insolent and unprofessional sarcasticallywishing me Merry Christmas. l rated it as 1 but that's too kind. There is no acceptable excuse for this.

No comments about this hospital and other staff!here to mention about the One and Only women who is the best doctor in canada till now! Thank you Dr. Sarah (clinical assistant for Dr. Singh). She bought the trust back that not all doctors are the same, some are like her! the most understanding and decent person ever! if you go to her, you are not coming back home as a hopeless person. Canada really needs more doctors like her, so that people don’t miss the care and support they got in their back home through the doctors. Please stay here forever❤️ people for sure need a doctor like you. Last but not the least she is beautiful inside and out.

All the doctors are always kind to us. Yes there is a wait, but, even if you go to another clinic you need to wait, so I have no problem with that. There is one doctor that I love meeting. Doctor Sarah. She is nice and kind, and very respectful. It is very easy speaking to her because I have a language barrier. She speaks Hindi/Urdu and English. I would recommend her to people who have trouble speaking English.

I happily write a review for the staff at the Medcare Clinic Niagara Falls location. I have been a patient since this clinic opened, and am very happy to tell you that the service and patient care is excellent! The frontline staff, is so kind and genuine and do their best to get you into see a doctor as soon as possible. With the stress of the Covid-19 pandemic, the ladies on the frontline did everything they could to make sure all patients felt safe and cared for. Maryanne and Kelly are tremendous team members. I have gone back to this clinic and now make this my go to for my doctor and medications at the Medcare pharmacy located within the clinic. Kumar and Dave and their staff have a great working relationship with the clinic, so that when I have been seen by the doctor I simply have to walk across the hallway to pick up my medications. The Medcare clinic offers great services. Not only do they see patients, they administer various tests, which help the patients in their health journey. I have had heart and blood tests respectively;with all results being returned in a timely manner. I highly recommend Medcare Niagara clinic as the place to help you take care and advocate for your health!

The best walk in clinic. Staff are great and accommodating. Especially Mary Anne. I had to leave the clinic to go pick up my son from school. I was worried I would not make it back in time and lose my place. Mary Anne was very helpful and Imade it back to see the doctor. Doctor was attentive.

I had a horrible experience with this clinic. I went there sometime in Dec 2022 at around 10 am and waited patiently to be seen by a doctor at around 12-12:30 pm (can't remember the exact time). As this was so late to report, my friend insisted that I write a review so people will be aware at how the patients are treated at this clinic. I told the doctor that I was feeling so much pain in my left leg that time and this was going on for so many months but that time I was really in pain. I wanted to know what was happening. He told me there was nothing wrong with me. He told me that he will send me for MRI and that I have to undergo a surgery in the back. I told him I will think about it first but just wanted to know what is happening first. He said no MRI if there is no surgery. He then told me "DEAL WITH IT!!!" and left me in the room without saying we're done or whatever. I was really shocked at the attitude-- no compassion whatsoever. If he didn't like me to think first before agreeing to the surgery, then just explain to me the reason why I need to do that first... then I can make a decision whether I should agree or not. I know there is a lack of doctors nowadays but at least be professional in dealing with your patients!!! You don't have to rush your patients in doing something that will affect their lives in the future. I was reading the reviews now that I know people should avoid going to this place. The doctor who saw me was really unprofessional and no care or sympathy to his patient. Emailing the clinic about our concerns will not help at all if the doctors and the staff will not show compassion and care... Something has to be done and if people stop going to this place then they will wake up. That will be the first and the last time I will go to this clinic... If there is a 0 star I will do a 0 rating.

I was one of the first original patients when the clinic opened. It certainly has evolved...negatively. You used to be able to make appointments...that policy is long gone. Obviously greed has overtaken the management vision. They take everyone with or without a pulse. Overcrowded and understaffed. I realized that it doesn't even pay to be pleasant, respectful and considerate...you get treated the same...just another number and a billable service. On my last visit the PDA (not a Dr.) actually googled my symptoms in front of me and the required medication. This didn't make me feel confident. On my return trip, I tested positive for COVID...and could not be seen by a practitioner. I was advised that a PDA would call me to review my symptoms...an inner ear issue. I never received that call. I followed up the next day and was promised a call and to no surprise...no one called. Bottom line...too many patients...understaffed..stressed and with no realistic understanding to actual waiting times. This is a business and should be run with some sense of customer service. I ONLY RETURN DUE TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICE LEVELS PROVIDED BY DR. HOWARD MILLER....THE VERY BEST ! TOO BAD HE IS NOT A GP !

honestly do not even waste your time trying to come here lol. youll waste you entire day in their waiting room if they haven't already stopped accepting patients. I came 3 hours before they close, travelled from thorold by bus to get my prescription refilled and a referall for a knee injury and they told me theyre not taking patients. the waiting room wasnt even full. respectfully, go anywhere BUT this clinic and i promise youll get actual help.

The gynaecologist Dr. M.J dube was incredibly RUDE , laughed / judged my mother for not speaking proper English & was very aggressive… we also had an appointment , waited 30 minutes for this doctor to finish her lunch break to see us , why not schedule after the lunch break ?? Being a pregnant woman & not being to sit was also horrible, never coming back!!!

Front staff was nice and friendly. I met with someone, the x-ray requisition said it was Rakesh Chawla... I don't think I met with that person. Maybe a physicians assistant... she didn't introduce herself. I went in with a fever and a cough due to chest congestion of over two weeks and upper abdominal pain. She did not take my temperature, she listened to my breathing over my shirt, and did not even palpate the upper abdomen at all. What she did do was almost perforate my ear drum with her technique of looking in someone's ear. She will definitely cause ear damage to people in the future with how she does that. Told me to keep doing what I was doing, and in the same breathe that a fever shouldn't last that long.. Will not be returning.

I've been coming to this clinic for over 3 years now. Unfortunately I have to give 1 star because of the Dr's I've seen this past year have been TERRIBLE! I filled out a form to be a patient and "assumed" I WAS a patient. Turns out after my last visit when I needed a Dr note I was rudely told "honestly you aren't my patient, I don't know you, or anything about you, I don't know if you go from clinic to clinic looking to get notes to be off work but I'm not writing one because it's not worth my time" (I've never used a note in my 20+ years at my job) I also had a female Dr the time before this who told me to "deal with my hernia. If it's hurting that bad go to the hospital" Total lack of human decency. The new receptionist is SO rude! The 2 ladies previous were AMAZING! The new one actually made me contact X-ray to resend my results to them because she didn't get them. The X-ray thought that it was odd I was doing it. I do have to say that I've seen Dr. Miller for heart issues and he is THE BEST! Kind, friendly, and actually listens. Will NOT be returning!
