It's a great experience to enjoy Christmas light show while driving. There are two free parking lots for temporary parking. I spent about 15 minutes including walking among the art lights.

Nice quaint island with some trails on the property. Makes for a nice afternoon stroll. Parking is $5 an hour which is ample time for the space. Lots of geese and ducks in the water and birds on the trails. Located across the street from the falls and rapids it makes for a nice diverse walk.

This park during the festival of light is a must do. Just amazing work on the part of the artists. When we went you could park the car and walk all among the art pieces and over the bridge (during the day) but you can also walk around at night. At the end there was a place with some volunteers for donations but it was truly just donations it’s not required, just bring cash if you did want to contribute

Dufferin Islands is such a great little hidden spot. It’s literally a 4 minutes drive from the falls. Me and my family come here often to get away from the busy areas in Niagara Falls to enjoy lunch or dinner. They have picnic tables with some bbq areas. They have a few trails throughout the park to enjoy. A public washroom that is usually quite clean. There’s wildlife such as geese and ducks to enjoy also. In the Winter, it does have a Christmas lights display as well. It’s free but donations are always appreciated to help towards the next years display. They have paid parking, but the area is otherwise free to enjoy. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy your takeout while in the Falls, this is the place to go.

This is a beautiful park just outside Niagara falls. There's like ten tiny islands surrounded by Woodlands with little Bridges connecting each one. It's a great place for a walk. Great place for a BBQ. Right now the Fall colors are popping at 100%

Beautiful small island .. the ponds are full of Canadian geese and ducks . Parking is not free anymore , location has washrooms .. it has some picnic areas with outdoor benches. The small islands through bridges are not accessible during winter time . The island has the most beautiful Christmas lights in the Niagara area .

Beautiful place. Please do not feed the animals. That's the only thing that needs to be said for this place to be perfect.

Hidden gem of the Niagara falls tourist area. Basically empty during the week and on weekends only those who know will be there. Clean restroom area with bicycle pump and repair tools. Lots of paths and bridges that put you right amongst the ducks, geese and turtles. 15 mins walk to table rock with the great falls view.

Good place to have leisure time to see birds closely, and the upper stream before the water flows into the falls. Numerous pay parking spaces, I parked with my Niagara Park Annual Pass without parking charge.

This is a beautiful nature area for you to get away from the city. It is quite and peaceful area. There is a pond where you can always find geese and ducks. Please do not feed them bread, fries or other food that is harmful to them. There are many mature trees and also a trail where you can walk by the water. The water here is diverted from the Niagara River. There are benches and bbqs and also washrooms. The parking used to be free before but now they have installed those machines where you can pay and display your parking slip. The best thing is to buy annual parking pass if you are using the parking at the falls and here for more than once.
