👍👍 This was definitely a must-see spot for me on my visit to Niagara Falls. I'm a big Tesla fan (as evidenced by my T-shirt), and the sculptor did a wonderful job capturing both his likeness and his presence. It's situated close to the falls, too, so it's definitely a convenient spot for visitors. People often mention Tesla, Niagara, statue, Falls, Nikola, power,

I loved this statue of TESLA, the great scientist and inventor. He created the first hydroelectric production plant at Niagara Falls, he was a genius!

A beautiful place to commemorate the contribution of one of the greatest inventors of recent times. Written on the monument itself, a quote by Tesla: "The possibilities of will power and self control appeal tremendously to my vivid imagination…. Until finally my will and wish become identical. They are so today, and in this lies the secret of whatever success I have achieved. My imaginings were equivalent to realities.”

Have you visited Niagara falls? I am quite sure yes is the answer. Have you ever seen Mr. Nikola Tesla’s statue in Niagara falls? Many of you might not. Nikola Tesla is best known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current (AC) electric supply system. Mr. Tesla created the world’s first hydroelectro power plant at the Niagara falls! Tesla and Edison were competing with each other at that time with their skills. Nikola Tesla with AC and Thomas Edison with DC for transmitting electricity. For development of plant at Niagara Falls, both submitted their proposals in the contest in 1893 organised by Niagara Falls Commission. The pitch based by Tesla’s approach (Westing house Electric and Manufacturing Company) was accepted and awarded the contract since Tesla’s AC based bet was better than Edison’s DC based proposal!

When you're visiting beautiful Niagara Falls be sure to take a moment to visit and admire this statue of Nikola Tesla. He is standing tall overlooking the falls in the small park dedicated to him and his achievements.

The Nikola Tesla Statue at Niagara Falls is a remarkable tribute to one of history's greatest inventors and visionaries. Standing in the presence of this statue, I couldn't help but feel a profound sense of admiration for Tesla's contributions to science and technology. The sculpture itself is beautifully crafted, capturing Tesla's likeness with great detail and precision. The location, overlooking the majestic Niagara Falls, adds to the grandeur of the experience. It's a fitting spot for a man who played a crucial role in harnessing the power of electricity. This statue is not only a piece of art but also a symbol of inspiration. It serves as a reminder of the incredible potential of human innovation and the impact one individual can have on the world.

Neat statute of Nikola Tesla. Definitely worth a visit. His spirit must have been in the air because my friend’s hair was literally standing on end.

Nikola Tesla was a Serb and we as a nation are so proud to be here again, and paid a tribute to such an amazing man. He did a lot for whole world, but the most he did for us, Serbs. Хвала Никола!

Good views from here. Tesla has been adopted as the most important scientist by the local government because he drove the development of the modern AC power transmission system (while Edison kept pushing the nearly worthless DC transmission concept). Fortunately, Tesla worked Mr. Westinghouse to do practical things while Edison did all he could to claim all the credit for this and many other things he did not invent and destroy Tesla’s reputation and deny him the money he should have earned. Without Tesla our great grandparents would have been in the dark for years longer.

This statue is within Queen Victoria Park, on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. Tesla designed the first hydroelectric power plant at Niagara Falls. It is worth a stop for Tesla fans, or fans of history.

One of the places I would recommend to go with friends or family. Worth spending a day or two. Best place for people of all age groups including young kids. There are hotels and restaurants, long way to walk or even jog. I was fully satisfied!!

One of the kind founding father of modern electrical technology. Alternating current, fluorescent and neon lighting, wireless telegraphy, and the giant turbines that harnessed the power of Niagara Falls. WIZARD
