Great stop for dinner. Love the eclectic decor. Service was excellent and food was delicious! Reasonably priced meals and glasses of wine. We always order fish dinner (breaded or fried haddock) because we can't find a single restaurant in Northeast Ohio that serves anything even remotely like what is offered in most restaurants throughout NY state. This breaded haddock was delicious, lightly coated and quite a generous portion. The included side salad was also generous in size and delicious. The desserts were extensive and varied, but the dinners left no room to eat anything else. I would recommend The Bakery to anyone and plan to return the next time we are in Niagara Falls. Prices were quite reasonable.

Cool place with very good food and great prices. I had the surf and turf which came with 2 lobster tails, an 8 oz fillet mignon, choice of potato and garden salad. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted very good. My wife had the mini surf and turf which was 1 lobster tail, a 4 oz fillet mignon, choice of potato and garden salad, again cooked perfectly. There was complimentary bread brought out with our appetizer which was stuffed peppers. I didn't really care for the peppers unfortunately. We shared a bottle of wine for $20 and had dessert to go which was very good too. The service was friendly and we will return for sure.

An absolute gem of a find on a trip away from home. The venue is a virtual museum of area history, a preservation of businesses lost but not forgotten. The food was top notch with generous portions and original recipes giving a new twist to items in ways we had not seen before. Chef Joseph was kind enough to give us a glimpse of the rich history of the establishment, a tour of the restaurant and an understanding of his keen appreciation for the history. The experience and the ambiance was genuine, every piece on display had a story and seemed familiar. The warmth and emotion of the staff and the decor enhanced the dining experience. I recommend it for those looking for a real touch of the region, or those just looking to get away from the cookie cutter touristy resort offerings.

We were very lucky to find this gem during our trip to Niagara from Cali. We'd just spent an entire day touring the Falls and found this restaurant after cancelling a reservation we had near Old Falls St. (Parking stressed us out, and we were hangry.) Bakery Restaurant has such an unassuming exterior, it was a surprising delight to be met with the interior's charming antique motif. We arrived just before the dinner rush and were seated promptly. Our server was lovely, but as it did get busy, there were moments where we experienced some wait on service. The manager/owner was great and made up for these gaps, however, checking in on us and even taking our additional orders. We started with the stuffed banana peppers which were delicious! My partner had the fettuccine which wasn't quite to his liking, but I tried it myself and thought it was tasty. I might've eaten his leftover, but I ordered the mini surf n turf, which was plenty already. My fave on my plate was definitely the lobster with the butter sauce. Both the lobster and steak medallion were cooked to my satisfaction. We finished off with the sundae and fried cheesecake, both strong finishes to the night.

This place is absolutely amazing!!! We are not from the Niagara area and wanted a restaurant that served different food from a burger or tacos. Wow what a place! We only ordered appetizers and soup because we were stuffed after that. The stuffed peppers and stuffed mushrooms were delicious, along with the clam chowder soup😋 The atmosphere great! We sat on the bar side, warmer in my opinion, the lighting and layout reminded me of my grandparents house. This restaurant is welcoming to all and a great place to eat! During our visit we have seen a lot of restaurants closed around the Niagara NY area. We realize it’s a colder time of year, people don’t care to see the Falls, and the COVID scare once again probably keeps people away. My husband and I are hoping this restaurant will not fall out/away due to COVID, and we will be able to enjoy the food and atmosphere once again in late spring of 2022 with some other family members. I absolutely loved the atmosphere of this restaurant. It was so cute and very well kept. The portion sizes were huge. I ended up getting the lobster tail and it was so delicious.

The best restaurant I’ve been to in Niagara Falls. The food was amazing. Many of the items were very obviously homemade. The service was great. We will absolutely be going back very soon.

This restaurant was a little surprise!! From the outside it doesn’t look like much but inside the decor really makes you feel like your at home having a home cooked meal. I had the “famous” baby back ribs my wife had the open steak sandwich and my mother-in-law had the spinach stuffed baked haddock. The ribs were nice and tender but the did not have the flavor cooked into it. The sauce was laid on top and though it was good it didn’t meet my bar for BBQ ribs. The wife and mother-in-law really enjoyed their meals. My ribs came with choice of soup or salad. I chose the soup which was bacon cheeseburger w/ macaroni and was very creamy and delicious. I would love to return to try something different next time. The staff was very friendly. Oh the Irish coffee was delicious as well.

I had a fantastic time dining at this establishment. Stephanie was an amazing host. She was polite and had a great sense of humor. The chef presented me with an amazing entrees. I enjoyed the food, decor, music, and atmosphere. Thank you again!!!

Took my whole large family out to eat here while we were on vacation. It was a really nice place to eat. The manager was there and came to our table many times to make sure we were doing okay. He even bussed our table. You could tell he really cared about the quality of his restaurant. They had great food and great cheesecake. We were all very pleased.

AMAZING! We happened upon The Bakery when searching for a place for dinner and the stuffed banana peppers caught our attention. Inside is warm amd inviting and the food was beyond what we expected. The owner even came out to greet every guest and he chatted with us for a bit about the history. I wish it were closer to us.

if you are ever in Buffalo NY Niagara Falls area, this is a must try place for a delicious and satisfying meal. it was 11 of us and we order from several items of appetizers, soups, entree, drinks and desserts which were all so delicious and made to perfection. We all had a taste from each other’s dishes because of how good the food is. The drinks from the bar was even more satisfying. The best frozen margarita I’ve had and the kids loved their daiquiris. This place has pretty much everything, seafood, steak…ah…the best steak that melts in your mouth. Pasta dishes are to die for. Lobster, crab cakes, etc. The restaurant itself has a very unique beautiful country looking cozy and warm feeling inside. Best customer service from the most friendliest staff. We were visitors to the area from Maryland and these people in the restaurant treated us like they’ve known us forever. We truly felt like we were in our own hometown and it’s not a feeling you find everywhere you go. Thank you for a lovely dinner and your hospitality during our visit to your location. If/when we are in the area again, we would definitely stop by for a visit to your place

Well this is a place to checkout if you are looking for a local feel. Service was a little disjointed. Staff needs to focus on a table when there and not also be asking the next table over if they need anything. Lesson 1 of customer service, the customer Infront of you is the most important.

I discovered the Bakery in 2020 during autumn. it was so cozy and absolutely warm and welcoming. I loved the decorations for the season and the overall aesthetic of the place. it’s probably my favorite looking restaurant around here! I went again around my birthday in December and again on Mother’s Day. (the Christmas feel was amazing as well!) the food is really good and the portion sizes are perfect! I love their desert options as well *last photo is the chicken parmesan and spaghetti meal*

Made me wait a long period Of time. Also felt uncomfortable do to the employees, but it was one awesome waitress that was on her job and I really appreciated her but other workers didn't make me feel so welcome I guess due to me being a minority. Be the food was good

The food was ok. Would have been better if it was actually hot. I got the crab filled halibut, and it was only lukewarm. My husband loved his BBQ chicken & rib dish.
